Dr Mortensen, is professional, knowledgeable and has the best doctor patient manner. He explains everything in the way I understand. Our family feels very fortunate to have him take care of us. And the staff is amazing. And I mean everyone. I just had the pleasure of working with Selena Garcia and she is so professional and helpful. The whole team at Speedy specs are amazing. I had been driving to Utah for my daughters eye exams, but decided to visit Dr. Wallace instead. I couldnt have been happier! He was very personable and explained everything thoroughly. The office is clean and the staff are very nice too. Its so nice to be able to get quality health care locally.

I love speedy specs. They never make you wait more than a few days for your appointment they’re always on time I have never been held up and they are on the job and up to snuff when it comes time to get your glasses picked up all in all they are a great provider.

I went in last week for an eye exam, doc was friendly. Very thorough with explanation to all my inquiries. Front desk ladies were friendly and helpful as well. The young lady Emily who helped me with picking out frames is pleasantly friendly and helpful explaining what options for the types of lens to choose for my sunglasses. Very easy to talk to along with a great smile definitely brightened my day, thank you for the awesome experience.

Everyone was very friendly. Doctor Andrus was very nice and explained everything through even threw in a few jokes when I mentioned how many lights were shined in my eyes. You can tell people youve seen the light The lady who helped me pick out my frames was very sweet and helpfully. All together it was fast and friendly. Thank you

Great experience here! The eye doctor made me so comfortable. When it was time to pick up my glasses, they informed me they werent finished yet, despite closing in a half hour and telling me they would be done that day. I was on my lunch break so I couldnt wait around. The receptionist, Lily, let me know they would stay late to finish my glasses because I was told they would be done that day. Then she brings them to me at work after hours! Thats customer service you cant hold a candle to. Great experience 10/10 would recommend.

They never return my voice messages nor do they answer their phones. I’ve sent them an email and still haven’t heard from them. Last three times I went there to get my glasses, they’re closed outside their regular working hours. How am I supposed to get my glasses if they won’t answer their phone or return my calls.

Good luck getting anything done. Appointment went fine. Then doc said he was going order contacts for me to try. Almost 2 months later and no one has a clue whats going on and I still dont have contacts. Call and call and get a different excuse each time. Dont waste your time.

Completely inflexible to school childrens schedules. do not make appointments when they are not in school and are unwilling to do anything other than their set times.

Thorough exam, quick turn-around time. The office staff offered to prioritize my order to same-day service as I was from out of town. I declined but it was still nice for them to offer.

I’ve been going here for a long time. My last experience was horrible. There billing department screwed up how they billed my insurance and caused us a lot of unnecessary stress. They contradicted themselves and would not provide clear answers. I will never return here.

Ok so I read reviews before going here. Many bad reviews but locally there was such a backup on getting eye exams, I felt I had no option.I must say it was nothing like what I had read in reviews. The ladies at the desk were very friendly and got me in quickly. The doctor was funny, kind, patient, and very informative.I feel bad for people who did not get treated the same way I did but I am very pleaded and reccomend this place.

My grandmother had cervical cancer but when she put on their glasses she was cured i cant thank this company enough. I pray to the Speedy Specs god every night for what you guys did for us.

Waste of time and money. Speedy Specs and staff are unprofessional to say the least. The receptionist not only made me feel as an inconvenience but also provided me with false information. Only the woman who did the eye exam before I saw Dr. Andrus in the next room did a good. The eye exam performed by Andrus seemed insufficient in my experience. It was rushed and unlike any other Ive had in the past with other Doctors. Neither glasses or contacts were provided for me, not even samples. After the appointment with the Doctor I was rushed over to some young gal in sales that didnt have much knowledge or concern for me as a patient. I left with many questions unanswered, most importantly if the exam performed by Dr. Andrus was performed accurately and if I was billed correctly. After I left Speedy Specs I went to Walmart Eye Center in Elko, spoke to Sheena, she was excellent! Right to the point, no bull, and showes genuine concern for me as a patient. I will not be returning to Speedy Specs. Go see Sheena at Walmart!!

Absolutely garbage. I had an appointnent, and had to drive 120 miles to get there, well, my car broke down on the freeway, having 2 small kids in the car, i was more worried about getting a tow, and getting my kids off the freeway. So i called the next day, explaining the issue, and the uppity skank on the phone says because it was a no show, the only way they would reschedule is if i pay more than id even pay with my insurance, prior to arranging the appointment. 🤣🤣🤣 i hardly think so, bi*** ill find another location thats a little nore understanding of how life happens, and a mothers need to get kids out of a dangerous situation. I wouldnt spit on this place if it were engulfed in flames

I arrived 9 minutes late for my appointment and was told the 10 minute rule applied. I told them I would find another company! Ridiculous!

Eye exam went great, but picked up my glasses and my bifocals were almost covering my whole entire lenses. So now I have to wait 3 to 4 more days to get them back
