Store is very well laid out. It gave us the opportunity to see different settings and and color combinations to assist in deciding what we wanted. We worked with Sandy Salazar who was most helpful in helping decide on what would work best for us. She came to our home to get a better sense of what we were looking for. We then went back to the store and even decided on getting a new rug for our dining room. A very successful endeavor. Looking forward to the delivery of our new dining room table, chairs and rug.

Kelsey Wetherington made our mother/daughter shopping experience a pleasure. Asking a few key questions, she quickly discerned our needs. I am very happy with my experience of buying a dresser from Ethan Allen. I was very nervous about my purchase. I called a design center and got Kelsey Wetherington on the phone. She was so helpful! She was generous with her time, and she listened to my concerns. She asked me to text her pictures of the other pieces of furniture in my room, and reassured me that the dresser I had chosen would fit right in. She helped me to feel confident about my decision. The dresser was delivered today, and it is perfect for my room! I couldnt be more pleased.

Ethan Allen furniture is excellent. Customer service in Maryland is not. When sent the wrong swatch of material for a sofa I had ordered, the response was, Oh, they must have been out of your color. Not helpful - nor were any workarounds suggested. Oh, its because of the pandemic, was another response ... the pandemic caused color blindness? an inability to read the code of the correct fabric? really? When I was told no swatch of my fabric could be obtained, I suggested I borrow the in-store sample of the fabric for 48 hours. This was not met with, Of course, lets get that arranged. I was told they only had one in the store and they dont like to let it go. They did let me borrow it when I insisted - but what a waste of energy - and how adversarial. Ive bought several things from Ethan Allen in Virginia and never experienced anything other than excellent service. Perhaps some in-house training is in order?

We had our draperies installed today in Pennsylvania. Our installer, Tim, is excellent. He is professional, knowledgeable, and amiable. He took the time to explain everything we need to know about our new draperies. We are thrilled with the draperies and the installation.

My wife and I enjoyed working with Lena Archuleta when she did the interior designs for our new home in 2015. So, when we decided to move and build a new one, we knew instantly who was going to help us to do the interior designs for our new home--it HAD to be Lena! Even though were not supposed to be moving until early 2022, we started working with her right away in August 2021 so that pieces (hopefully) have the lead time to be ready for delivery when we move into our new home.Lena is knowledgeable and creative, but she really listens to her clients. She definitely helped us to find furniture pieces with colors and fabrics that we LOVE, but couldnt have found by ourselves. Love Ethan Allen. Great experience. Designer (Casey) took time to get to know us and our style. After one home visit our entire space was designed and visualized within a week. While delivery was longer due to unforeseen circumstances (COVID), communication was excellent and we LOVE our new space.

Ashley Carlton is the reason we have had the strength to order new furniture for our first floor. I am not one to make big purchases solely online, but during an unprecedented year, I had resigned myself to looking online. I was having difficulty this Covid- Spring ordering a set of twin beds and mattresses in preparation for a first visit from grandchildren in 18 months. In a panic, I contacted designer Kelsey Wetherington who had previously assisted me with a bedding project for our boat. I worked with Ashley Carlton and she was terrific. Like so many other people during the pandemic, I got the urge to spruce up several rooms in my house -- but I knew I needed help as I tend to get overwhelmed when there are too many choices. I was perusing Ethan Allens website and Ashley popped into the chat. Within a couple of minutes, we agreed to do a Zoom call (I live in RI and Ashley is in Baltimore) where I explained the various projects I had in mind. After that call, I knew immediately that I wanted to work with Ashley -- she is warm and funny and smart. I sent her pictures of the various rooms, and once or twice a week following that, we would meet virtually and Ashley would present various options. If something didnt resonate with me, she never took offense -- rather, she strove to understand why so she could present different choices. Ashley went out of her way on so many levels -- from making arrangements for some of my existing furniture to be reupholstered with EA fabrics to offering to venture to RI post-pandemic to help me accessorize and style various rooms. I am thrilled with the results of our collaboration -- and I plan to continue working with Ashley as I tackle other projects around the house.

Lena Archuleta made the process for getting new living room furniture SO easy! She was wonderful to work with. I showed my living room, and it was important for me to have furniture that complimented the room. I didn’t know where to begin with all the choices that are out there, especially because I wanted a neutral color palette. She is an amazing designer and really quickly figured out what type of furniture I would like. I had the pleasure of interacting with Sandy while purchasing a dinning room table. She was very patient, attentive, and very knowlegable about designing/chosing the right colors and patterns for the chairs that I purchased with the table. The furniture is beautiful but The sales rep gave us very wrong information. She told us that we could get certain pieces to fit our space then after we ordered she said she was wrong and they were not all available. You only have 3 days yo cancel and it was too late. We had to settle for something different...We spent $8000 and had to settle. Thats bad business Ethan Allen.

Drive 40 miles w a large furniture budget only to have them lock their doors 2 hrs early for weather. It had stopped at least 30 min before I got there & I was met at the door by a woman who said Thats too bad & tried to slip me brochures through the doors. I declined & we wont be back. Ever.Judith, I had just driven 40 miles in the weather they were afraid of. And, as I stated, it had already stopped before my arrival. The excuses dont fly...every other furniture store remained open, we visited 5 stores & we spent $14k at Basset instead. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Ashley took measurements and snapshots and discussed ideas with me. My husband and I met her at her store a couple days later where she provided seating and color choice recommendations. We felt no pressure, were never hurried or rushed. We chose a leather sectional and matching ottoman. With Ashley’s help we chose colors for the leather sectional, leather ottoman, and wooden base. I had a timeframe in mind which meant a bit of a rush, however the furniture was delivered earlier than expected, in plenty of time. The delivery was smooth. The furniture looks amazing in the space. Ashley was always attentive and followed up with us afterwards. I’m extremely pleased with my purchase and Ethan Allen experience.

Bought a leather couch and matching recliner custom built. Arrived in 4 weeks which was great. Recliner mechanism broke in 2 weeks plus the leather on seat has wrinkle in middle. Called store, corporate many times for adjustment with promises. Waiting for promised repair!😣😣😣

Excellent Experience! We needed furniture for three rooms and were basically starting from start. Rayma was patient, listened to our concerns and was able to help with the right furniture pieces, fabrics, and color. The quality of the furniture is excellent and very well made. Our consultant, Rayma Waraich, has amazing taste and I have relied on her for the numerous rooms we have redone over the past several years. She has come to our home numerous times to help with selecting our furniture, associated fabrics, window treatments, and even carpeting. I cant say enough great things about her.

We had a wonderful experience working with Rayma as our designer. She helped us choose new family room and dining room furniture for a home we are renovating on the Eastern shore. We gave her a general idea of our taste and she new just what to suggest, including finishing touches like pillows and rugs. We bought a sectional couch, dining room table/chairs, coffee table, buffet and bar stools.Delivery was great. Set up was great. Notification of deliveries was efficient. All furniture top quality and we couldn’t be happier.It all made our new home feel homier than ever.10/11/2019 REVIEW EDIT.We were supposed to have had our final furniture delivery yesterday, 10/10/2019, however I received a call from delivery department that the truck broke down and they had to push back our delivery time. Sure, no problem. 2 hours later, I receive another phone call, the truck broke down again and wouldn’t be able to delivery. Ok, that’s a problem. I’m self employed and took off from work. When I don’t work, I don’t make money. Reschedule delivery for following day.I get a call in the morning from delivery department, “the truck was stolen, they couldn’t find it”. Ok at this point, this is frustrating yes, but almost comical. Sounds like a movie script for a comedy, the jokes on you (me). But wait, it gets even more comical.At the bank today doing some business and get a call again from delivery department, “we found the truck and we can deliver today”. Ok, great, not holding my breath at this point. Good thing I didn’t.Delivery window was 2:30-4:30, I’m sitting at home and 3 pm rolls around, ANOTHER call, “our truck has a flat tire and can’t deliver today”.I hope everyone reading this review is like WTF because my wife are doing the same, but be glad it’s not happening to you. So alas, I’ve downgraded my review Ethan Allen. I’m blown away ! Y’all better be doing some firing, rehiring and restructuring, because me being a business owner, knows this type of business failure will hurt you sooner or later.

Beautuful and elegant furniture, but expensive.

Do not shop at this store. The customer service is horrible! Once you buy an item, you can not return, get a refund or exchange. The designers just try to get you to purchase items but once purchased, if you have any problems, they offer no assistance. I purchased furniture and the item was poorly made, low quality and had damage. They did not offer any help to resolve matter. Do not make the same mistake! Go to any other furniture store- not Ethan Allen!

I had been searching for bedroom and dining room furniture for about a year. I’ve wandered in a lot of furniture stores and have never seen much I’ve loved or had anyone really help me.A few months ago, that changed when we went to Ethan Allen in Elkridge. The furniture there is beautiful and you can see the wonderful quality.Rayma, one of their design consultants has been helping us choose beautiful furniture and fabrics. She’s professional, so friendly and extremely knowledgeable about room design and furniture choice. She came out to the house to measure and shared a room design which helped us see what everything would look like when the room was complete. You never feel pressured to spend more than you feel comfortable buying.I strongly recommend furniture shopping at Ethan Allen. Please ask to see Rayma if you visit this particular store. She is a pleasure to work with!!Also, If your furniture is delivered with any scratches, etc, they will fix it immediately!!This is where I plan on buying any furniture I need in the future!!!5 stars for this store location and Rayma!!

I hate to be the person that writes a bad review,but today left me exceptionally upset. My husband,toddler and I went in to look for lights/ other home decor since we just built.We may have not been dressed our finest,but sheesh!The ladies name(begins with an R ) who directed to help us pretty much looked at me in disgust and seemed as she wanted nothing to do with us.I felt so upset we just left. I did tell the nice front desk people and I’m pretty sure they felt the whole situation was “off”.I honestly don’t remember her name. I threw her business card away because why would i want to work with someone who was so bluntly not wanting us.Again, the front desk staff were very nice.

I had ordered a bed frame from Ethan Allen. When the delivered the bed frame, they did not bring the hardware to assemble it. Therefore, I had to wait another week or so after, for the hardware to arrive, and the tech to show up, to assemble it. The service was poor.

Plenty of parking. Lots of personal service available inside if you want it. Prices are quite high.

I was in this location looking at a sofa. My brother in law works for Ethan Allen in Mt. Pleasant, and previously work in the Annapolis office. I bought a lot of furniture from him at that time. I needed a new couch, and he still knows all my other furniture. His name is BILL GOUDELOCK. Bill sent me to the Elkridge location to look at two sofas. When I went to Elkridge I met GAIL GEORGE. I told her I was working with my brother in law. Gail was the ultimate professional despite knowing I was purchasing the sofa from my brother in law. I had to go to the Elkridge locations a second time to look at fabric samples. Gail was again extremely helpful. Both of these designers are excellent. I highly recommend both of them. I did go to the Annapolis store. They were not as friendly, or helpful at all, after hearing to was working with another location.
