I had to pick up a vehicle from them. Got there, met the slowest employees who literally hate their lives and found a car with no key inside. I walk back to the office, ask for the key, they go in some office, of course on a very slow walking, because, what’s the rush when you are paid/hour? 😅Security guy came back, no key was found. I head back to the car looking again, no key inside. That’s how I found a guy driving a Malibu through the parking lot and I asked him. He was knowledgeable and he found the keys on the corporate office on a desk. He brought them, but the vehicle was inoperable. Ofc it was listed as operable. But who to blame? Lose 3 hours there and at the end nothing. You need new management and new employees.

Buyers fees have gotten ridiculous here, especially on lower priced vehicles. $220 on a $1350 car? That’s nearly twenty percent! And if that isn’t bad enough, there isn’t any service now. Had to walk 40 minutes from the train station to the auction in 90 degree heat carrying a jump box to pick up a car I bought. I understand Covid and all, but buses, trains and other forms of transportation are all working. What danger is there with someone sitting 15 feet behind the driver of the shuttle? And when I finally get there exhausted, they say they can’t drive me out to the sold lot, yet I see 6 or 7 employees being driven around in the lot vans. Been buying here since the early 90’s and would get a couple cars a month. Only bought 3 cars all of this year so far here. Any wonder why?

I am a dealer and a frequent and respected buyer at this auction. I bid on and purchased an immaculate Lexus RC this past week, which I checked out fully beforehand. My dealership is in another city so I had my tow guy go to pick it up and bring it to our dealership. He arrived and immediately took pictures of the vehicle and sent them to me as usual, for us to find that one of the tail lights had been busted. We called Manheim today to be told by a management position that she is unable to do anything at all about this. We will not come to this auction from now on, buyers should beware of angry dealers or careless employees messing with your purchase.

You cannot hook up an scanner on cars. Your chances of buying a lemon skyrockets. Would have bought tons of cars from here if I could. Not taking a chance to buy a car that I cannot check.

One of the worst Manheim auction. Not equal in the market rights. VIP seller controls them. Auction do high condition report grade for VIP sellers then sell AS IS, but if you would find some do not match their report they find many excuses or just say AS IS NOT Arbitrable

This establishment is extremely disorganized and unprofessional. I purchased a car and they have completely misplaced it. It’s been 3 days and they can’t find out where the car is. Whenever I call I am transferred several times just to be left on a voicemail recording. I will never be buying from here again. Completely unprofessional and a horrible experience. Too far to walk and get cars. Especially when you have to get 5 and no shuttle running yet!!!Never heard of the express lane. If that is the turnabout gate over where we park the roll back yes i have tried that. Our cars are always in PSI. Clear down the other end of the lot. We all wear masks and could sit far away in the shuttle van...i hope rules relax a bit soon. Been coming to 3 manaheims for 2 yrs now. Its just crazy anymore

I bought a car and paid for it but they would not let me out of the lot for my own safety.... I was this close to calling the police... And I have been buying from them for years and 10 to 20 car a week.... once the open the gate it took 20 mins to leave the lot. Here is pic to see. B S management.

The delivery for titles it takes extremely to long unacceptable,cant drive or sell car without title its been a month and this happened more then once,other titles taking way over 2 weeks this is not good at all

I’m not sure what is going, but I’ve never had any issues at this location with picking up vehicles. My husband and I always have a smooth interaction.Recently, it has been a very different experience. The security manager Candice was the only security personnel that ever helped. Since this pandemic I have not seen her and was referred to a gentleman named John. It seems as though I have been forgotten and the attitude and dynamic has changed. Very very unhappy. I wish the great customer service and professionalism would return. It makes us transporters have a much better and easier day.

Really unfortunate how you are treated here. My company vehicle was towed from the main parking lot while my worker was inside picking up vehicles. You are allowed to pick vehicles up until 10pm but they start towing your vehicles at 6pm. I just can’t for the life of me figure out why you would treat your customers that way. There was no foul play here. Obviously dealers are the only ones parking there other than their employees and they know we use dealer tags. I spend about 10k a week here but they look at it like you need us we don’t need you and again it’s unfortunate.

Buyers, I strongly advice not to buy vehicles with this location. I bought a car for $7000, paid for it and the seller took it away. Then the same day they posted it again for $8000. I was told that there will be a compensation for that sellers behavior. In 3 weeks I got the credit but the moment I was about to use it, it was taken way with no explanation. This was after I talked to lots of people with buyer support who gave me updates on the credit being added to the account. Overall a lot of time spent, a lot of frustration and a loss of confidence in everything Manheim claims.

I would strongly like to suggest.... clearly making the staffing areas, as not to have the customers waist valuable time locating vehicles. Ie.. small effort/ investment on management part, very valuable in return on customers. Time equals money, money equals time.

Checking cars is very limited.they cater to sellers not buyers.

The worse place makes no sense for a person to have there car held that is LEGALLY in there name and paid off Nd basically have to wait another week to even retrieve the car due to redemption being appointment based should be able to receive your vehicle after with no wait is necessary makes no sense to wait if the company is not backed up would have rated 0 stars if there was that option.

Julian Auto SalesI purchased a 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe Vin#219804. I have been buying vehicles from you guys for 28 years and no one has ever told me that I only have 10 days to file a claim. I am a online bidder from Michigan. I had trouble getting a driver to bring the SUV to Michigan. The CR Paper did not have all the issues marked. This SUV has $3000 in damages. I called to see if they could do anything to help me out with this and they said they couldnt because it was pass the days to file a claim. 28 years of dealing with them and they say they cant help me. Dealer be careful buying from this auction. I am done! I will not be purchasing anything else from them. I knew about the door having a dent and a couple other issues but not $3000 worth of damages. I am not happy about this at all. They could of offer money off or my next bid take some money off but no they didnt offer anything. Not Happy! Not Happy at all.

They Keep Selling Cars With No Titles They Need To Stop And Make The Sellers Wait Until They Have Titles And Pay Offs Are Completed Waste A lot Of Time Having To Wait 30-100+ Days For Titles Even The 30 Days Arbitration Is To Long They Need To Give Them End Of Auction Week To Turn In It’s Ridiculous

Bought two vehicles from there recently. First one was green light, certified, and had frame damage on the carfax. The other one said the windshield was fixed and never it was. Nothing was resolved with them. We wont sell frame damaged vehicles so we just lost $4k on wholesale since Chrysler obviously wont let us certify it.

I was having an issue with my title and simply asked what I have do to get the issue resolved. She got extremely loud and rude with me. Completely unacceptable. I was truly disgusted by her attitude towards me. If management does nothing about this I have no good reason to continue selling my cars at this auction. Bsc America Just opened up a brand new beautiful auction And would love for me to sell cars there. Again this review is strictly for the management of this auction. Hopefully they will read it. Not a transporter friendly facility but I will say the evening security staff was a great help. I believe her name is Candice and another young lady that was with her. I had trouble getting my vehicles and between the two of them and the shuttle driver it was a much better experience than Ive had in the past.

I purchased five cars from this auction. One particular car was listed as green light ready. Upon receiving it, the car had several issues and was not as described. I contacted customer service but was told there was nothing that could be done for me. Poor customer service and dishonest company. I will never bring my business back to them again.

People leave bad reviews because they dont know the rules and get mad when the auction follows their policy which is available for everyone to read and understand. They dont hide the rules. It is up to the buyers and sellers to keep up with the policies regarding arbitration, green light, as is, etc. And sometimes policies change so you have to be on top of that. I didnt know I had 5 days to present a tow bill for refund on a arbitration, when they told me that was the rule I didnt get mad because it is my responsibility to keep up with that information. A lot of people just raise their hand in the lane, or click bid online without being aware of all announcements, changes and policies. DO YOUR HOMEWORK No one is going to do it for you. I have been buying here for 10 years and I cant name the number of times they they have went above and beyond to help me out ! The only thing I hate is the new no drive policy, but once again its due to dealers and the public crashing cars, not putting them back on spot and just doing whatever they want to do. Probably the worst management in any Manheim lead by Soprano, 2 transport companies went to pick up a vehicle they could not find, 3rd transport guy next day couldnt find it either and it took me all day to try to get people on the phone to locate vehicle supposedly the entire auction limited staff was looking for the vehicle, soprano refused to pay dry run fees that we were billed by transport companies to pick up the car and was acting like this is to be expected in these times. Vehicle supposedly was parked inside garage somewhere, this is terrible business specially at a time when auction traffic is low and they arent even doing live auctions....

They provide very inconsistent info about accounts. The customer service line tends to know what they are doing. The rest- titls/gate pass/ payments department really needs to discuss what they say as a team to their customers since the information they gave me over like 4 calls in one day about the same issue was very different

Driver was nice. 82 years old and hes still going strong. Navy veteran.Place is large. A lot of walking and hunting.Parking is secure. No Porta potties.Bathrooms when theyre open.No food within walking distance but convenience store down the street on the way in with some truck parking.Might have good fuel prices at that convenience store.

Its a pain to deal with this auction, you cant look at cars the day of the sale.

I bought 11 cars on 5/7/19. Two of the cars had engine and transmission issues and passed PSI, it was so obvious that I ended up sending it back with the same towing company. I called and spoke to RICHARD at arbitration and he told me I am basically an idiot for buying high mileage cars, and that I should stop buying and selling cars. T. I then asked him if he is so confident and rude why doesnt he try to do it himself and he told me he is retired and only does this for fun and to talk to idiot like us. This place is different from other manheim, I recommend to stay away, if possible. There are two richards by the way, ONE IS VERY POLITE THE OTHER ONE IS SUPER RUDE!

As a car transporter they have alot of affordable vehicles to choose from. Great staff and the shuttle bus help you to find your cars

I worked for this company for 9 months as a lot manager/detail touch-up crew leader. Worst job experience ever. Big management does not value their employees at all and they will put more and more responsibilities on your shoulders without any compensation for increased workload. the Operations coordinators are grossly uncoordinated and unorganized. Detail shop is severely underpaid. Body shop does ok and mechanic shop does stuff sometimes, but both are consistently screwing things up. So if you want a good car from here. Get one that hasnt been worked on by manheim. You wont regret it.

Usually manheim is the most trusted of wholesale venues. This place is a far cry from the brand manheim trying to create. The CRs are so far outside of any other auction. Mistakes happen and i understand that.. however this wilfully done to misrepresent the vehicle and stick you with it. the best advice i can give you is dont buy online at this auction. You will likely get stuck with a unit that would score much lower at other auctions... and Im not talking about 2k units.. We are a highline store buying late model units. unethical is an understatement. Torn apron.. car arbd 2x prior.. still gets a clean car for the 3rd time its run.

My freind told that same thing happened to his car at the dealers parking lot where mostly towe trucks parks. Nobody takes responsibility. How can one be sure to come to auction to buy a car and his car not be stolen. Also, my freinds who are dealers say that the car they buy, someone is stealing carmats, parts. At the cash deposit department there are only two nice ladies working, they work hard but you should expect some long delay.

New system isnt any good. Takes over an hour to get titles. The public is let in and dealers are told not to talk to anyone. Also parts are stolen regularly off vehicles at this auction. The management team knows about this since our wholesale company brought to chad and Steve attention. Its been going on for years now. Navi cds, key fobs, rubber mats, trim pieces. And if you have a honda or toyota definitely going to get your car tampered with by the time it hits the lane. THEY WONT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT!! They wont even help pay for any damages. Furthermore their Condition reports are a joke. Steve told me dont ever buy a car based on condition report because its not accurate. We went from buying 400 cars a year to none. We went from selling 250 cars to selling notthing. I would never step a foot in this place let alone buy anything from here. They deserve to go out of business poorly run especially with CHAD and STEVE leading the crew.

Actually I call to get for my vehicle psi result print out I call more than three times no body answer the phone not front disk and not even dealer services. the staff are very cheap workers are not helpful. I request for PSI the dont focus how to check the vehicle. they passed vehicle with very bad transmission problem. and dont trust to CR as well.

Bought a 23k lexus on simulcast with a 4.0 condition report score. When my shipper picked it up they notice that the tail light was broken, I notified the management and the security office only to be told that there is nothing that we can do. There is reasons why we don’t buy on simulcast anymore, and it’s is your misrepresentation of the condition report and your lack of professionalism. Never buy from this auction

Very difficult place to buy from, been a dealer 20 years and this is the worst place Ive ever bought ar sold cars. Very unprofessional people to deal with, huge crowd of foreigners bumping into you all day long rudely not excusing themselves. Dealing with people in the office is not much better, theft is running rampant at that location. The arbitrators are flustered and do a terrible job, probably because its understaffed. If you buy something you better go over real well because there are some jems down there. Ill stick to Manheim PA. Let me put it this way BW auction is the inner city of all auctions. Purely a dump.

The cr rating of a 3.4 which is good but in less than a month the car broke down and now had a it needs a new timing belt whos got 5000 to spend after paying 3000 for the car. Has the worst redemption staff. The hoodrat clerk named Kaneisha cost me several hours of work time by lying about not being able to get my car even though they had my release papers. I was the only person there for 2 hours while she lied saying I needed to make an appointment 2 days in advance in order to get my car sitting right outside. Long story short, I contacted her manager Ryan and it literally took 5 minutes to sign a few papers, unlock the gate and ride off with my car.
