We recently hired DJ Floors to install new floors, take down a wall and redo steps in our house. It was a big job which included leveling the subfloors also. Magnus and his team were punctual, professional and attentive to detail. They did a great on a very complicated job and the new floors look fantastic. They are very skilled and I highly recommend them!

DJ floors previously did some flooring in my home and they did a good job. It was over a year ago. Just recently contacted them due to water damage and needed replacement of floors in living room and basement. Someone came and measured however, I have not heard from there company and it has been over two weeks. They wasted my time because, I could of spent that time reaching out to other flooring companies. That is very poor customer service!!!!. I will never use there organization again.

Company was supposed to be reputable and do good work for an expensive bathroom remodel. They improperly installed the toilet and needed a work around. Months later the shower head is also not working properly. I have spoken to the receptionist many many times who relays messages to the project manager but they do not call back and have not stood by their work. If you need the work to be done right and the company to be responsive I would choose someone else.

I wanted to thank the entire staff for being so pleasant, helpful and professional. My whole experience with D J Flooring has been positive. The refinishing of my 160 year old floors looks absolutely amazing and for a great price. There was no mess or extra cleanup required. The carpet in the upstairs was done equally well. Needed quotes for floor replacement on a home Im renting out. DJ came in 2nd low out of four quotes. The estimator was efficient, no up-sell, and no pushiness. Received the quote that day. Very professional. The experience was good enough that Im planning on getting another quote for remodeling work in my home and Im hoping that DJ Floors & remodeling will be the ones that come in the lowest. If so, Ill post another review of my experience with the work they perform...fingers crossed that Ill be able to post another 5 star review.

These guys are the best in the business, doing medium remodeling projects for me that were too small for a handyman but don’t rise to the general contractor level. I simply cannot say enough good things about the high skills, the professionalism, and, not least importantly, the friendliness and excellent work relationships that characterize everything about DJ floors. I came to DJ floors after many, many nightmare contractor experiences. DJ floors seemed heaven-sent to make up for the no-shows, the foot draggers, the take your money and run guy, the sloppy or clueless ones etc. DJ floors has renovated three full bathrooms in our house, and installed gorgeous hardwood and done kitchen and bathroom work in a small rental unit. Nothing was too difficult for them to undertake, including complicated tile work, wall hung vanities, recessed cabinets, lighting adjustments, schluter underfloor heating, and leveling uneven floors. Once they set a price, there is no parade of niggling about change orders. Things get done, according to a schedule, and with great transparency and efficiency. Moreover, their tile and bathroom staff show up early, have wonderful taste, and can advise how the tile can be best laid out, edges polished etc. They take full responsibility for ensuring an adequate structure, for getting high quality materials and the aesthetic outcome. My husband, who used DJ floors in a small rental condo in Virginia, echoes these remarks. In working with them for over a year on various projects, there was not a single unpleasant moment of any kind. For them, the customer comes first – – with outstanding results.

I had an overall excellent experience with DJ floors. I was impressed with their service every step of the way. I ran across their showroom and was welcomed by very helpful staff. They listened to my needs and made suggestions on what type of floor would fit my needs. They had a wide selection of floor types and colors. I was encouraged to take a floor sample home to see what it would look like in my home and project manager Magnus came to my home a few days later for a consultation. I had an accurate estimate within a couple of days. I had another estimate done by one of the large home improvement stores and was not as happy with the cost of the estimate, the price of the project, nor their selection of flooring. The flooring I had installed was ordered quickly and the installation was scheduled in a timely manner. The office was kind enough to work around my schedule. The installers were extremely professional and did a beautiful job installing my new flooring. They ran across a few issues with my old floor and worked with me to figure out a cost efficient and effective solution. I was so happy with the results I decided to have them come back and install matching flooring on my staircase and in the upstairs of my home. Again, they did excellent work and I am extremely happy with the results. They showed up on time each morning and cleaned up after themselves at the end of the work day. I am very impressed with all of the staff/workers I interacted with and I am so happy I chose DJ floors for these projects. I would highly recommend them to anyone, and already have recommended them to a neighbor. Thank you for your excellent work!

We did completely renovate our kitchen using DJ Hardwood Floors. Contractor responsive, did a great job. Without hesitation, I highly recommend him. Best contractor I ever worked with.

DJ Floors has recently branched out to include painting services. They painted my townhouse siding & trim recently and did a great job. Would recommend them. They also tiled my bathroom floor & shower a few years back and did fine work then also.2-16-18 When you find good service, you return for more. DJ Floors recently installed new hardwood floors in my home and i couldnt be happier. Beautiful product (Lauzon Maple)...and expert installation. The guys really know their stuff...very professional. Would definatley recommend them.

I spent over $100,000 for tiling and materials at Porcelansa in Rockville. Porcelanosa told me that DJ was a preferred client. I took their word and now regret as much. My experience with DJ was a total disaster. The irony is that DJs personnel called me a highly recommended customer. However, their actions spoke louder than words. They fooled no one. First, I sent them an email and told them exactly what I needed to be done and desired an estimate for work to install 25+ doors in my house. Each door would have some additional trim work but nothing that would require too much time. DJ comes to my house and immediately tells me that his carpentry guy is too busy. Why was he at my house? Why was he wasting my time? Why didnt he tell me this prior to? We had talked on the phone. He had my email. Does he offer me a schedule? Any options? No. Second, DJ then tells me he could provide estimates for electrical and paint and additional work required in the house. In the 3 weeks that followed, he provides me absolutely nothing and instead (when I ask) tells me good luck finding your next contractor. In short, I not only found that of weak character that DJ would not even do the dirty work of telling me himself...but that he flat out lied to me with regards to being able to provide support to me. I cant accept liars or cheats. I would NOT recommend this company.

This company was referred to us by Porcelanosa in Rockville, MD. I meet with one of their staff by the name of Magnus for a consultation at our house.Magnus is very professional, knowledgeable, and polite. At our first meeting he was on-time and ready to measure the space and discuss the installation with me. I was so impressed by his professionalism that I decided to hire the company on the spot.Throughout the project, I meet more of the DJ’s workers. Every one of them is polite, respectful and knowledgeable in the area of their work. I ended up hiring this company to install our bathroom tiles and vanities. And, I have to tell you, we are very pleased and impressed with the workmanship of the work.If you are in the market for hardwood floor, tile, bathroom, kitchen remolding or new installation, you should contact this company first.
