We have had nothing but good outcomes with Edwards. We worked with Owen on Manchester after shopping around. We had a good deal of carpet replaced throughout our house. Price was good, service by installers that have been with Edwards for years was excellent (including caution with all furniture moving and staying away from any wall damage). Owen and his team answered all our questions and ensured we were beyond pleased. Highly recommend and would certainly choose them again.
We called this location to get an estimate on stairs, and an entire basement carpet replacement.its a big job-and we wanted to have a really good company do the work. I had been calling around all week to figure out who to go with. I called the Ellisville location. I spoke to Owen. The store manager. I asked questions, and wanted to be clear about safety in our home.I asked Owen, who said he was the company owner, to make sure the installers wear masks when in our home. A small request for a company that has no idea what the health status is in my home. A legal health mandate for our entire area. He stated that when you walk in their showroom, him and his wife wear a mask. I left the phone call thinking things were okay. He left a message a few days later on my phone that stated the installers would come to my house, and wear a mask when in front of me but then would take them off in my home and work without them. I then called him back, and Im assuming it was his wife who answered. I asked for the owner, and she acted irritated and annoyed. She said the corporate location and owner were in Creve Coeur . Not aware that her husband had said he was the owner, previously. He is actually the manager of the Ellisville store. When Owen got on the phone, and I asked him about his message he got angry.I wanted him to reiterate what his message had said so I was clear. He hung up on me. I am glad he left a voicemail for me to share with the health department though. This business lacks professionalism and enough tact to put their personal beliefs aside when dealing with customers. I am grateful that they were cle. ar about who they were before I hired them
We bought expensive vinyl flooring for our entire house. The installation was a nightmare and took three times longer than we were told. There were only two installers for the huge job. The installers were rude and left our house a mess. Edwards Carpet did nothing to compensate or try to make the situation better. On top of that, the flooring did not look like the sample and is much darker. We went through all of that trouble and we do not even like the end result. Stay away from the Edwards Carpet on Manchester. They act like they are your friends but they are just slick salesmen. BEWARE!!!
They were extremely helpful but not pushy. Very knowledgeable and excellent customer service. We would recommend them highly. Very accommodating despite the Covid-19 situation.
Shopping for carpet is a pain in the butt. Doing it for the first time in 18 years us an eye opener. Prices are now by the square foot instead of a square yard. Some sq. Ft. Are more expensive uhsn sq. Yds. Used to be. At this store we met OWEN. WEVE found the the same carpet at a less expensive price,. EDWARDS will probably get our business, because WE didnt care for the salespersons at two other stores. SERVICE COUNTS,, AND OWEN GAVE US BETTER SERVICE, and was more personable.
Absolutely 100% would recommend them to any and everyone!!! My husband and I were looking for carpet for our sons nursery we were going to go with Lowes and just have a contractor come out and install carpet but after being forgotten about for 30 minutes in the flooring department when we asked for help we decided to give Edwards a shot and Im so glad we did. When we went into lowes we were trying to keep a specific budget because they charge you for every little thing but at Edwards I honestly didnt care if we went over budget because they took such good care of us. We did end up going with a much nicer carpet (its our first child and we want the nursery to be as nice as possible) so after picking out carpet that we wanted we paid a deposit and they said the person who measures would be in touch with us to set up a time to come measure. He called us by the time we had gotten home and set up a day and time that worked well for us. Very accommodating. So all that was left to do was wait for the carpet to be installed. Day of installation comes and we get a phone call and the guys ask if they can come early to install Im thinking HECK YES because who else hates sitting around more waiting for people to come work on their house? They showed up and had our carpet installed in about an hour maybe 90 minutes super quick and easy they guys who came to install the carpet were super nice and funny told us we could ask any questions and even watch them install the carpet if we want. These guys were fast and efficient nice and outgoing and tidy I love that I didnt have a huge mess to clean up after they were done plus this carpet feels like heaven on my bare feet Im so happy we went with it and I couldnt be more pleased with our experience at all thank you to everyone who was involved in our process were very satisfied and we will be back for sure!!!
Hopefully Im not getting anyone into trouble... I had been looking for an area rug pad and wasnt finding anything I liked at the home improvement stores so I went in intending to buy just a regular piece of carpet pad. After telling the guy what I wanted he says yeah I have what you need, cut a piece, placed it in the trunk of my car and says, call us if you ever need any flooring - no charge. Thats how you do business because I will be calling them for sure.
We just had our carpet installed this past week. Everyone we came in contact with was very professional, polite, and hardworking. We love the carpet we went with and they did a great job installing. Couldnt ask for anything more. So glad we didnt go with lowes!!
Owen was friendly, helpful and impressed us with his knowledge.
Great selections.
