I have a Gravely walk behind that I took in for service. The experience was one of the worst customer experience results. I brought the mower in for service to repair an axle. I dropped the mower off and they lost the key and tried to get another key to work in the ignition and chewed up the ignition in the process. The owner told me that I brought the ignition in like that and accused me of dishonesty. In addition, they had trouble getting the wheel off to get the axle on and painted the wheel silver and not Gravely grey because they ran out of paint. When I got the mower home, I noticed the axle was not lined up correctly and the brake was not working. One day later, the Wheel was flat. Obviously, very unprofessional service and very unethical. I would recommend to NEVER go to this place for service.

Plenty of excuses to not get things done but no results, took 3 months to get tiller fixed and had to take it back a second time for 30more days. lots of excuses but NO RESULTS

Wow, I offer a great recommendation. I called on Monday, they picked up the lawn mower on Tuesday morning and returned it Tuesday evening with a maintenance, and worked on a transmission issue for me. Great communications, no surprises and reasonable/convenient for the West County area. Highly Recommend!

When I started my business 20+ yrs ago mowing estates,business I had the hardest time getting quality work done on my machines.I live in a rural area about 35 minutes from A&M Lawn Equipment.When i finally had a chance to use him,oh God hes gonna be high around this expensive side of townNope! Michael has been there for me since and has my stuff done pronto.Very fair and reliable.He also has a crack team always ready to unload or answer your questions if he isnt there.I will not use anyone else for my expensive tractor.Thanks Mike.

My mother brought her mower in and was charged 80 bucks for a starter. Wouldnt start. Then tried selling her a 500 dollar part to get it fixed. We brought the mower to another shop. Spent 30 dollars on a part and it now runs like new. Owner of this shop tried to take advantage of my mother.

Decent supply of parts with quality lawn and garden equipment.

The guy who runs this place is awesome. I knew nothing about mowers and brought it in to have it fixed. Long story short I was using bad gas so I kept breaking it and had to bring it in another two times. Each time he took the time to explain what he thought was the problem, even took me in back to educate me on proper care. He didnt charge me those second, he just wanted me to know how to take better care of the mower.Great experience, cant recommend this place enough.

Worst ever! Brought in my tiller to be repaired, and it came back broken and in pieces. Owner began yelling at me about keeping social distance while Im standing 8 feet away. Told me, sorry couldnt fix it but offered no explanation why he couldnt repair the items he broke on it. Bad place.

I have never felt compelled to provide a review, however my dealings with A & M Lawn Equipment have spurred me to write my first review ever. I will try to keep my review to strictly facts and avoid injecting personal feelings into the review so you can best decide if you would like to conduct business with A&M. I went to A&M for service on a push mower. They cleaned the carburetor and replaced the air filter; basically a generic tune-up. They charged me $144, $127.50 of which was for labor. In addition, they sharpened my blades for another $10 which was an unauthorized procedure, and never confirmed with me. In fact, they did not confirm any service procedures or prices with me before initiating work on the mower. I have attached a receipt for proof of charges.[edit: wont save the image to the review for some reason] (Hint: you can get the same work done for HALF the price at basically anywhere else in the area, with better customer service: giving you a call before initiating work, friendlier customer service etc.) Just do some basic research and find someone with more fair prices and wont take advantage of you.

Did a complete tune up on lawnmower--plug, oil change, sharpen blade, etc. Was very pleased with their service.

I spoke to the owner and he said to bring my mower in and he would have it done the next day. He quoted me a price and I brought the mower in. It was done the next day as promised and they even loaded it on my truck. Its great to get excellent service by honest people.

They had my riding mower 10 days. Said they replaced the starter but another shop told me the starter was bad. Mike showed me how to get the wheel in a sweet spot to start it. Worked once. Charged me 50$ more than quoted. But he did try to sell me a new lawn tractor for 2800$. No Thanks. Disappointed.

Had a spring service done and randomly a week later my rider would not start. Owner came himself with replacement battery and tested it in my driveway so I would not have to bring it back in. Just a fluke dead battery. Would and will recommend - quality service.

This is the best place around to buy lawn equipment and have service done! Gravely is the best brand out there and the red max line is awesome too!

This place just popped up for me to review. Says I was here 8 MONTHS AGO.. GOOGLE people, I dont remember being here. Ill look the place up. Maybe it is closer to home than the company I do business with.
