I have never been shocked by a bill, as they always let us know ahead of time what they recommend and what our options are. Their pricing is extremely fair. They are prompt and always perform their work in a timely manner. Whether it is our work truck or personal vehicles, knowing they take care of our vehicles with precision and efficiency, as if he was putting his own family in it at the end of the day is a peace of mind!

After years of chasing the first available appointment or the lowest cost for car repairs and maintenance, I switched to K&B because they were good fellas and close to home. Am very glad I did. Honest, high quality work that keeps you on the road without the long list of should do items that so many places hit you with.

Bad experience. They have had their own techs write good reviews about them. They do not tell you how much they will charge you ( and its more than other honest mechanics) and they take 2+ weeks to fix. I made an appointment, brought my car in, they had me pick it up next day, not fixed, but with a $100 charge for looking at it, and the option to make another appointment to get it fixed. They did not tell me that I would need two appointments and that it would take so long. The staff was very rude and did not care that I was left stranded with out a working car.

Fantastic to deal with, always get me in as soon as they can and they do fantastic meticulous work. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs work done. Our family takes all our vehicles to them and have never had an issue. When it was time for me to get in my first truck Brett made sure it was safe for a first driver as if it was for his own son. I’ll never take my vehicles anywhere else.

I cannot say enough about the business and the owners. They would do anything to help you out. We drove almost two hours to get vehicles looked at or worked on. Caring compassionate people. I highly recommend K & B Automotive!!!!

Weve taken all of our vehicles to K & B for years, have always had exceptional service and have been treated with the utmost respect. Ive even bought 2 brand new cars which came with free 2-yr maintenance service from Toyota, but chose to take them to K & B instead for all of their service. We were recommended this garage years ago for a kooky issue no one else could diagnose and we have faithfully used them ever since. Big or small, they are always helpful and fair. Whenever anyone asks, we always recommend these guys.

Top notch shop, very knowledgeable techs. Had a dodge Dakota break down near Ellsworth after slight panic of not knowing many people in that area I was sent to K&B (for the best around Id go here). Long story short Brett took the truck in after hours knowing my situation (I run a business escorting oversized loads all over the us, needed to move a boat the next day). After some short wiring diagnostic he found and corrected the issue. If youre at all familiar with mechanic work wiring can be the worst.(unless you know what youre doing). I live in Monmouth about 2hrs away and with bigger automotive issues with any of my 8 cars they go here. Also my dually goes every year for fluid film its still the cleanest 08 youll find in new England. I believe in your reputation being everything and Id easily send anyone to them that wants quality job done. If youre looking for cheap just piece mail this together until next week.. you might want to find a different shop.

I have been a regular customer of K&B Auto since Bretts Mom and Dad started the business many years ago. Having retired a few years ago, I now have a small lawn care business. I also am an avid outdoorsman with ATVs and snowmobile toys. K&B takes care of all my repair and maintenace needs; everything from sleds to ATVs to riding lawnmowers and farm tractor and, of course, mine and my wifes automobiles. I like the personal touch when Im there and have never had an issue. The quality of this business service is unmatched in the area.

We cant say enough good things about them. When we were stranded, they set aside other work to get to our broken motor home that same day. We were able to get our family back into our motor home for that night, and we know they stayed late and worked hard to make it happen. Truly amazing people!

Terrible service. I was there when they ganged up on that lady and she left crying. Felt it was handled very poorly. I also like how they cant find anyone that has anything bad to say about them, obviously in this small town, they are not using their real name.

I am from out of Town and asked around for recommendations when I had an issue with my 2011 Jeep JK. It had an electrical issue that caused a PCU failure and was missing on 2 cylinders. I had done my home mechanics job of replacing obvious parts before realizing I was over my head. They quickly diagnosed my issue and repaired the problem for me for WAY LESS than I had anticipated. I then went back to them a few weeks later to do some custom suspension work and fabrication (New shock tower and lower mounts for coilovers, Hydraulic Assist steering ram and pump system, New HD Tie rod & Drag link, etc. I was EXTREMELY impressed with their attention to detail and to work around my needs. I am extremely picky and I cant say enough about their attention to detail and fair rates for the work. Highly recommended, expect a little wait as they are booked up for a reason.

Took my car in as it was making a weird noise.Heard mixed reviews around town. They had me pick it up next day and make a new appointment to get it fixed? Their estimate was very high. What disappointed me the most was how they talked about all other honest mechanics. They must be hacks if they dont charge $90 an hour. Its like fine art; they charge a lot for it not because they are so great, but so they only have to sell one painting.They charge twice as much, as to do half the work. Which is their right, but I will taking my business elsewhere.

I am very disappointed with their service. I called and made an appointment to have my car fixed as it was making a faint noise. I was not concerned, and didnt mind waiting 2 WEEKS for my appointment. I called them that day and was told what was needed to be fixed and to come and pick up my car. They had me come and pick up my car to pay $90/hour for the estimate and then make, yet another appointment in 2 WEEKS to have it fixed. When I expressed my shock, that I wasnt told that I would be paying for an estimate upfront ( which they must legally to)or that my car ( which according to them, was unsafe to drive) wouldnt be done for another 2 weeks, I was showed the door and my appointment was canceled. They also commented that a lot of people never come back, and after one interaction with their manager, I can see why.

Left crying, they left me stranded and had no compassion.Very rude. ONly nice to high paying customers. I read other reviews, living in town, these are all their friends they have asked to leave reviews. Since family changed ownership, hasnt been the same.

Ive worked with K&B for a few years now, and theyve never disappointed. Theyve always been friendly, honest and professional. You really cant beat that.

Wanted to have a steering box, idler, and pitman arm put on my truck because it was unsafe to drive. I normally do my own work, but I just replaced 4 shocks, catalytic converter, and exhaust headers and was willing to pay to have someone else do this. I had the parts but they refused to use parts I purchased. Customers save a lot of money buying their own parts. Saddens me to see a local shop only care about $$$ and not customers. $90 an hour labor is quite fair when you use book time to determine what customers pay not actual time.The parts I purchased were MOOG and AC Delco. OEM and a very reputable preferred brand by many customers. Because I am a customer does not mean I would select sub par parts at the possible expense of my or my family’s safety.

I brought our church van in and found K&B to be both professional and fair. I dont think my experience was unusual for them. Nice people doing a fine job.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. very expensive and they dont have a sign to tell you how much they charge an hour. They did not tell me that charge for an estimate, even when I was going to have them fix me car. It was $90 just to look at it. Took them 2 weeks to fix.

Bait and switch. Made an appointment, only to be told that I would need to wait 2.5 weeks for them to fix it. Since, I could not wait that long, I had to find another mechanic, they charged for 90/hour to just look at my car. I ended up paying for an estimate twice. She also showed no compassion that I couldnt drive my car and needed it fixed ASAP, just show me the money.
