Very pleasant experience and very nice variety of pet supplies. I went here to get a lovely little blue parakeet two months ago. She is a doll! The lady I spoke to made sure we had everything we needed before bringing our new baby home. Do recommend to others, especially other bird owners who need supplies for their birds.

I am enrolled in a rewards program where you receive a free bag of dog food every 12 bags. They used to have a punch card to keep track of this, but switched to an online system some time ago. Between my partner and I, we were told we were on our 11th bag on 4 separate occasions. On the fourth time, my partner confronted them and they denied. When I went in today, about 2 months after this confrontation, I was told I was on my 5th bag. If you think this is happening to you, it probably is. Crystal Clear Family Pets has comparable prices and also has a free bag every 12 bags program.

Always helpful and friendly. Beautiful and well cared for fish and well stocked shelves, they always have what I am looking for. The dog park next to the building is also a plus!

Got a kick out of some of there catnip toys but far as birds and fish and reptiles go not much to pick from, but dog leashes and harnesses were a fair price, just everything else was a little pricey as far as dog and cat food goes and toys

This place is amazing!As soon as I walked in the door. The employees immediately recognize you. They will ask if you need help with finding anything and help you in a timely fashion.Well stocked and have lots of options.Their adoption and pets are well taken care of, as well as their environment(cages, tanks ect)Theyre are very patient and listen to your needs and questions.I highly recommend coming here for you needs.I have a bearded dragon and just moved to Maine and was in need of crickets and they helped me get them as soon as possible.

Very nice pet shop, first time I bought from there was on Sunday. I was greeted by a smile and was helped as soon as they were done with the other customer. On Sunday I went in looking for some freshwater angelfish and some other fish, half expecting not to find any, but to my surprise they not only had all the fish I was looking for but also gouramis, oscars, and more exotic fish. I might be going to see if I can get some dwarf gouramis this weekend, it also helps that they quarantine their fish and always have what I am looking for.

Friendly staff. They have a wide variety of products and are super helpful. They can be expensive, but what quality product isnt? I recommend the smaller mom and pop type shops over the larger corporations any day.

Absolutely amazing! They are so helpful! I love going here to get my chinchilla and fish tank supplies. They were very helpful with helping me get my first fish tank in years going. All the clerks are very nice and they even replaced a fish for FREE! Prices are a little high but very worth it!They also take very good care of all the animals they have!I recommend going here for your new pet(s) or supplies for your pet(s)

Stopped by here for some fish supplies since I was in the area. Walking in. I was surprised by the large amount of product they have as well as how knowledgeable the employees were. I will be coming back here for all my pet supplies going forward.

Was there last week, place was easy to find huge parking space and people running the place was very knowledgeable about what they sell. the prices are better than most place in town. 5 stars!

Seemed to have more aquarium-related products and salt/freshwater species which is my interest than other local pet store.

I have been going to Maine Pet for a long time now, and Im very happy with them. The prices are always lower than the other places, and the people there are always friendly and helpful. They have always gone above and beyond to help me get what I need even if they have to order it.

I had bought two dwarf Gouramis there and I have always loved this store but them I brought hem home they seemed lithargic in the bag and had some fin rot. They seem near death. Might not be getting Gouramis from there again. But, still loved the large selection of pet supplies and the good prices.
