I have an L.L. Bean in the mall near my house... But nothing better than going to this outlet in Ellsworth... Great discounts, and an equally great staff.

I always leave the store with something unique. We went there to get a 🎒 and found a embroidered tote bag with our last name initial on it. My son was happy to find it and It fits his style plus it was on sale. It was a win win win for all.

Nice well lit store but if youre looking for a big selection head down to Freeport and hit their flagship store for a huge selection and a unique experience.

The Walmart of outdoor clothing makers is on full display at this local outlet. Limited selection, canvas totes in a canoe, and the standard water bottle display. I suppose it’s an outlet so by definition doesn’t have all sizes, but you’re best suited to shop here if you’re big and tall, or have tiny arms and a large torso. Anyway - not worth the drive from Bar Harbor, stay at home and shop online instead.

They were having a sale, and I bought some nice ankle boots for walking the dog. Service was not great.

Lots of experience stuff on sale. Gloves all made in China right on front of label dont even try to hide it anymore. Im surprised L L Bean doesnt find good quality stuff made elsewhere especially for the price.

Busy place didnt find what I wanted but did get a few things. Not a cheep place but great quality clothing. Worth a visit but keep in mind the items change from week to week and it a popular place so it might be crowded

Disappointed I only found socks that were made in the USA! No flannel shirts or anything made in the USA!

Bean is reliably Bean. The material goods are wholesome and sensible. The socks are smart. The jackets guaranteed to do the job. This outlet store had many items on 30% off sale. Their catalog s are infamous! This is Maine and Bean generously underwrites the Acadia National Park buses and other endeavors so I have nothing but admiration for them. Maine-ly wonderful!

LLBean seemed premium clothing shop with nice collections a decade ago. Now it is unable to differentiate itself..

If you like LL Bean style, their outlet stores are the best. I have bought all of my coats there (the best down coats), all kinds of tops, pants and sundry other things. And if you can catch an item on sale (50, 60, 70% off)...WOW what a deal. I shop mostly at their Ellsworth outlet, didnt care for the Bangor store.

Great prices of irregular and returned items, including dog beds, sheets, towels, games, and of course, equipment and clothes. Smaller than I expected, but worth checking out!

Been here a few times, as we live nearby. We recently moved from a warmed clime, and it is great to be able to just grab an item we need for our outdoor adventures here. Staff has always been helpful and friendly. Definitely don’t have everything all the time, so peek in for stuff you really want early in the season.

Prices werent that much better dor.an outlet store. Better off at the local LLBean shops shopping sales.

This LL Bean outlet store was packed with closeout bargains. The staff were friendly and helpful. Worth the stop if youre on your way to Bar Harbor.

We came from out of town and were quite excited to check out an L.L.Bean store for the first time.We were disappointed. The store itself is nothing special. Not a unique experience at all. Just a bunch of L.L. Bean items thrown in a room roughly organized.The discounts were just ok. Nothing spectacular. They were very similar to the ones offered online.We bought two items at 30% off.

Discount prices on merchandise. Some of it is surplus, some returned. Certain items will already be monogrammed. But it is the same quality, not inferior products manufactured for the outlet like some chains offer. There are fitting rooms for men and women. A good way to stock up on LL Beans quality merchandise at a discount.

Not really worth it. Max discounts are 20 to 30 percent off list price.

This particular outlet has more outdoorsy big gear like car racks, stoves, skis, ect than the Bangor outlet, and its worth the trip every time. Friendly and informative staff and dog friendly venue.

Theres currently a 35 person limit in the store. We stopped by here @ 12 pm on a rainy day and there was a long line. It was better later in the day. I wish the store had more morris so you could see how things look on you.

Lits of parking outside this very well stocked outlet. They always have good deals. Social distancing was well respected and everyone was wearing masks.

Wonderful store, great selection, if you love the outdoors is your place. Want to bring the dog no problem they are welcome too. If you go to Acadia national park there is a shuttle service there that is sponsored by L. L. Bean. You can ride for free. No parking issues. See what you want and do not have to drive. Propane powered buses easy on the environment. Without help from the amazing people at L. L. Bean this would probably be expensive. If you really love the outdoors, why not by from the people who are trying to help it. The folks in the fly shop at the store were very helpful. Overall great place. Thank you

Cant beat the prices or the quality. Their clearance shoes are the best deals but most everything is at least 30% off. Very large selection too.

40% off most products in the store. Duck boots were $60. Staff was friendly and helpful!

Its hit or miss finding things for my children here. Otherwise never had any problems shopping here.
