Wow! You need to go here... beer, beer, and more beer... (ton of wine and hard liquor)... Guys behind the counter were super knowledgeable and friendly.

Helpful staff but limited selection. At the risk of sounding obnoxious, when asked if they have / stock Cabernet Franc they did not know what I was taking about. They were super helpful, both guys helped me search and were very nice, but we came up empty and confused. So you win some and you lose some. Great place for a case of beer or quick bottle of wine, but not “Global” as advertised.

Great selection of craft for the region, but almost nothing as a single/tall boy. In my travels around the country and planet I find this quite unusual. If you want to grab just one good beer, select minimarts are a better choice.

Fun place with lots of selection

Super helpful staff. I am not very knowledgeable about liquor and I had a list of items to pick up for the bar at work. The gentleman walked through the store with me selecting each item as I read it off the list. He knew the store well and didnt hesitate once; just headed straight for each one.

This is one of the coolest places I visit for alcohol their bloody Mary mix is phenomenal prices are really reasonable also you havent been there you must stop in on your way to Bar Harbor

Its a good store. But they really need to be more conscious about updating their hours online (since that is how a lot of us get our information). Google said they were open today (xmas) so I drove out there and they were closed. Not the end of the world, but disappointing. Other than that, I have no complaints.

They have a really great selection, and the people are always so friendly and helpful.They’re also one of the only two places in the area that carry my boyfriend’s favorite beer, Leffe. The other place that carries it is way more expensive, and even though it’s closer, I’d rather make the trip to Ellsworth and go to Global Beverage.I hope you guys consider selling 12 packs of Einstein by Baxter Brewing Co. They’re my favorite and the Somesville One Stop sadly just stopped carrying them.

Great store with an excellent selection. The staff is always friendly and willing to answer any questions you may have. If what are looking for is not in stock the staff will do everything they can to order it (still depends on the distributors selling it)

Great selection of beer and Liquor both Local and nationally distributed selection. Liquor selection is perfect everything you need, nothing you dont. If youre in the area its the best stop you can make. (and it shares parking lot with great meat and seafood place)

Knowledgeable staff help you find the wine beer or cheese for you. Huge wine selection and a smaller room with some local and craft beer. Great cheese selection staff will make suggestions and give samples if you ask. Great place to stop by!

Prime example of Millennials in the workplace this used to be a good liquor store being in that it is the only official liquor liquor store in Ellsworth the staff used to know their products have a vast knowledge be willing and helpful now it is a staff of useless mouthy non knowledgeable punks walking around the store rapping profane songs in front of elderly patrons swearing Like Pirates at a bar and acting completely immature and foolish the manager Im assuming some woman completely snoppy I was in there for a good bottle of cognac after her attitude I decided to check out with my wine and not return if you strive to be a successful business it starts with compassionate knowledgeable understanding employees if you dont have that you dont have anything that place needs eight total staff overhaul until then wont be returning

I always stop at Global Beverage when we visit Surry, Ellsworth, Acadia. Great selection, friendly staff. Found some great Maine beers, cider and enough Allens Coffee Brandy to take down a moose!

Checkout staff was rude. Prices were equal to if not more expensive than the local grocery store. Tried to buy a case of blueberry soda, but that proved inconvenient for the clerk. I will not return. Instead, I found the product at the brewery in Bar Hard.

Great place to find a great selection of beers and booze

Went in to try and find a specific beer and they were out. That wasn’t the problem, though. The young man that waited on me was rude and dismissive. He was also chewing food with his mouth open. The store lost a sale due to his behavior as I was planning on buying other products but I didn’t care for his attitude.
