I called ahead of time to ask some questions about the foods they offered since I couldn’t find a menu online. The woman answered all my questions and even told me about the daily lunch special! When I got there, I let them know I called earlier and she remembered me and fixed my plate. Had no problem subbing extra vegetables instead of the rice.The place was clean and food was delicious.The curry goat is spicy while the ox tail is slightly sweet. The peas and rice are great but I love the cabbage the most!

Such a blessing to have this place nearby! Its a notch above the rest because the food is consistently fresh, never oily or dry or overly salty, but tender and seasoned with actual fresh herbs! My absolute favorite treat for a lazy weekend morning is some ackee or callaloo with salt fish and steamed root vegetables and a carrot ginger juice, but I also like the lunch which always comes early on UberEats. The actual restaurant is immaculately clean and orderly, making this a very trustworthy option for regular takeout for those of us who cant cook daily.

Listen, if you’re the craving good Jamaican food you have to check this restaurant out. I used to live nearby and would frequent the restaurant quite often for authentic Jamaican food. I’m Jamaican and I’m very selective of the Jamaican restaurants I visit. The food here is consistently good and fresh. The people who work at the restaurant are pleasant. Never had a bad experience yet.

This place is great. I have never been disappointed except when they are out of something. The jerk chicken as well as all the other staples have deep delicious flavor. Highly recommended.

The food is great. I enjoy the porridge especially however one of the ladies have a major attitude problem. She shouldnt deal with customers at all. First impressions are lasting ones and for that I gave 4 stars instead of 5.

Employees are rude as hell. Ordered food on Grubhub and they cancelled it after they accepted the order and told me they had nothing I ordered meanwhile they had served people the same things I ordered. Lady told me that the app has everything unavailable and when I showed her it doesn’t she continued to argue. Will never order again due to employee incompetence.

If you are looking for a large dinner that could at minimum serve two adults this is not the place to go. One large meal offers 2 drumsticks and a thigh for 13.00. Times are two hard to spend 13.00 on a large meal that feeds one person. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. You have completely lost my buisness. Ive tasted better rice and peas also. You guys got a 1 from me.

Carribean restaurants are haunted by the stigma of having some of the most terrible customer service.... NOT SO for the friendly faces of yard flavors... the food is absolutely delicious consistently, and the staff is always friendly. Any time Im nearby and am eager for some affordable, Good quality food, theyre my 1st choice.My hands down favorite dish is their stew peas on Wednesdays, but if you have a taste for something else, they have one of the best tasting oxtail for miles. My only issue is that if you get their too late, a lot of the best dishes are done :(.

I am now a convert. I used UberEats and my regular resturant was delving so I Went with Yard House becuase their delivery time was reasonable. The food was so tasty and just the right spice. The Jerk and Curry chicken was extra flavorful. Will be driving there in the future for takeout.

I’ve only tried their curry goat, jerk chicken, brown stew chicken and their oxtail. I didn’t care for their brown stew chicken, but everything else is okay. Personally I prefer Yardies on Elmont Rd., however I only go to Yard Flavors because it’s a few minutes walking distance from my job. Store is small, yet always clean. Workers are not so pleasant. I don’t think I’ve ever had a good customer service experience there. There’s no, “Hi, how are you?” Instead they say “who’s next?” and take your order. Unless your a frequent customer, don’t expect to get treated like a VIP. I honestly don’t care for the lady with the red braids, her vibe is unpleasant and she got a nasty attitude. Won’t be returning here.

Excellent jamaican spot in Nassau county. Plate was filled to the brim. The flavors were some of the best I’ve had outside of the carribean. My favorite is the curry goat, but the curry shrimp was also excellent. This is a small takeout with limited seating, only 3 tables, but worth the visit. I would highly recommend if you’re looking for jamaican takeout. Would visit again. Staff was super friendly. Thank you.

Had ackee and saltfish for breakfast. Food was delicious and not soaked in oil like Ive seen other at places. The service was friendly and professional unlike the other Jamaican restaurants around. I wish they had some beres playing in the background while I enjoyed my food. Id gladly drive past those other local spots with bad customer service to get some yard flavors for me and the family.

The rasta pasta was super oily every bite had chicken fat... the pepper shrimp was smelly and not deveined. I couldnt even eat any of it. The rice and peas had no taste not going again but the plantainz was sweet👍
