Hello older bitter woman who works in the donation center with the tattoos that thinks she is “virtuous” because you think you can preach to me on wearing a mask instead of just telling me to put the bags of clothes in the donation bin & be on my way, guess what. You’re not. Check yourself. Mask mandate lifted, fully vaccinated, and have antibodies. Goodwill, do better.

Its close to home and the prices are good. They have a lot of eclectic things, clothes and chockeeys...

I wish the fitting room was open. I also liked it better when they sorted by size, even to just separate plus size from regular.

I went to this store for the first time. I was very impressed at the organization, staff, how clean it is. I use to go to the one in Paramus until it closed. The new one in Hackensack is a complete disaster, no organization it all, it is like a free for all, they could had done a better job for such a massive store, awful. Will continue to go to Elmwood Park, 1000 times better.

They are closed on Tuesdays when Goodwill Dad work says they should be open. Please fix your hours.

The prices are ridiculously high .you get better bargains shopping at the mall for new clothes.

Regardless of the point of view of some many people. The Goodwill store is a very decent, meet all the cleansing protocols,(I personally love the smell when I walk in) I know it might sound crazy. But conclusión its a lovely store with decent prices. Only thing I would appreciate it if they could arrange clothes by sizes a litte better all because Im a plus size. And its hard . But highly recommended store 👌

Very expensive, you cant do return and also you cant get money back!!! And now with the pandemic all the items very expensive and you cant try the clothes on, and even though you cant return them and get money back......... ohhhh!!! PLEASE, CHANGE YOURSales policy, YOU are SALING DONATIONS!!!!

The staff is very nice and hard working! You literally step into the store and there are so many gems!! You can’t use the bathroom but they let you know that the dollar tree bathroom is open! They had a sale on clothing with a purple tag!! Would recommend to everyone! Please be nice to the workers and patient! Thank You Elmwood goodwill for such a lovely experience!! 💕💕

It is not good that they do not allow the use of the bathrooms, there are those of us who bring children or older adults.

Great finds. Prices are higher than other Goodwill stores. Overall, I found great items, I wasnt looking for. Staff are friendly, especially if you are a regular. Now with Covid-19, no returns.Ironically, they accept hand me down items, but no returns? Go figure!

What an awesome donation place. The people who work there are very friendly and helpful unlike the one in Paramus Rt 17. They are also very organized. Thank you guys for being so friendly :).

Very nice and clean store. Not that large. Not much selection of electronics or appliances. LOTS of clothes. Ample parking. Worth the visit!

Back in time (before C-10) I liked this store but now everything is a mess. I mean t-shirts all sizes mixed, pants with dresses... If you are planning to go there, be prepared to spend a lot of time trying to find some stuff for you. I know things changed, but come on...

I called ahead to ascertain operating hours and donation parameters, then gathered the items and made a special trip to donate when it would have been easier to throw away the stuff, only to be told upon arrival that donations are only accepted between 9AM and 2PM and to return the next morning. When a facility tells you this and they arent paying for the items or your time to travel, that is a special kind of insult. Idgaf about pandemics or not updating your phone menus, Goodwill should gladly accept donations regardless of when they are brought as there be many peeps in need who could use good pre-owned clothing and stuff. I waz even going to buy from here, but not now after this piss-poor experience. Really, who tf tells generous people to take they stuff and come back the next day???? That takes a special kind of s**thole company policy.

I was at this location a month ago to drop off. I have never been in a actual goodwill store. I decided to take a look. Store was Organized and clean staff was very friendly as well.I was there for 3 hours looking and trying on. I bought 6 tops for 16.00. Great deals and brand names and specially it fit my BUDGET. I will definitely visit the store again.

I went in there to purchase a jacket. I am here from Florida and got stuck in a cold spell. There was a rack in the store that had two prices topcoats $19.95 and a short coats $16.95 they charged me $42.95. When I Pointed out that the sale price clearly states the aforementioned prices the woman at the counter argued with me and embarrassed me and said no the price on the jacket is the price of the jacket.. “do you want it or not?!”I then called and asked for the manager and was told two things, Call Christine tomorrow and then another manager on Thursday. This place is a joke. I understand it’s for a good cause but don’t rip people off; somebody gave you this jacket for nothing.Very upset I will never donate a dime to this organization

We travel every Saturday from NY to come to this store, AWESOME. I have found so many pair of shoes, and coats.The staff is so polite, helpful, and always makes themselves available for questions.The manager keeps everyone of his staff members busy.we have stopped going to a lot of the other stores because we can find mostly what we want here.Bravo to John the manager (I hope that is his name). I hope he gets to read this and he will know I am the lady that always asks him about a certain bag.

Terrible workers and customer service . I went to return a printer that didn’t work and the manager was rude about it, we asked for store credit and he said no . Workers were inconsiderate to the amount of money we spent . Do not recommend .

My daughter and her friend are on a thrift kick so we have been visiting quite a few thrift and consignments. This particular one seemed orderly, clean and big selection. Not sure why clothes are arranged by color vs size...i think they do that at all the goodwills. strange.

It’s getting cleaner at the store but nothing is in there anymore! Same things pushed on different shelf’s. Prices are getting higher ! Definitely not the same store from couple years ago. What’s happening with all the things that people are donating?....??

Wow what a clean place it was. I usually donate things to the one in Paramus, but its a bit far for me, so I tried this one for the first time and the donation center was super clean!!! I havent entered the store yet so idk how it is there, but I am satisfied with my experience.

It’s a very good store just because men’s section. Other than the bad thing about this store is all the women’s tops are mixed. Sweaters, activewear, blouses are all mixed up and if you’re looking for activewear, you have to see the whole rack to be able to find somethinf good. Totally time wasting. I hope managers see this post.

Very rude guy who takes donations

I love thrift shopping. This has been the most overpriced thrift store or Goodwill Ive ever been too. The lowest price for a used cup or plate (even plastic), was $2.99. These items are normally 25 cents cents to 50 cents at other thrift stores. Like actually a used Maple syrup bottle (with the label removed), was expensive, that item should actually be in the garbage. Bad condition in general of items and OVERPRICED to such a ridiculous degree.

A lot of clothes and some nick-nacks but nothing special. Smaller store that looks new on the outside but has a strong mothball smell inside.

A magic 8 ball sets the prices here but they have decent stuff.

Frequently sells broken items, once returned for being broken they repackage it and sell it to another unsuspecting sucker. Since you can only return for store credit it is a lucrative scam. Reprehensible behavior that.

This is the most overpriced Goodwill Ive ever been to. Whoever is in charge of pricing thinks they can charge more than eBay prices for used items. Board games and toys (ex: simon says) are sometimes as high as $25.
