Amazing experience. Went to buy a light to go over my computer desk and wasnt sure what to look for. An older gentleman (didnt catch his name) asked if I needed help and was very knowledgeable and patient with my questions. He was also very kind and personable. He helped me sort through a few options that I wouldnt have even considered if he hadnt shown them to me and Im very happy with my purchase.

I love the choices in plants and flowers here. Anything I need for my home I can find here at a reasonable price. I wish there was a way to check out at both entrances to the building instead of just the one end. Having to go from one end of the store to the other just to check out is a bummer.

Kevin in plumbing was very helpful by being able to cut my electrical conduit so it would fit in my car!

Remodeling or just quick fixer jobs I rely on Home depot and they have what I need.

Parked by the garden center to pick up another shrub. As I walked towards the gate to pay for my purchase, the girl with long black hair basically closed the gate in my face and told me to walk around. I am disabled and your rude, lazy, employee made my trip pretty painful for my back and legs. Thanks for nothing, again, ELYRIA Home depot.

Plumbing dept. Ask the “I’ve been doing plumbing for 30 years” type of guy for the short pieces of precut 4” PVC the bin is empty.Answer. Sorry I’m out.Me. Can you cut some.Him. No. We don’t have the tools.I thought it was a joke.First off. Does it even get tiring of telling everyone how long you’ve been doing plumbing? Seriously, ever?2nd. I’m pretty sure you have the tools.It’s not that you can’t, it’s that you won’t. If you really don’t want to help people stay home.

Great for anything but plants. The English lavender I bought were already half dead. I did not return them because I knew they would not let me, finding some way to say it was my fault. So I potted them hoping to keep them, but out of the 7 I bought, Ive already lost 2.

Do not purchase a lawn mower at home Depot. They dont even honor their warranties. Guest services did not help the situation and repair desk they give you the runaround.

Worst customer service in the appliance section. Waited 3 weeks for a stove that was the wrong one when delivered, they didnt even unbox it. The only response well we can take it back and then you can wait on another one! Will be shopping at lowes from now on

They ran out of large Halloween decorations before October 5th

Aisles in lumber department were loaded with stock, could not get cart close to treated lumber needed. Had to walk length of treated lumber aisle to load my stock onto cart. Check out lady was rude. This store was taken care of and had very helpful associates at one time. Worth the less aggravation to travel further to the Avon Ohio store.

Hello everyone! Well, I climbed around the stacks of wood like a hungry monkey looking for a banana! Thought I was going to break my neck! Employees walked by, no ladder, no forklift, nothing. Go to North Olmsted. At least theyll dial 911 after you fall!

Found what I wanted, with great ideas from Home Depot and the section it was in.

Found everything I needed ok. Had a nice selection to choose from.

Love Home Depot. Workers could Definitely use much needed improvement. However it seems that workers everywhere are becoming more and more worthless. 🙁

This location is the best Home Depot! Went in to buy appliances. Bob was extremely helpful, kind, courteous and professional! He took the time to answer all of our questions. He was very patient and made us feel like valuable customers. I haven’t experienced customer service like this in a while. Will definitely be coming to this location for all my needs! Thank you Bob!

What can go wrong? Except spending going in for just one thing and walking out with a cart full of items that you needed. Clean and good customer service.

Got the last 30 inch wall cabinet. It had no box but the two employees were able to coordinate from one end of the store to the other the price very quickly making my checkout easy and fast.

The associates are always happy to help you. They keep the store clean. I definitely would give this store 10 stars!

We usually go here because its closer. I like the garden shop the best.

I was able to get nothing for 2 out of the three projects I was getting items for. Hard to say if they were out, dont carry the items or if they were hiding. Home depot used to be full of helpful knowledgeable employees. Its hard to get an employee to help you if they have no idea what you are talking about. They just wanted to wander the aisles, umm I already did that thats why I went to an employee for assistance 😒. I will seriously try to never come back to this store if I can help it.

Found everything I needed and had all my questions answered. You would be surprised how fast you can get assistance while youre trying to start a chainsaw in the store.

Customer service representative was not so knowledgeable because she usually didnt work in that department, but very kind. We found the plants we needed with a smile.

I prefer to shop at Lowes. I have had several Home Depot employees be extremely rude to me. I have found this only at the Elyria, Ohio location. I have shared these experiences with family and friends and they have had them experiences. As far as products, I was able to get some of the items I needed.

The store usually have what ever I need for my home and the prices are good.

Came in the day before Mother’s Day to buy my mother some gardening tools. Needed assistance locating an item so my niece and I stood in the customer service line for assistance. Their were two employees behind the counters, one on the phone and one possibly in the middle of a task. There were employees coming and going. We must have stood their for at least 15 minutes, and I am not being dramatic. Even a customer looked at us and said “wow you guys have been standing their for a long time...”. I even made eye contact with the employees. No employees acknowledge us, and we were passed multiple times. I work in customer service. It literally takes no time to acknowledge a customer and see what they need. Unacceptable. Rude.

I understand keeping track of costumers during this time, but when there’s 3 employees standing outside and it’s not clear which doors are the main entrance, so I’m looking around trying to figure it out and not one employee offered help. So after being irritated from looking for the main entrance, I go through a door I see of what looked like to be a customer walking out of. I walk through these doors into the store and a middle aged lady employee asked if I came in through the doors I seen the customer walk out of. I replied yes. She then told me I had to walk in through the main entrance because they were keeping count. She wasn’t friendly about it either. I was upset after walking passed 3 employees who were already outside. did not mention where to enter the store after I was obviously looking trying to find a way. So now a 4th employee tells me I have walk back outside to the main entrance. RIDICULOUS. Horrible customer service. Will be returning to this Home Depot.

If it were possible to give less than 1 my experience last night would be a negative number for this location. First, 0 lumber carts are available because online orders take precedent. Second after pulling my own lumber I waited for someone for cutting; however, the young man working in lumber decided he should talk with his friends instead of working. In addition his mask did a good job of keeping his neck warm, but not sure it prevented anything. Third, multiple associates walked past me without ever offering assistance. Finally, after 15 minutes an assistant manager offered help and the cut was completed in less than 5 minutes. Checkout was another experience as I had to listen to an associate wonder what type of rodent was in her yard.I have been a customer of this home depot since the day it opened and cannot believe how far it has sunk. Leadership needs to get this staff in shape or another Elyria business will be closed.

Your classic big box hardware store and more. they carry just about everything u can imagine might be needed to maintain or repair a home. Id like to congratulate the folks on the floor for their pleasant demeanor and expertise, I could buy a screwdriver or some light bulbs almost anywhere, good people will earn and keep my business everytime!
