Quoted me one thing got there and paid more than double what I was quoted. This also happened to a buddy of mine before me. I should have listened. The quoted was originally 45 bucks to pressure test and deck a head. They went ahead and did that and more without asking me and then tells me I have to pay it. I recommend you go the extra mile to someone else who won’t rob you.

Great machine shop. Jim is very knowledgeable about what he does and is nice enough to explain exactly what hes doing as he works on something. He even took me through his shop and showed me all the machines and how they work, explained camshaft, valve and airflow theory to me in a way that is easier to understand for the average person. Anyway he built a set of gt40 heads for my mustang build and after I finally finished building the engine and got to drive the car everything performed flawless. I got a competition valve job and pocket porting done on the heads and I picked up gobs of power over my stock setup. Im sure he got everything he could out of those production iron heads. Expensive, but worth the money.

Theyve been around for decades and Ive only ever heard good things about them.

I have been using them for years, High dollar jobs and low budget jobs. Mr. Write (Jim) has all ways sat me down and went over each step of his craft that he would be doing to each of my customers engines.He has an A+++++ staff working for him as well. Helps me un load and load up once all the work is completed. And he stands behind his work. That is what keeps me coming back. And if you need your rod worked on, He has a staff that will even remove and install your new engine in your rod. Once more, he is a good man for all your rod needs!
