Amazing selection of different ice cream and food. Very long wait time and one of the workers was young and rude when calling the orders. He even told someone that the ice/slushie machine was malfunctioning so it was more syrup than ice and handed it to them and walked away. To me thats rude and unacceptable

Great local ice cream place that we bike up to. Friendly staff, excellent chocolate malts! You can also get hot dogs, fries, and burgers. They hire local youths to run the shop and are an Elyria mainstay.

Completely obsessed! Have been for years. I always want to try something new, but the raspberry rapture or their dole whip are my go-tos. Yes, you read that right...they have dole whip people! They usually feature a different flavor every week, but the traditional pineapple is the best imo. My kids love it to. Everyone Ive encountered there is friendly, and we visit often during the season. Such a rare find these days, especially when most of the staff is in their teens. Best ice cream place in Elyria!

A staple of Summer in the area. If you grew up here, you know how wonderful their ice cream is. But they have so much more! Lots of hot foods including their weekly special. But the classic ice cream cone is why I always come back. Credit to their management, they are doing a great job with social distancing & all employees are wearing a mask. And yes, they accept credit/debit in addition to cash.

Best Ice cream in town.

I havent been here in a long while & I realized tonight why. I like a creamier soft serve. While they make a great- sized cone, it dripped, dripped, dripped and that was a little annoying. Three stars for the music piped to customers outside.

We love Twist-n-Shake! Ice cream and food are all delicious and service is pretty fast for a little place! ;) The staff are all friendly and their 50s weekend is the best part of summer here. Great place! We highly recommend trying any of the weekly specials! Great value and super delicious! Everything you expect from a great mom and pop ice cream place! :)

Great ice cream. It was tough to decide what to choose because everything looked good. The employees were polite and gave suggestions which helped me decide what to get.

I love going to twist n shake. It has alot of variety. If you follow them on Facebook, you can see new icecream and yogurt flavors. You can customize your order at a little extra cost. They also sometimes sell pints of yogurt and icecream that they have extra of.

I love twist-n-shake!! It is such a great local ice cream shop!! The prices are reasonable, the employees are amazing, friendly, kind and very helpful!! The menu seems to be growing more and more and to top it off they offer deal of the days/weeks and also have special themed weekends.. They sponsor local youth sports teams and can be found walking in any parade around Elyria!! I highly recommend checking them out!!

Outdoor seating was large and clean. I had a turtle sundae that was yummy! Lots of toppings. My daughter got the hot fudge mint sundae served in a clear parfait glass. When im back in town I will have to give that one a try!

They have good icecream, sherbet, milkshakes and other cold treats. The food I have had from here (Mostly fast food type stuff.) wasnt super amazing but was still pretty good. Sometimes they will send food and icecream out in a weird order but its usually fine.Be aware that they do change the current sherbet flavor somewhat frequently, but most of the flavors are pretty good.

Best ice cream stand in Elyria maybe even in all of Lorain county. The twisters are the real deal they make them every which way with whatever ingredients your heart desires mixed in. Recently theyve added a rotating flavor of soft serve ice cream, weve seen orange, lime, and watermelon so far. My new favorite thing though has to be the Cookie monster sundae its the bomb dont pass it up

Excellent.I think they have more ice cream and shake flavors than anyone in Ohio.Its a small Mom and Pop business.They make burgers,hot dogs and everything else.I love their chili foot longs.High school kids do the work and its great experience for them,they are polite and hard working.You wont be sorry stopping here!

I love this place, we go almost every week. I give it 4 stars cause i wish it was open later. Hard to have time to get dinner and then rush there to get ice cream before it closes. (5 stars now because I stand corrected. Plenty of time to get ice cream :) )

True to its roots, theres only outdoor seating, but they serve well into the cold months with plenty of buisness coming for their hot menu items. Good old fashioned small sliding window service! Complete with teeny boppers to take your order. You have to love it.
