Well, they talk a good game. You have to become an expert at installing your equipment in order to make sure the Geek Squad can do it, otherwise they get to your house (after 2wk. wait) and tell you why they cant. I had asked about rumors that the store was being closed and was assured they werent. Guess what? At least they were good about my full refund
Bought a TV from my aunt. This is after a Black Friday. But they still have a great selection. Was able to find what she needed and the staff help me in and out. They even helped me get the TV into my car. Very easy transaction.
Recently purchased the new Modern Warfare game for PS4 as a gift, along with two phone cases. Total came to more than expected, but just went with it due to not knowing anything about games or how much they cost. Never checked the receipt due to assuming I paid for what I purchased. Ended up buying the wrong size phone case, and needed to exchange it. Upon locating the receipt I saw that I was charged an additional $49.99 for a 12 month PS4 membership. The cashier never once asked me if I wanted that, I didn’t even know what it was. Went to return said items and was told they can’t do anything about the membership, and I need to call PlayStation. That’s fine, I have no problem with that. However I’m highly disappointed in there being no acknowledgement that an associate took advantage of me clearly knowing nothing about video games and tacked on an extra $49.99. Maybe a manager could have made an appearance and assured they would take care of the issue. Highly disappointed.
So, I walked into Best Buy on Sunday and was pleasantly surprised by a employee named Zane. He walked up to me and asked if I need any help I told him I did and I told him what I was looking for and He knew exactly what it was and where it was. Overall I was in and out within 5 minutes, I’m very happy with the service I received. I recommend if you’re going to Best Buy to make your way to Elyria and go to this one!
The people were really nice but the store is closing in a few weeks so it wasnt fully stocked and impossible to give it a five star under such circumstances. I dont blame Best buy at all because that mall where its located at is a mess. So its not meant to be a rating of Best buy overall, just that particular store
Went in for an air fryer the guy that helped me was awesome. Answered my questions, cashed me out, n explained how the emailed receipt process works. Very helpful and a great attitude. Wish I remembered his name.. great service!!
Excellent the store personnel treated us like we were family the manager Vinnie and sales representative Shelby was very helpful and knowledgeable they understood our situation and helped us tremendously. My wife and I will definitely return to this store because of both of them. We went there to purchase a washer ended up buying a microwave and a stove along with the washer.
They screwed me over on a buy one get one note 9 last sept. Im still trying to get them to make it right. The manager ghosted me and apparently didnt tell the new manager. This was the only issue I have had there and if it wasnt for that, I would have given them at least 4 stars. So its not all terrible and you will probably have a decent shopping experience.
This best buy location has been the saving grace of the Midway Mall area. The customer service is consistently good. They always have some decent sales. Open box prices are fantastic. The store is always clean and organized. Ive never had any issues here over the last 20 years.
They do price compare, so dont settle on the price thats marked. Do your homework.But if youre lucky, the salesman will look up prices for you. (I did check prices while he stepped away, but it was great to see him go the extra mile!!!)

This place will be closing down soon Midway Mall location. They said the beginning of March. Nothing was Mark down just yet. Best Buy offers Progressive leasing on the entire store.
We were very grateful to Jordan for his assistance in an area we are lacking. He was extremely knowledgeable and did not hesitate to share information. He made us feel comfortable in choosing Roku devices (replacing cable), provided extensive information to help us set it up. Regarding a previous question regarding showcasing what is available at Best Buy: We would have left without any purchase if it was not for Jordan stopping to help & provide detailed explanations when he realized we needed help with what we were hoping to accomplish.

Not good. No laptops where in inventory.The guy in computers said that the laptop that I wanted wouldnt be shipped to my home no later than 2 weeks.I could have gone online and got one faster.Why did he think that I drove all the way out there for? To wait 2 weeks? Smh.
The store itself is good, usually has what I need. The regular employees are a little too pushy. However, the cell phone arent and the employees in that area are top notch. They always listen, are very helpful, not pushy at all, and hello you find the best deal for your carrier. Ill go here for there cell phone area over anywhere else.
I purchased an expensive laptop for work/school purposes. The unit had a few options that required it was ordered and shipped to store for geek squad to complete setup. I received 3 emails telling me I had 3 days to pick it up. When I arrived for pickup, the unit was in a sealed box with no setup completed on it. I was then advised it would take several hours to finish, and I could come back. I advise them I would not be able to return until 5-7 days later. I received 7 notices between emails and phone calls that my item was ready for pickup, starting hours after this ... even though they were told I would not be in for approximately a week. When I arrived at the customer service desk, the rep was very rude and told me even though I had the pickup slip that I must present ID or she would not release my equipment. The manager was equally uncooperative and unhelpful in resolving my concerns stating any Joe Blow could have my paperwork. I dont believe that to be appropriate language for a manager. This whole experience has been very disheartening, as I usually am happy with Best Buy products. So far the product is good, but the customer service at this point lacked extensively. My salesperson and my Geek Squad representative were very helpful but customer service and management were less than desirable.
This Best Buy is like many others, except with more of a local, friendly style to help really set a tone of professionalism while also being laid back. Of course some items, prices are high, but some are also really cheap. As well, it is a lot of fun to just walk around, or play the demo games on displays.
My sales associate wasnt very motivated. I inquired about an open box camera lens that they had. He wouldnt answer my questions nor did he seem interested in making a deal to bundle this with other items that I was purchasing. This is not the level of service Ive come to expect at Best buy when inquiring about open box items... Usually I get a really good deal and leave happy, at least at other locations.Their loss not mine I ended up buying one item instead of several.

Anthony in the printer section kept asking me if I needed help finding anything, so I finally just gave in and followed him to the bathroom and we made out for 10 minutes. He hasnt called my number since however, and I dont feel like going back with how much ink costs these days.
Very well-stocked meaning a variety of all types of electronics and accessories. Restroom available. Appliances sold there. Very knowledgeable staff and Friendly easy to see from Road. Plenty of parking handicap parking also and handicap accessibility a junction to the Midway Mall for additional shopping. pricing is good price matching is done in this location.
Went to the phone desk. I spent four hours. Working on my dumb phone Trying to figure out tap to speak Google. The gentleman at the desk spent a little time and all he did was clear out message cache and Google cache Great job.
So disappointed! The Midway Mall location is closing March 7th. Mall owners opted to not renew their lease. We now have to go to Avon, Great Northern Mall or Strongsville
Came to store to get a CP that could operate 4 screens, the sales associated was awesome, before pointing me to a product he took his time and set me up with everything i needed. I highly recommend ibuypower, no lag and its fast

Variety of electronics, they do price matching for major online retailer which I think is a great way to get people to buy from physical stores.
Two associates working in the store. One of whom was obviously more experienced. Both working on one customer while a line formed. The female associate then complained about her co workers in front of us. Completely unprofessional and completely avoidable. Hope they treat the next customers more respectfully.

Had surfed through their website for a tabletop TV antenna, but was confused by the variety. The stores staff helped clear that up and were able to steer me to the version I needed. It works as they said it would and that convinces me to come back whenever I have similar problems.

The Geek Squad has always been very helpful for me. Im not one who knows how to repair a problem on my lap top and they dont make me feel stupid. The assistants in the store have always been very helpful finding what I need, like the proper ink I need, etc. Im really hoping they dont shut down the store I use as I have heard some Best Buys stores will be closing.
Both Jordan and the general manager were very helpful. The day before I went over everything to figure out what I should buy and I was recommended a wonderful tv within my price range! Plus I was on the fence over tv stands and after sleeping on it I got the cheaper one. They were very helpful and thorough! I cant wait for my next visit!

The guys that helped us purchase our TV last night went above and beyond customer service. Brandon, Tony and Jason were knowledgeable about their products, walked us through the new technology service program and explained everything. They told us we were priority and really followed through by staying a little late to make sure we had no questions. When entering they make you feel at home. Everyone is so nice and helpful. We have had only one time that it was hard to find someone to help us and that was because the store was very busy that day.

The Walmart of electronics. Theyve improved there game and Im glad that they are still surviving today. A bit pricey and some locations need to get rid of the bad apples employees.

There returns are the worst I dealt with. Instantly they take your money from the debit card when purchasing. When I return a item it takes up to a week to get refund on debit card. Smh. No more shopping at Best Buys for me.
I will not be shopping at Best buy again. I called to check the status of a laptop I left with the geek squad for repair and received the worst customer service that I have ever received. First, I was hung up on 3 times. After I checked the status of my repair with the automated service, I wanted to speak with some at the store to get further detail. Three consecutive time I was hung up on by the automated service while I waited to speak with someone at the store. After that horrible experience, I called the corporate customer service line and received more poor customer service.When I finally reached a person to talk to, the customer rep seemed more confused than anything else, so I requested to speak with a supervisor. I was then placed on hold for 40 minutes of silence while I waited to speak with a supervisor.When I finally reached a supervisor, she did help me find more information about my laptop. But she was very dismissive about my complaint and seemed more interested in getting me off the phone.What should have been a 15 minute conversation took 2 hours.After thIs experience and several other bad customer experiences, my wife and I have decided we will no longer be shopping at Best Buy...not that they seem to care!

Best Buy is one of my go to stores for an enjoyable time. Everything in my house as far as electronics comes from Best Buy. They have tried hard to make their stores more appealing this past decade for the consumer and you are no longer badgered by good meaning youngsters working there. The prices are competitive and the knowledge base of their employees is excellent, but I would suggest to do your own research before buying, as its easy to buy more than you really need at times. lolThe Avon store is my own store and in knowing most employees by sight, I can be assured of a great shopping experience each and everytime.

Horrible Customer Service. Went from a GeekSquad member to never returning again within one weeks time. SANDUSKY store sold me a watch for the 3rd time to pick up at Elyria...said it would be ready. Half hour later in Elyria the order is for a reason noone knows cancelled. For a 4th time. Worst corporate policy ever...it doesnt apply to any one store, each store makes their own policies and then you cant actually communicate from store to store. Worst time Christmas shopping ever.

Best Buy is a great place to buy electronics, games, movies, and appliances. I was viewing a section of appliances that may have some flaw (scratch, dent, etc.) Price significantly less and all items had to be returned within 14days.
