This store has gone completely down hill in a matter of weeks. Can’t keep anything in stock & only have one cashier on and the rest are self checkout. I used to love this store & now it’s been nothing but a miserable experience each time. Very sad. Bring your cashiers back at the very least!! They are why I keep coming back!!! Remove them & I have no loyalty to this store.
They have a history of running out of popular items and NEVER restocking them, not rotating stock, I found items exspired for two to three years. Yesterday I bought perogies that were freezer burnt. They also have a bad habit of leaving refrigurated items in the isles too long to the point were they get too warm or thaw out. I bought more than once iceream that melted and refroze I ended up throwing it out. If giant was closer to home I would shop there more often.
The fogelsville weis is really good to visit for shopping the employees are very nice and they talk with you and ask you All the time if you need help to find anything they are not talking amongst themselves they are always working you can always find an employee on the floor
Great local grocery store with most average things you would need in a great Emmaus location. They dont have everything, but the store is relatively clean with a fantastic, fresh bakery.
I think Weis Markets made a big mistake by installing mostly self service check outs. Grant you we were there at a busy time. There are two full service check outs, only one operating. All the self service and extra new ones installed had long lines of complaining customers. I felt sorry for older people with a few items.
Clean. No one at bakery but a gentleman said np Ill help. Needed a fancy cupcake for a birthday.
Outdated products on shelf if products on shelf at all! Empty or outdated products!!! Go to Giant.....youll be taken care of much better!
I am from Coopersburg and we lost our Weis store 2 years ago. I stopped in to Weis on Chestnut Street and it was great !! They carry many things I can only find at Weis. Very helpful staff and shelves are stocked. Fresh produce and excellent bakery.
Emmaus store is very well stocked and employees are nice and helpful. Friday specials hit the mark and they are getting better at more vegan items. A bit pricier than Giant or Redners but still, all in all a fine little grocer.
Weis has excellent food! Always fresh, always good prices!
Good place to go shop
The new store is great. Wide aisles. Good variety.
I love this place, both as a customer and a former employee. I really like that I can go to the pharmacy and they dont have to look up my account number, they just say hi Andy. Best part of a small town
Its your neighborly grocery store if you like to run into some people you havent seen in a while other than that its clean little pricey
Staff is always both helpful and knowledgeable. Im very glad that this store is close to my home
May have limited choices but a nicely kept store and staff has always been nice.
Top shelves are too high for short people like me. But the store is getting laced in their cleaning
I used to not like this place unless I had to buy something and didnt feel traveling. I now like it here. Prices seem somewhat better and workers a lot more friendly and professional than in the past. I like their hoagies. I go here now more than Walmart. A lot fresher too.
They removed half the registers a while ago for self checks. JunkSo many things are out of stock when I go. The selection at this store is lacking to begin with. Now apparently the phone number driven club card isnt good enough, now I need the app too?I hate weis. The employees at this store are always nice and helpful, I have nothing against the workers. Im just sick of weis and I want a new store in EmmausRedners doesnt require a club card. Weis requires multiple.Hate Weis.
This is my favorite neighborhood store. Best casher is Cailin.
Fruit goes to bad and compared to Giant the prices arent that great.
AC was on full-blast. Nearly froze.
While in store for a Covid vaccine, I met the nicest and most helpful worker in the health products aisle that Ive ever encountered in a supermarket.
Quick and easy. They do the best they can keeping store shelves stocked and with variety. It works for us as a good neighborhood grocery.
Very expensive low quality food
Staff is friendly and helpful, and the store generally has everything Im looking for.
I go to Weis cause I always find what I need they always have very good sales my dog food is always available cuz hes very picky and the cashier are very cordial
Good seafood selection
Two days before Christmas, the store was crowded as expected and yet I had 2 amazingly friendly and helpful encounters with staff, first in the deli department and then at the self check-out. Both women were proactive and cheerful, prompting me to write my first google review ever!
Clean well marked isles and friendly staff.
Was there a few weeks ago to buy some brownies for my daughter who had a bad day at her online school. The cashier Adam, at first was very friendly. We talked about how much we loved the Cowboys. Then we got into the covid talk, and he told me he tested positive a few days ago, but he had to remain at work because he had ‘bills to pay’. I told him to keep my stuff and walked out of there immediately, and then went to giant. Will not be returning ever again.
Good parking with multiple entrances including a traffic light at the corner. Had all the CV-19 sanitation stations with all customers and staff wearing masks. Well organized, friendly and helpful service. Quick check out with both self service and checkers.
Nice store, cheaper than Giant since Giant raised their prices recently. Seems like I spend less money here. Only thing I don’t like is that you must buy a certain quantity of some items to get the sale price. I don’t need extras of certain things.
Shelves are always stocked and they always have high quality meats
Found what I needed. Aisles adds clear and clean. Staff very friendly.
You can find some good discounts in the meat department, but at the same time you can also notice when certain meat specials are advertised as buy one get one free they have doubled the original price. The workers are friendly and helpful. Tip- when pok loins are on sale have the butcher cut into center cuts..you just saved .
Close to me. Usually have what l need including flowers, lottery TX, and beer/wine.
Havent been at this store in a long time. Excellent sales this week. Actually got everything I needed and some tasty treats I didnt need but they are tasty. Their pumpkin pies are excellent. Get em fresh.
Always smells weird in there but has what I need
Weis is really good just alittle expensive but its whatever nice place
This is a small store and seems to be smaller due to crowded aisle.
Can’t keep anything stocked on shelves .
Bill in seafood was really nice today. The Hobart machine skipped the label so he had to redo the wrapping. He was so nice and didnt even roll his eyes when he had to redo it. That was really nice of him....I would have never stayed so calm. Thanks again!
The prices on many of the items we looked at were much higher than other grocery stores in the area. Same brands, same products, what makes them so special? Yes, I did spend about $70 on some items I needed. That doesnt mean Ill shop there again.
I love my Weis market because of the meat department. Aside from amazing cuts and deals, Kieth is a rare gem of an employee who goes out of his way to help me and others. Whether custom cuts, cooking tips or filling in for the seafood department, Keith is there when he sees a need. Produce is also very good. Used to go to Valley Farms for fresh produce. Im happy to find freshness every day at Weis. The Best!!!
Read product prices carefully they sometimes trick you watch your sales receipts prices are always listed but not always right. They have good prices on bulk Donuts but the individual donut prices $0.79 a piece way too much.
The best meat in town if you know what I mean
Great service.
Your self-serve check out wouldnt take my coupon. It instructed to scan the coupon after I pressed check out and pay, than instructed me press the return spot to scan the coupon, than refused the coupon and instructed me to check out and pay.... May times over, so I walked away.
In a pinch, they are close and convenient. Most of the staff are very nice and helpful but more than a couple are in a daze and have to be approached for help. Prices are decent and store is clean. Bakery is good and produce is well stocked with regulars and some organics. They even have some appliances, outdoor furniture and I even bought my child a low priced wooden wagon here. Just shy of 5 stars.
Loved shopping here every Sunday up until I moved!
Well organized and encouraging social distancing
Great supermarket, everything you would expect out of such a place. And the prices are not outrages. I can feel good about grocery shopping here.
I shop at Weis, Walmart & Giant, but the 3 stores are very different. Walmart is closer to home yet poorly staffed & poorly stocked. Weis & Giant are both clean, prices are a bit higher so you need to look for sales & know your prices. Even though prices may be higher at Weis & Giant both have fully stocked shelves, plenty of staff, & an excellent choice of fruits, veggies, meats & organic foods. Using the Weis customer card allows you to access all of the weekly sales & accrue points for cheaper gas. Nice store!
Great store!
Love the cashiers!
Great selection and well laid out store. Reasonably priced too. Signed me up for a coupon and was very friendly and attentive. They have anything you could possibly need for your home, and fridge. Love the quality as well.
Every time I come here thinking they’ll have what I need, I’m disappointed. From simple things such as fresh blueberries to ground pork, you will always have that 2-3 things on your list you’re going to have to leave out. Better luck going to the Giant nearby.
Great sales. Fresh produce. And I just got a free Turkey. 😁
Nice store, quiet small town.
A nice place to shop
Weis is just okay as a grocery store. The produce section often leaves much to be desired quality wise, and always check the dates on everything perishable. Convenience is the main reasons I shop here so often.
Good prices, close to home
Love it close to home
Its always clean n the staff is is on point
Nice store...Ive always thought Weis markets needed a look update. Always boring looking..sad, full shopping experience. Other stores have jazzed up, have samples, happier shopping.
Love it
They didnt yell as I sat outside for a couple hours trying to replace the stuck calipers in my vehicle so they get a pass for the over priced fruits and such
The store Shelves are well stockedI can always find what I needThe stores clean and well maintained. The workers are friendly and helpful
The meat department has much better quality than either Cedar Crest location. Great deli selections! (Love the buffalo wings cheddar slices!!!) Excellent customer service!
The clerk had just about finished ringing up my order when I realized I left my wallet in my car. I ran out to get it, the clerk suspended my bill and took the next customer, I came back in with my credit card, paid for my order, and everything went smoothly without a hitch. Great customer service!
Weis is a great place for good choices. They have more of the Pennsylvania Dutch foods that I grew up with. You cant get a lot of these foods or brands in many other chain stores.
Staff is very polite and helpful in this crazy time as always.
This is not my local Weis. Its on my way from and to work. I stop there every so often. Today was the second time I stop for the pharmacy. WOW!!!! on customer service. Thank you so so much.
This is a smaller store but they are doing a great job serving this area. Typical of Weis over other chains, the staff is noted as always nice. Never been disappointed.
Decent local grocery store. Location is the only reason I go occasionally. Poor fruit and vegetable choices. Nothing is ever ripe. Prices are high for the quality.
WONDERFUL STAFF and GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I have been shopping here for over a decade and recently have begun to notice that the quality of the fruits and vegetables suck!!! In Weiss quest to update the store has lost its old fashioned charm. Products are gone that I loved and this whole, ritzy organic marketing ploy really sucks. If I wanted my way of shopping to change Id go to a farmers market. Im thinking about changing where I shop
Easy to shop. In and out...
Produce is disappointing. Fruit especially is not rotated properly. I have brought home rotten fruit many times. Once was waiting at customer service to return a box of Cuties. The whole second row was blue with mold. Soon I heard laughter to my rear, and there in line was another woman return a similar box. When you are paying top dollar you deserve the best. I dont believe Weis checks produce entering its store. I wish Wegmans was closer.
It will do in a pinch
This is our favorite Weis.
Could have better deals. Not too bad
As a supermarket it was clean, well stocked and organized. Good prices on coffee, creamer, and cups (I was there to pick these items up).
Pretty good for a Weis. Well stocked most of thrle time. Certainly not Wegmans, but it will do.
They did it to me again..thought I got a bargain with chicken legs for soup...terrible. Old chicken and my soup was ruined. What is wrong with this manager? Also, fruits are not rotated as they should be. How do you keep your job? I have had it. Will go to Wegmans. You lost a good customer. Shame on this store.
Good grocery store. Ok service.
Love this place!!! is it open till midnight!!! Great prices with the rewards card or key ring card!!! I like most the meats of this supermarket are very clean less water and well prepared!!!
Very nice staff and good products
Good selection of food, the store made fried chicken is wonderful!
My fav. Not big. Not fancy. Plenty of choices and friendly. Now it is end of December, 2020;Produce staff assured me the watermelon is great. Theyre been eating them. WOW! When I cut the $6 one I bought it was almost burgundy color and shriveled. It must have been ripe back in August. It is a regular challenge lately to like this store.
Some shelves are poorly stocked. I used to enjoy shopping there for years. Lately...not so much!
Bought chicken wings from the hot bar and they were raw inside. Also bought two beef roasts for Christmas dinner and one of them had a white hair in the meat! Not a good experience for me
Quality and food selection is very good. Pricing is reasonable. Courteous and friendly employees.
Way to cold. Had my hold on and could have used gloves
Great for last minute shopping. A bit more expensive than Aldi or Walmart but great for those emergency items!
I enjoy shopping there.Prices are reasonable. Most stores are clean, with clean restroom1
Very clean good quality food
Its ok for quick and convenience, but you must pay attention to what you buy . Check dates and fruit and veggies before buying.
Nice store locally but some of the staff just stand around and talk to each other and dont offer to help. Need better customer service. Wish it was 24 hours as well.
