One of the BEST experiences I’ve had in Idaho!!! I live in Arizona and came here for some turkey with the family. Can’t say enough great things about Russell. Never felt any pressure. Never felt rushed. Asked questions and got answers. Polite and very knowledgeable. It seems at times almost impossible to find good people these days. Wouldnt hurt to call ahead to ensure he is open, the best way for him to get to know products is hands on, so you may find him off testing the items so he can give all the information about the product to the potential buyer! He is eager to assist anyone that comes through his doors, be it a young teen starting their fishing adventures or the old timers that frequent his shop to discuss the latest gun topics. Staying open for 10 years in a small town says more than any review ever could. He is loved by many!

The owner was very helpful when a friend and I came into his pawn shop. Great display of guns, ammo and fishing supplies. Russell the owner brought out some jewelry for us to look at. Both my friend and I purchased some of the jewelry for a fair price. Nice clean business.

Good dude, I brought in a rod for repair on my lunch break. He had it fixed that afternoon so I didn’t miss out using one of my favorite rods.It’s always good to talk fishing with him either in his shop or out on the river as I troll by.

The guy lives in his shop with no shower. Was very rude when I went in and apparently acquires ammo from other retailers such as Lake Chelan Ace Hardware and from people trying to return ammo at Sportsmen’s and then resells it. Also sells used guns that he knows misfires and/or jams. He went down by the river to shoot these guns and said they didn’t work right but he thought maybe they’d be okay with different bullets. I would not buy a weapon for personal protection from this store. I’m not okay with a gun jamming or misfiring. Often does not open the store on time, leaves early or the place is closed in the middle of the day. No lies. 100% truth.

Went here to buy a fly rod qnd reel. The man running the store was extremely helpful and didnt rush me into any decisions. I got done ringing up and he went under his counter and brought out a box full of flys and gave them to me on the house. Would definitely visit again but I am a tourist

Really good shop with great customer service and knowledge. Not a huge store but thats understandable giving how hard the small business market is in Emmett. I prefer to buy from a small business. Just picked up a 13 Fishing rod and reel and an hour later hit a 4lb. Largemouth. Best thing is just going in and being able to bs about the local fishing as I restock tackle. Cant do that at a chain store and have it feel like your neighborhood shop.
