Ok so here it is. I had a winding noise in my car and took it to a mechanic for a diagnosis. They said it was the pulley tentioner assembly. So I hired a mechanic to put it in and went to Napa Auto Parts in Encinitas to get the part. It was $280.00... I asked (Kevin on the receipt) if I could return it if it turns out not to be the problem. (If it was under a hundred bucks I wouldnt have even asked) But it was almost 300 bucks and if it wasnt the problem then thats a good chunk of cash to waste on something I didnt even need. Well Kevin said no. Once it goes on the car it can not be returned. Well I needed it so I bought it anyway. Next day I dropped my car off at mechanic and a couple hours later got a call. Mechanic said it was not the problem. The noise is still there. That was 2weeks ago. Bottom line is that I went to another Napa today to get something else and asked about their return policy and they said that I can totally return it even if it was installed. As long as its not damaged and I have the receipt. It turns out that Kevin gets commission on these sales and obviously got a pretty good chunk on my sale. So much that its going to cost the ENCINITAS BRANCH OF NAPA AUTO PARTS A good customer and maybe more customers if anyone else reads this. Because that was a blatant lie for the personal financial gain of a trusted vendor at the expense of a paying customer. If you need to do business with napa then consider going to another branch because my experience at the other store was incredible and I will always be loyal to anyone that helps people out instead of ripping them off.Kevin, Your young and it shows. Grow up dude.

Gave a friend a ride to pick up a part and suddenly my radiator hose began to leak. IN THE PARKING LOT! The guys at NAPA were awesome. Helped out with couple tools they carried a special antifreeze for my classic Benz. Distilled water was priced at a buck! We fixed the hose, picked up part and away we went down the yellow brick road. Thank you for being helpful and just human. Hard to find these days...

Wow I very fairly meet a team who is both entheusiam about their job and intolerable about the materials. Not only did they save me the trips back to the store but they also saved me a large sum of money in materials based on their experience with breaks herrings and tools. Supper effort and skill and experience. If you have the need and dont care about the extra mile or two go here they will see to it that your parts needs are accurately met.

Forget going to your dealership for parts! unless youre somebody that has to have the name brand part for your name brand car, Napa is where you want to go! With knowledgeable staff and a high selection of Auto Parts in their catalog you can find pretty much anything youre going to need for an auto repair whether youre doing it yourself or not! I went in there just today to get a couple of headlight bulbs that I had called about and they have them waiting for me already and had me in and out within 5 minutes.

Went in because I get emails from Napa and was looking for a couple things that are on sale. Two staff members (who didnt seem like they were doing much of anything) just said thats in aisle 1. I asked about why the items werent on sale like the email stated. They responded with only saying that they were not a participating store and that they thought the items were on sale the other day. Any bit of customer service would have made a difference but since I didnt get any from this non participating store I will not be back.

Basic parts counter with most things needed for cars.

I visited Napa this morning after placing an online order for pickup. When I arrived, the price was 10% higher than the price quoted online. I should have cancelled the order but I am from out of town and desperately needed the parts. Buyer beware.
