Ive been going here for years. Always speedy service at a great price. They have an outdoor seating area for those who dont want to wait indoors.

I have taken two cars here. Not only are they cheaper than the other local option (I called ahead to compare prices before deciding to go here), they are fast and its easy to schedule an appointment. Plus you have the added bonus of having the main Encinitas strip one block away so you can go grab a snack or just walk around while you wait for your car.

This place is exactly what I needed. They were fast, affordable, and very friendly. I was met by someone to help as soon as I drove up and it was still a few minutes before they opened. Definitely coming back here again. I highly recommend Encinitas Smog Center if you need a smog certificate. Cant say enough good things about this operation.

More expensive than competition but great service and I was in and out in under 30 minutes. My time was worth not driving to Carlsbad or Oceanside.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE ! My 2006 Nissan 350Z was due for its registration renewal which meant I had to get it smog tested...it had been 2 years since the last one. My 350Z is in perfect order as I have owned it since new.....only 33,000 miles on the clock so no problem getting it done. I phoned these guys early this morning and Ken said I could bring it in this afternoon....gave me a few time options and 1pm suited me. I got in here a bit early and gave some details to Ken in the office. He said about 30 minutes no prob. With everyone wearing masks I decided to stick around so I sat on an outdoor chair socially distanced from a couple of other chairs under a canopy. The work was completed in the promised time and I paid Ken $48.20 by credit card. Good job !

I took too cars one a 2006 and 2012 and with suggestions before I got the 2006 smogged a lot easier than the info from a different smog station! Highly recommend and very good customer service!

Been here a couple times and always very efficient and friendly. It’s my go to smog place and I recommend it to everyone. Walk to the beach and relax for 20 min until your car done 💛

Technician Jeff is terrific. He spoke with me on the phone before I took my car in and gave me some helpful advice. He then serviced my car the next day. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Owner Alex is also friendly and honest. Best place for smog check. I have been going here for many years.

Its a smog test only center, and they got it done, by appointment, super fast and for a reasonable $55 for a Jeep Wrangler. Its a bit hidden, but its easily accessible from the freeway or anywhere in Encinitas. If your looking for quick service at a fair price in North County, this is your place.

Ive had my car smogged here for nearly 20 years. Honest, dependable and helpful. The new location is great. More parking and shade if you choose to wait on site, easy walking to several local restaurants and coffee houses if you dont.

The service here is great. I was able to get an appointment to get my car smog fed here the same day. The nice lady who does the smog also has a great collection of Bonsai trees.

Have brought cars to them for 20 years. Very good staff, the owner is very nice and honest, and the staff has been there a very long time. Would highly recommend going nowhere else for a smog.

I been coming to this smog center for years since way back in 2007 when it was in the old location. They are absolutely the best in my local Encinitas neighborhood.

I recommend smog check center strongly. Very nice people. Nathon, was very helpful when I called first before I get to their store. They took me last minutes in the evening without having appointment. Nathon even offered they would take me even 20 minutes before closing their shop. So, very friendly and respectful place.

It was 5pm and all the smog check places were closed everywhere I looked except here! The guys were great, quick, and efficient. Had me out of there in 15 minutes! Couldnt have asked for more!

Ive been going to these guys for over 27 years ever since I was in high school at San Dieguito. We bring all of our company vehicles to them. I also bring my personal vehicles to them and I live in Hemet, Ca.

Theres a profetinal shop. the 2 guys in the front are exelents. and they explaing to you in a good wae. i was with that shop for 8 years.

FANTASTIC SERVICE ! After my regular go to smog check place closed for renovations I needed to find a reliable one closer to home.I looked up Google recommended smog check centers and came up with a few options.I phoned these guys 2nd on my list and a guy named Ken answered the phone.He was very helpful by offering me a coupon reduced final price and suggested I could get it done today if I made an appointment....which I did for 2.30pm.When I arrived a guy called Nathan (Kens brother) booked me in.He was right on the ball ...took my DMV rego renewal notice and confirmed the final price I had been quoted earlier.Only 20 minutes later I returned and my Nissan 350Z was all ready to go.I paid Nathan with my credit card and he assured me the smog check results would be electronically sent to the DMV. Im a very happy customer and can rest assured that my 2006 model 350Z can get its required smog check every 2 years at a reputable place and for a very fair price.
