I had a pair of Ray Ban Aviators that got slightly damaged while playing beach volleyball. I’m forever thankful George and Kellie mentioned the protection plan because I’ve made my money back in full! It’s been at least 3 times they need fixing, (dropped once with broken lens, sat on, and now beach volleyball) and every time they are like new when I get them back. Friendly employees always willing to help and give great input with the products. Will not go anywhere else

George and Dr. E were both fantastic - very knowledgeable, efficient, patient and not pushy. A very seamless experience. Would highly recommend.

Wait??! What?!?! Only 5 stars?!?! George Hinsdale (and the Encinitas crew) deserve way more than 5 stars!! George went above and beyond fixing my glasses that I repeatedly fall asleep wearing while watching TV!! He was kind, professional, sweet and understanding. Thank you, George! I’ll be back when I get those cataracts fixed!

Dr. Esfandiari is an excellent optometrist. He recognized an issue immediately with my daughter & made an life changing referral. My daughter’s specialist discharged her back to Dr. Esfandiari to continue her care. Our whole family sees Dr. Esfandiari.George is simply the best optician. Provides the best care/service. He knows his lenses & the best fitting!

He and all the other employees were so kind and helpful. If I ever need glasses I will be sure to go to this location! I highly recommend.

I appreciated the patience exhibited for my detailed questions and the thoughtful professional clear responses by optometrist Dr. J. Richardson. Also, I appreciated the assistance provided by Ms. Karmoen in selecting a suitable frame. Her explanations provided full detail on the lens options being offered and a breakdown of prices beyond my insurance coverage. Her patience and interest were genuine.

George H., the Optician was knowledgeable, efficient and very helpful every step of the process leading to the eye exam with the Optometrist. The Optometrist was also a 5 but I spent much less time with her. George helped me select the frames from many choices. If I had a business I would hire George.

My glasses kept slipping down my nose but with Covid, I kept putting off getting them adjusted.Went in this morning to LensCrafters and a wonderful person named Isabella quickly and confidently went to work on my glasses and adjusted them so that they don’t slip down my nose. I’m thrilled and so grateful!!

The staff here is AMAZING! They provided a safe and socially distanced environment, where I was able to browse and get advice for the right frame and lens type for my prescription. They billed my insurance and made the process SO EASY! Will definitely be coming back :)

I randomly came in here because I had never really looked for nice sunglasses, and i noticed it walking by. I was so surprised by the great customer service I got, but especially the help I got from Kellie.She took the time. Kellie really helped me find a pair of sunglasses that looked amazing, and were both practical and affordable.I would recommend this place to anyone.

I have gone to this location several times now, but keep forgetting to write a review. Each time I go in, I’m always greeted with great customer service. Kellie is fantastic, and has great style too. If you’re looking for a new look, you should definitely talk to her.

The doctors here are friendly, thorough and fantastic. It’s always an equally great experience shopping for glasses or just popping in for maintenance or accessories.

After having an experience with another Lenscrafters store that involved reordering my lenses, I came to this Encinitas branch and all the employees were very helpful, friendly, and were ready to solve my issue that I had with my lenses.The Optician George Hinsdale helped me out alot with obtaining the perfect fit for my frames. He took time and heat molded my frames to the perfect fit which made me super happy because I didnt even know that was possible with my frames. Ive been to all of the Lens Crafters branches and this store has the best selection in designer frames so in a few years I will definitely be back to pick up another pair. I highly recommend this Len Crafters branch even if you need to make a long trip.

I cant say enough good things about this location. Ive been getting my glasses from LensCrafters for over 20 years and from multiple locations. This one tops them all. Their staff is always welcoming and friendly. They genuinely try to help their customers rather than making you feel like a number.Special acknowledgement to George, one of their sales associates. I had an issue at another LensCrafter location while traveling and George solved the problem with a simple call. He is truly amazing. I took my Mother in for an eye exam and new glasses. The staff was very patient and professional. We found a pair of frames within budget that looked great on her. Overall a great experience .

From Kansas visiting relatives in Rancho Santa Fe. Sunglasses were starting to slip on the bridge, so stopped into LensCrafters to see if they could tighten them. Anthony assisted us and what great customer service. He not only tightened the sunglasses, but my regular glasses as well and then thoroughly cleaned both pairs. Did not ask if we were customers or where we bought the frames. This LensCrafters sets the standard and above for customer service which all businesses should use as a template.

Terrible experience. I ordered new glasses and lenses about 2 weeks ago, which were very expensive but to me worth it as I have always trusted Lenscrafters quality. The first round of my glasses came in a week ago and failed quality, thus having to be remade. As a patient person I understood and although I was upset at waiting another week I wanted them to be right. I got a call yesterday that the new remake of my glasses came in and were ready for pickup. When I went to the store and tried them on it turns out that the associate helping me when I ordered input my prescription in wrong, thus leading to them needing to be remade a second time. This would take another week. No discount or incentive due to this terrible experience thus far was offered, as such I returned the glasses. Waiting 3 weeks for 2 sets of mistakes that were not the customers fault and then offering no discount or apology to me seems like a terrible way to keep a customer. I have been going to Lenscrafters since I was a kid and after this experience will never return and will tell the same to my friends and family. I wanted my voice to be heard as I felt this relevant to a real customer service experience.

Can’t say enough about the very nice and professional staff at LensCrafters Encinitas. Twice in the past year I have been there to fix my bent glasses or replace the case for my glasses. First time was a young lady (wish I had gotten her name) who helped me with the case for the glasses and most recently to straighten out my glasses. Anthony was extremely helpful. This is the only place I will go in future to buy new glasses.
