I love this store! They have a ton of local artists and small businesses, so there is literally something for everyone. I have bought homemade goat milk soap and bee pollen to billabong dresses and sun hats. They also have the cutest household items. I not only buy myself all of the things, but I also buy a lot of presents for family and friends here. Do yourself a favor and check it out next time you are in Downtown Encinitas!

I am in love with this store! The location is perfect, right in the heart of Encinitas just a few blocks away from the beach. With a diverse collection of vendors you can always find what you need (or didnt even know you needed). The staff is friendly and diligent and will always make sure youre well taken care of. Coast Highway Trading is always my go to shop.

This shop has become a regular stop for me. They have a little something for everyone. Clever household items, great for hostess gifts. Just bought a pair of Sanuk shoes for upcoming gift need, then managed to pick up a hat and t shirt for myself along with a locally made hand sanitizer. Win Win!

One or two cute dresses, but the prices for maxi dresses ($64) were too high for me at that quality. Staff initiated conversation three times in a 12 min visit, impolitely. A lot of Coast Hwy Traders cheeky, sparkly gift items can be ordered online; if any item or piece of glitter art was unique to the area, I didnt see a sign or a sticker saying so.

This is one of the best gift shops in Encinitas and along the coast. You will be able to find the most interesting gift, even for that person that is so hard to shop for. My favorite are Coast Hwys Mexican themed items sold by the owner Beverly. They are unique and adorable. A person would have to travel deep into the little towns and villages of Mexico to finds equal treasures. The jewelry is diverse and of solid quality and character. The service is AAA+++++ and it is centrally located on Coast Hwy with adequate street parking. The store carries a treasure full of local cultural gifts, pretty clothing, bags, music, shells and t-shirts that not only represent the authentic California coast, but many local artisans who sell their best items commercially. There are beautiful themed home decorating gifts that are extraordinary and not something you will see anywhere else. The best part is that the staff is knowledgable, many who were raised in the area and have excellent recommendations for travelers hoping to find the hot spots in town. Encinitas is super special as you will see. You can walk to her shop from the beach or stop by after work.Make sure you take trip to Coast Hwy Traders and be prepared to buy something. Ill bet you find something even before you walk in the door. Oh, also check out the window displays. They are never tired looking; rather fresh, interesting and full of wonder. Enjoy!
