Worst comic book store i ever been too. .. I bought 2 booster boxes and next day I go again they up the price by 25$, next day I ask how good do you think my comic book condition is... this guy saying its a 3 or 4 when I get it graded by CGC comes back a 7.6 ...3rd I asked for a price on a card I need ....and I get this for an answer over the phone we dont say prices over the phone so your expect me to drive 25 mins too your store for a price check? Overall in wish I never spent over 700$ in 2 weeks before I knew how shifty I was getting treated

Upon entering the store, I went right for the Silver Age boxes by the register. Great mix on this particular visit of SA Marvels and DCs. More great stuff behind the counter. (Bronze and newer stuffs in other boxes.). Clerk was really nice. Better experience this time than the first two visits. Worth a look.

What an an amazing store. From the time you walk in you’re greeted by someone. Friendly. Always glad to assist or answer questions. The store is not over crowded with just stuff. Clean, organized, Comfortable and a great variety and fair honest prices. My favorite in the area.

Owner is awesome with customer service. Their selection of cards, comics, statues, and pop figures is second to none. You are missing out if you havent been here. They have card game tournaments and local play as well.

Such an insane abundance of selection on different nerdy stuff for all! Not only do they have the biggest pop collection Ive seen, they have a great amount of other figures, statues and swag for a variety of fandoms including anime, comic books, horror movies, star wars, etc. They also have a fair trade selection and what looks to be a massive comic issue selection. Definitely a place you could spend lots of time and money in!

The store is actually amazing, good diversity and plenty off good things to pick from. Prices are fair for some things a bit more expensive for others but understandable for the diverse selection. Owner is very great but the person in charge of the trading cards has horrible costumer service. I was in store looking for a cards and he makes me place an online order for it before retrieving the card. Even helps me place the online order and watches me stand 20 minutes in front of him before taking action when the card could have just been retrieved from the beginning. Management should look into this, from looks of past reviews your only bad ones come from the trading card section

Awesome comic book store! Keep in mind, they have a ton of other things, but they are have a ton of comics! 50¢ comics, too! They are extremely friendly and the whole place (including the bathroom) is handicap accessible, which is great for me. Definitely give this place a go! You wont be disappointed!

I made an online purchase for some DBS playing cards. The cards I purchased were listed as Near Mint / Mint condition.Unfortunately a few of the cards were not anywhere close to near mind condition (see pictures).When I contacted the store to inquire about a refund, I was essentially told they will not issue a refund because they dont believe that those were the cards they sent me.TLDR: Store sent me lousy condition cards and is refusing to refund me on the basis that they claim those werent the cards they sent me.

The best Funko selection I have been to yet. I had 40+ set aside in the first hour I was there. Employees were great and the prices were more than fair. There is a Funko Pop Doll swap coming up on the 14th. Ill be there.

I have never seen so many funko pop minis in my life. The warhammer community is half dead, whos to blame there could be a debate about. But the current state of comic books is not thier fault. The staff was very helpful to help me find a great vague indi comic. Maybe I just reminisce about the revolutionary golden age of image comics, but the BIGGEST 2 comic book publishers on earth are producing very weak material.Where is Neil Gaiman when you need him?

The owner is great & knows a lot about comics, but the guy who takes care of the trading cards is the worst!!! Acts like he knows it all and doesn’t have the time of day for you. Also relentlessly defends his price gouging by saying he takes care of his local player. However I’ve been going for years and never get any deals, and prices just go higher and higher from msrp!!

If funkos are yoyr thing then.this is your place. Best variety and excellent prices. Staff is attentive and knowledgeable.

First they moved. Same building but down two spots. Can be bit confusing. Walked in and immediate see magic players but since I was looking one of the staff just set themselves up and watched me. No matter where I went he stared. Just left.

This is a great shop with a huge selection. Come check out the largest back issue collect in northern Connecticut, stay for the Magic, the pops, and statues.

Returning customers from years ago the new location is crazy big and still full of stuff. Never had bad experiences here buying our cards and supplies.

1. no prices over the phone2. ETB was $130/ea3. 3 ETBs plus insane CT tax = $475.00 when the total should have been under $200.4. they defend their prices saying at least we take care of locals5. maybe good if youre considered a local, but if youre traveling and arent whatever a local or regular is... you will be scalped. worse than scalped.6. i traveled an hour each way to be gouged.7. Ive spent 1000s on pokemon this year for my own collection and trading; the $475 i spent at MEC&G was the only time i felt terribly taken advantage of and is the last bit i will spend there.8. one of their employees said effectively that regulars are people that have shopped there for 3-5 years.LETS DO SOME MATH.- I paid $475(after tax) for 3 etbs that should have been less than $200(after tax)... BUT, lets get crazy and say i should have paid $275(still waaay more than retail, but its a good round number]- i buy etbs every month. so lets say i did this at MEC&G for 3-5years to be considered regular well get crazy again and stay on the low end at 3 years.- i would have to spend $200 above what a regular pays for 36 months.$200 × 36mo = $7,200.00 OVER THE NORMAL PRICE to then get an ETB for $60-$90(still over retail)

This place is pretty awesome! I bought some cards here last week I believe and they are authentic! I love that they can ship to your house so I don’t have to drive 2 hours to get them! Depending upon what you need, you may have about a 90% chance of finding it there. Theyre excellent with keeping up on the current monthly publications, but if youre looking for specific graphic novels and trade paperbacks that are much older than 3 to 5 years first publishing... you might want to consider doing a mail order (thats if you REALLY need it bad enough). Usually I always come out with something purchased that I really like. 😎👍

Just sold $500 worth of Pops for $210. I could have gotten more if i sold em through Facebook Marketplace but when u need cash now its more than a fair price. Owner is cool and if he doesnt have an item he would prob work with u to order it. They have a huge selection of comics and Funko Pops....although i dont like saying that cuz thats my spot for getting good pops for cheap. Got A pop as part of their 3 for $27 deal they always have daily and now its worth $100!!. But they have everyting u need from comics n graphic novels, to action figures like Marvel Legends and Banpresto to tons of Funko products like pops n sometimes sodas. And for Magic the Gathering fans they have tournaments all the time and im not sure about Pokemon tourneys, and they sell both kinds of cards. They also have all ur storage needs from pop protectors for 1 each to comic boards n bags. Only thing is they dont sell sports cards so for that youd have to go to Matts Sports Cards. Also have a small section of .50 cent comics which is a great n cheap way to get back issues but if u care about condition its prob not for u although u can find some near mints especially for newer issues but ive found alot of older runs for comics like Alpha Flight, Flash, X-Force, and even found the whole Funeral for a Friend run of The Death Of Superman!! Its an awesome shop in the Enfield CT area so stop by.

This has become my favorite go to spot in the area, an expansive selection of comics, pops, figures, and trading cards.Awesome part about this place is the large space for trading card games if your looking to buy they just about have it all, and if your just looking to play they hold tournaments very often and have a ton of tables to just sit and plan. Its a fun place to spend an afternoon.

Plenty of comics (both new and old), tons and tons of Funko Pop collectibles, and many collectible figures and cards. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Easy to find with plenty of parking. Not too many grades comics. Currently, theres 40% off new comics every Tuesday.

This place has a lot of collectibles Ill give it that, I cant say I am up to date with this place but I will say that players are known to have cards taken or stolen from them while they are here. The owner in addition is very stiff with customers regardless of their ability to purchase items and a lot of time will shrug them off often times differing to another person both for card database and sales. Sales heavily leans towards online making the visits to the store for such reasons a little bit awkward.

This place was cooler than I expected its much better than Thats Entertainment thats for sure and alot bigger as well with more merch and items even though the comic collection was a little bit less.

I absolutely love this place. Great selection of comics, pops and gifts for every fandom. I get the same feeling walking in here as I did as a child walking into a toy store with a pocketful of birthday money.

The prices here are excellent and they are well stocked. I went for comic bags and backer boards and they had every size including magazine size. The best thing it was almost half the price of a nearby store. The owner is kind and could answer all the questions I had.

Best place for collectables

Great selection of comics, POPS, and Magic the gathering. But there is much else besides. Large open space, they also accommodate large tournaments. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

My son is very into Magic the Gathering. He loves coming to this store and browsing their wares in order to strengthen his deck. I dont really know anything about Magic but my son loves this store and they are always nice to him. I would recommend this store to anyone looking for heard to find collectibles.

This is one of the two shops in Enfield that sell MTG and is definitely the better of the two, which is not saying much if you check my review of the other one. The owner is nice enough, he will help you if you get his attention. His card selection is lacking, I dont think he does much trading really aside from probably opening a box when he gets inventory. He does keep them in binders though which is helpful. Booster prices are unfortunately on the high end.As the three stars say, its okay. Sadly it could go from okay to an alternative to Ice Imports if he took the right approach to it. I was hoping the new location would revamp his MTG dedication, but not so much. He has a ton of playing space devoted to MTG which doesnt make sense with the card selection and booster prices. Again its okay, not as awful as Matts but nowhere near Ice Imports.

Place has no idea what they’re talking about I came in with over 1000$ worth of first edition Pokémon cards that are 18+ years old n mint condition n the idiot tried telling me they were all new reprints! Well I was willing to sell em cheap to not do the legwork but oh well. Will never come back here again.

Big store with great selection of single issues. I wish they had more trade paperbacks but beggars cant be choosers. The staff is very friendly and the store is actually organized (Most comic book stores are not organized). I highly recommend this store.

Great Selection and Pricing!

Beware of this place when walking g in they have kids running around the store, and also when you bring in things to he sold watch them carefully. Didnt like that my client was gonna get ripped off of his comic books. They guy was saying they were worth only .05 cents but on a sheet of paper he was writting 2.00, 5.00, etc, I caught on real quick and headed for the door. Will never do business with them ever.

New store is even more spacious than the last location. This is why youre my primary magic the gathering local venue. Keep up the great work guys!
