Full disclose in appliance department was not posted on a Samsung refrigerator. They offered two different colors on refrigerator to pick from. Once this product was purchased the purchase price on the receipt was approximately $50.00 over posted sales price on the refrigerator. When I asked the sales associate why the asking price was different than the price that we were charged she barked( as if we should have known )well the color you picked of course is more expensive. The brand new appliance was free delivery. Once plastic covering was removed a long scratch and dent was discovered.

Came in to buy a bandsaw that I had seen here three days ago. The display is completely gone, just scrubbed from the shelves. The only employee willing to help me offered me a very helpful answer to my question of, Hey, what happened to the bandsaws you were selling? Yeah the display that was right here?Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yeah. Guess we dont anymoreSo there are better local options for buying tools that you should explore. Theyll at least give you reasonable explanations if they dont have what you need.

Went to this location to purchase a gas grill. they had 2 of the models I wanted assembled. 1 was missing parts and the other looked like it was used. The person that works that department agreed and said their were several others in stock and he could have one assembled. I agreed and paid for the grill and was told it would be ready for pick up the next day around noon. When I arrived around 3pm they said the would have it brought out to my truck. When the person arrived at the door to load it I asked to examine it first. It was the same damaged and used looking grill that I didnt want the night before. The cashier who was listening to the conversation agreed that the grill looked used and had some damage. I went to the service desk and asked to speak to a manager. The women said she could help me indicating that a manager was not necessary. I explained the situation and she said a new one could be assembled but was not sure when. I informed her I lived out of state and had to drive out of my way because they were the only location that had the model I wanted. I suggested delivery, but that was a 2 week wait. I was not offered a discount on the used model. I asked for a refund and suggested that someone should do something about the blatant dishonesty that I experienced. As a contractor who spends a lot of money at home depot, I will certainly never go to this location again and will do my best to tell everyone to avoid Home Depot in Enfield CT. Go to Lowes.

If you ever need a kitchen designer go find Eric. I have the most beautiful kitchen thanks to him! Very knowledgeable, precise and Detailed oriented. He looked every inch of the kitchen and came up with the best idea to make everything work. Left notes for the installer. So happy with my new kitchen, not 1 mistake, he planned ahead for everything!

Do NOT order appliances for delivery here... especially if dealing with the terrible salesperson, Georgie. Clearly this woman gets paid on Home Depot Credit Card apps because thats all she seemed to care about. Every time I tried to ask a question, she would VERY rudely interrupt me to somehow bring it back to the HD credit card. Look, I get it, store cards can bring brand loyalty... but, in this case I walked out and didnt purchase. Georgie is NOT an asset, no matter how many credit apps she is getting ... sales are walking out the door.

Have ordered online to store with home dept before and always received several courtesy reminders if needed that items were available to be picked up. Apparently HD changed their policy and now only hold items for 7 days. Today my online order was abruptly canceled without any reminders that the item still hadnt been picked up. The email I received stated that the item had actually been picked up but when I called to check on it I was told that they canceled it. Asking if I could come right down and pick the item up (approx 1 hr after the picked up email) and they said not possible, item was already canceled/gone. Crazy. In the time of a pandemic I would hope a company would have a little more leeway and respect for customers. Perhaps I had been ill and unable to pick up the item in the new 7 day window?

Even though this was formally reported to the corporate office, I dont feel that this is something we can be quiet about. Today my husband and I were visiting this location to purchase items for our bathroom renovation. We found a vanity that we fell in love with but the box it was in had significant damage and was taped closed. A gentleman from the sales department (who I will not name because he was super helpful) told us hed give us 25% off and wrote it on the box and signed it, telling us just to let the cashier know they could called him if there were any issues. We ended up having to grab a few more things before checking out 30 minutes later.. (who knew there were so many faucets to chose from!) As soon as we got to the cashier, Sharon, her whole demeanor had changed. When helping the (white) gentleman in front of us, she was all smiles, just happy and helpful. She looked at my 64, black husband, and immediately labeled us as criminals. While checking us out (two smalls items in our carriage, some wood, and a vanity) she insisted that I lift my coat so she could check for items we could have hidden. (Which I happily did and then questioned why she would even ask that since my coat was on the side of the cart and the whole cart was visible!!) She then told us that she didnt feel comfortable giving us 25% off and that we could have written on the vanity ourselves so she was going to call in the back to make she there was a person working by that name. She THEN called someone else over and explained to them that she STILL didnt feel comfortable giving us the 25% off. At this point I was getting very upset with her rudeness and asked both her and the person she had called over to call a manager because I was not going to tolerate her blatant disrespectful tone and demeanor towards myself and my husband. When the manager came over, the manager told her to give us the 25% off.. NO PROBLEM. Sharon then said, ok well I didnt feel comfortable and went to dismiss the manager. I then made the manager aware of Sharons rudeness towards us and how she had been almost strip searched me and making us feel like criminals and the manager just laughed it off and said, noooo. I then paid for our $500 in items and let them know Id be calling corporate. No apologies, nothing. At this time I had just gotten out of work and was in my professional attire.. 6 months pregnant.. and because my BLACK husband was there in his casual clothing, we were treated like trash. We were racially profiled by SHARON AT THE HOME DEPOT. And we will never shop at home depot again after this incident.

I love this Home Depot! Always has what I need and I can spend hours in their garden section in the summer! They have self check outs for quick items you need to purchase and they have tons of regular registers as well. They have a paint section and also a flooring section. Great area too. I’m writing this in hopes that a manager will see this. We just recently built a house on our own and bought a lot of our stuff from Home Depot in Enfield. Everything from building materials to appliances to light fixtures to vanities to security cameras. I would say that 7 times out of 10 when we get home and open the box, there is either a broken product or missing parts. When someone returns some thing, the employees are just putting it back on the shelf instead of properly checking to make sure that the product is working and not missing anything. Please do something to fix this. It is such a waste of time to have to drive all the way back to return it or have to go to the hardware store to buy a part.

Recently, I had to do all my shopping on my ONE day off. I stopped at 5 different locations and it was sad because everyone seemed miserable having to be at work during this pandemic. The weather was very hot and humid and that made things worse. Simple things like a hello or even eye contact seemed non-existent.I cant imagine how difficult it must be having to work through this pandemic, though.But when I got to the cashier at Home Depot I cannot tell you how impressed I was with Mary C. She was the perfect balance between personable and professional. She answered all my questions (some of them complicated) in a way that I could easily understand.Being an international retail sales trainer, I can tell you that Mary knows a thing or two about outstanding guest experience.I know I dont have to tell you how valuable she is to your team!

Went to buy 35 bags of Vigaro brown mulch. Stood in line for 15 min to buy it, then went to the area in the parking lot to have it loaded. They had only 2 bags of the brand I bought. Was told have to get it from the garden center. Stopped at the service desk and 10 min later they said they would bring it out to us and to wait at the Pro center loading area. The workers at the Pro area told us they have no more stock of what we bought. While asking why would they sell it if there is none left, they rudely admitted their inventory was off. Big waste of time and the garden center people have no clue what they are doing. Not sure I want to shop at this location anymore.
