Collins Creamery, located on a bucolic hilltop, is a perfect place to grab an afternoon scoop of homemade ice cream. The carrot cake ice cream had a creamy, flavorful carrot cake flavored base studded with small pieces of cake. While a small cone (pictured here) was a touch pricey at $4, the creamy richness of the ice cream left me feeling satisfied. Will definitely be back to try their other flavors (such as brownie batter ice cream with Oreo pieces)(deciding on just one was so hard)

So no many flavors. I love their black raspberry flavor. Will pbly get that next time. This time I got dutch apple.

This is a Great place for ice cream. Lots flavors to choose from. I have only had the hard ice cream, but they do have soft. Its not cheep but I think you are getting a very good product for the price. We live west of the connecticut river about 1/2 hour + drive and still make it here a few times a year.

This is one of the best ice cream places Ive ever had the pleasure of visiting. Besides the great ice cream and variety of toppings theres also a great view here that you just dont see at other ice cream places.

First time there, and the ice cream was excellent. This place is best experienced on a nice day, seating is outdoor picnic tables on a farm. If youre craving ice cream look no further. Its off the beaten path but Google maps will get you there.

A longtime local staple! Great variety of flavors. The mix has a bit more air and a bit less flavor over the years even though prices have gone way up, though still the best ice cream in the area by far.

Ice Cream was delicious, area where you can eat has nice tables and umbrellas. My son loved the little play train they had to climb all over. Its on a farm so of course it smelled like cows (Which I dont mind) but it wouldve been fun to see the cows!

I got the raspberry sorbet, I enjoyed it and the service was friendly. However, my husbands mint ice cream was super airy, which maybe some people like, but it really just tasted like frozen cool whip. That was super disappointing as it hardly seemed like ice cream.

Never in my life have I ever had the most deelish frozen yogurt. What a lovely farm dairy bar. Wait staff so friendly and accommodating. Absolutely loved it.

Wanted peanut butter and they had Collins mud but not very peanut buttery at all. Tasted okay but .... Also a bit expensive.. I understand its a family business but 2 scoops for 5.75?

Plenty of room to keep yourself socially distant. Plenty of picnic tables that are well within the expectations of the current conditions of the pandemic. Employees were all wearing masks correctly everybody kept their space.Ice cream is awesome my dog was a big fan of the doggy ice cream. weve been here a few times and plan on going here plenty more.

Nice setting if you are just wanting to relaxe outside however I was very disappointed with my mint chocolate chip ice cream. My wife handed me a pint of take home and it was as light as air. It was quite flavorless actually with just a little sweetness( much like cool whip). In fact, it melted into a froth, not a thick liquid like a quality thick ice cream would... Certainly not quality but maybe worth trying for those who like really light ice cream (much lighter than bryers). Opposite end of sprectrum from Costco vanilla or haagen dazs. Maybe this has more cream in it..

Great tasting ice cream!! On a farm with picnic tables its October huge pumpkin patch you can pick from, buy compost and check out the horses. They have a farm dog which makes the visit great he comes and says hi. Definitely not disappointed. This was my 3 rd time here.

Great ice cream cool spot

This place is super cute. There are a few benches to sit at and you can even watch the cows while you eat. The variety of ice creams are good and they even have things if youre lactose intolerant.

This place is nestled in a quiet area. We would have never found it except for I was looking for ice cream places on my phone. What a great place!!! Ice cream was fantastic. Servers were so patient and friendly. It was worth the drive. We will definitely be going back when warm weather arrives in the summer!!

All those ratings I had to come check this place out.Friendly staff and great variety of options.However, I left unsatisfied and underwhelmed.The ice cream flavors I ordered were mint chip and cookie dough. Both were very cold and pretty tasty. Not enough chocolate chips in either and few cookie dough pieces in the latter. I ordered them as part of the brownie sundae, though, and that brownie was more of a sponge with no flavor and did not complement anything in the sundae. Disappointing.Im sure people might really enjoy this place but Ive had a lot better elsewhere and closer to where I live.If youre in the area go here more of as a last resort. Nothing too special imo.The scenery was beautiful however.

So lucky to live close to this gem. Best ice cream anywhere with a pretty landscape. We especially love bringing home half gallons of toasted almond. A summer must!

This is my new favorite ice cream place. The have a wide selection of ice creams, maybe too wide of a selection I recommend you bring someone who has been there to tell you what to get or just get black raspberry :). While eating ice cream you can view their cows and other farm animals. Their prices are fair but be aware there is no card reader CASH ONLY. I recommend a visit with your friends, you will not regret it.

Yum. Its rare to get to eat real home-made ice cream. Besides the ice-cream itself being great, the location is awesome. Beautiful outdoor setting on a farm, I got greeted by their ambassador - big golden lab who comes up to my car door as I am getting out. And then the ice creams - great flavors, creamy and smooth. Delicious old fashioned ice cream! A friend introduced me to this place last year and we have went this year. Butter crunch! Yum! Dogs are welcome and friendly. Nice area to sit and enjoy the outside while your children play on the playscape.
