Chippers removed 3 very big dead pine trees and trimmed an old maple tree for us about 5 years ago. In 2020 we needed to have a 200+ year old maple tree removed we chose Chippers again. It was a huge tree very close to our 170 year old house. Chippers did a great job!

In the Spring, we were worried about orange coloring appearing on our great birch tree. Chippers stopped over, checked the tree and pronounced it fine. A real relief. In fall, Chippers aerated and over seeded our front lawn.. It is looking better than ever and is still green, 11/24. Polite, helpful, hard working personnel. Highly recommended.

I have used Chippers several times over the past 10 years or so, to remove trees, prune trees, cable trees, and deal with storm damage, on trees ranging from small ornamentals and fruit trees to huge old sugar maples. They are a very reliable company; communication with anyone on the Chippers team is always helpful and pleasant; they always show up when they say they will; they arrive with state of the art equipment; they always keep safety of persons and property at the forefront; they are skilled professionals who bring an aesthetic sensibility to their work; and they always clean up, so that you would never know they have been there if it werent for the wonderful work they have done. I was so impressed by the company after first using them that, as a Christmas present, I hired them to do a coarse crown pruning on two huge and ancient sugar maples directly in front of and overhanging the roof my parents historic house. These trees had not had any work done on them for generations, if ever. Chippers did a super job in a tight space where damage to a structure could easily have occurred. [Did I mention that Chippers offers a discounted rate for tree work done this time of year?, or at least they used to.] Their greatest moment for me was after the storm that swept through NH this August when one side of a bifurcated leader on an old sugar maple along my property line snapped off way up high and fell down onto some cabling wires below, leaving some of it suspended over my property and the bulk of it precariously hovering horizontally over the roof of my neighbors historic barn. I was out of state at the time, but when I learned of the situation, I immediately called Chippers and asked for Cal Felicity, whom I had worked with before. On a moments notice Cal got to work assembling an emergency response team. In the meantime, I called my insurance company, got the go ahead to proceed, and then called Cal and gave him the OK. An emergency team was on the spot some 48 hours from my call to Chippers. They used heavy equipment to support and remove the huge leader that otherwise had no place to go but down onto the neighbors roof. I was not there to witness the work, but my neighbors called to express how professional the team was and what a great job they were doing -- I had previously assured them that I was sending the best as they were nervous that they might lose their roof. You might think that was my description of Chippers greatest moment for me, but no, there is a wee bit more. After two months went by, my insurance company decided not to pay my claim for removal of the storm damaged and fallen tree after all. In despair, I contacted Chippers and explained the situation to them, that this created an unexpected financial hardship for me, especially as it was during the holidays. Chippers worked with me in a selfless and totally unmatched way to address the financial aspects of this contract and relieve some stress for me -- and this was their greatest moment for me. You want to hire Chippers not only for their great work, but because they are a company of honest, ethical and compassionate people: A COMPANY WITH A HEART AND A SOUL. Timely efficient and expert removal of a white pine over 100 feet high-crane was used as tree was in a tight location -tree was cut in sections and the crane lifted sections to the road where the crane with human assistance feed most of the tree into a chipper-the lower portions of the trunk where too large for the chipper so where set aside and a logging truck came and took the the 3 portions of the trunk awayThe job was done perfectly and the lot was left spic and span. I was left in awe of this highly skilled and professional team.

We needed various tree limbs cut that was interfering with our view. Some were in precarious areas where the cut limb needed to be managed down to the ground. They worked expertly and efficiently. Will definitely have them back again.

I have a 7 acre lot in New Hampshire on a wooded hillside overlooking a lake. I have been using Chippers to help me maintain my view of the lake,stabilize the slop around the house, care for the trees and shrubs around the house, and give me general advice on caring for the property. I called Chippers to try to save our hugeOLD beautiful maple tree that was so severely TRIMMED by the NHEC that we were afraid it would die. Chippers responded immediately to my call and then came up to evaluate the tree. They sent a team up to trim the tree more evenly and to stabilize it. We have used Chippers for our unruly field which needs to be cut down every fall. This past fall, I also had a bunch of trees taken down and asked for their opinion on others that I had concerns about. I was impressed with the knowledge and advice that I received during the process and the fact that they were just as likely to convince you to keep a tree rather than take it down if it was best for the environment. We have another big project that I will be contacting them for later this year.

Everything was done up to specifications, door hangers left, instructions, and a lawn flag to indicate who did the service and the date. The results were as expected, better than average because I had the lawn cut at 3 for the entire year- practice what you preach I say.

We have hired Chippers several times to give us professional guidance on trees that we should remove before they are so rotted that they fall on the house. Since our house in on the lake, there are restrictions we need to adhere to regarding tree removal. Having arborists on staff, Chippers offers the professional knowledge needed to identify the trees that should be removed and those that just might be fine or other trees we may want to keep an eye on. Can’t ask for better service. They arrive when they say they will, provide an estimate when they say they will & shows up to do the works as stated. The last 2 times, we weren’t here for the tree removal but had no worries they would do a great job w/out us being there to oversee them. And they did! Wouldn’t do that w/ too many hired workers these days.Highly recommend Chippers
