Great People! Went out of their way to help me out. Was not a current customer but will be soon! I would highly recommend to anyone!
Quality boats treats customers like second-class citizens. They are completely rude and dismissive of you unless you are a rich old white guy who is perfectly willing to pay full asking price. If you are anything else or if you ask for any kind of deal they Will discard you like you are worthless to them. Business is good right now so their arrogance is more apparent than ever. Do yourself a favor and find a Boat dealer who treats you with respect.
I recently purchased a boat from this marina. The salesman is Ed Kopp. You will search for a very long time to find someone better. Personable, knowledgeable, honest, accommodating, the list goes on. Very enjoyable no hassle experience.
Great people here! Bought a used boat from Quality and was treated like a king from the moment I walked in to look at the boat. Ed and Charles were great to work with. Stu out by the docks was really helpful with showing us the ins and outs of keeping the boat here! Highly Recomended!! 5 stars!!
We have had our new boat at Quality for two years. The best parts are Noel and Angela who help with answering phones and greeting customers. They are efficient and friendly as well as the dock help who greet you and fill up your boat with gas. However, the service manager, Captain Bob, is the most unprofessional employee. His communication is horrendous. We finally found out that we had water in our gas and we only get gas at Quality Marina. We stalled twice in the Intercoastal and were told after 9 days that there was nothing wrong. We took it back out and it stalled again. Captain Bob and Charles said everything was fine.We no longer wanted them to service it again so we took it to another marina where we found out within an hour that there was water in the gas and 3 parts were destroyed in the motor. We liked their prices, but once you need service, it’s a nightmare.Steer clear if you need your boat serviced!!John and Gloria Brda
We store our boat there. Great service, very friendly.
Great place to keep your boat not only because of the friendly helpful personal but also because of their great location on the intercoastal. They also have a great staff in the boat sales department. Five stars for sure and we are staying with them for as long as we need storage for our boat..thanks everyone!
Bob (captain) Anderson and the parts guy most arrogant two people Ive ever met. Both with failed businesses, but very impressed with themselves. Would be wise to replace them both.
Highly recommend!! I had family coming in from out of town for the weekend and wanted to take them out in my boat to enjoy the warm weather. Two days before theyre supposed to arrive I take the boat out and the Yamaha wont run above idle. I called around and Quality Boats offered to look at it right away when I explained my situation. I took it in and they had a diagnosis and repair quote for me by the end of the day, fuel system problems and my fuel injectors werent working right. Lucky they actually have their own machine to clean injectors so didnt have to send them somewhere else to be serviced. They got my boat back to me by Friday afternoon running great, Bob in service and his guys really saved the weekend for us.
You know... I did not buy a new high dollar boat. As a matter of fact the boat I purchased was older and under 5k. Yet they treated me like I was spending 100k on a new top of the line boat. Thanks Capt Ed. Great experience.
Last week we took our boat in for a repair and the owner came out and personally Thanked us for our business! The boat was in for a repair that is covered under warranty and it was a non-issue. The boat was purchased from them originally and we have always had great service with them. We drive down from Anna Maria to take our boat there because we can trust them. I would recommend them highly.
Staff here are great and always helpful. We store our boat here and love the service they provide.
RUN! I got ripped off here big time, very sneaky people.Bought my boat there... Then it needed repairs. We had it repaired and we got the boat back in worse condition then we gave it to them. They said riding the boat on the trailer 4 blocks down the road to put it in the water after being repaired it could of broke and is not their problem. They are rude and state it will now coast another $3k to fix it. We asked then to look over motor for any other problems and if there were not, we would not be going any further with work. we now cant even use the boat and it is still in their shop. First time out we immediately had to take it back.Spoke to Drew in service & Charles the General manager who is extremely rude to customers.Stay away from these guys.
We have had our boats at Marine Dynamics for 12 years and let me tell you we are spoiled by all of their Services. There is nothing better than showing up and your boat is fueled, in the water, and waiting for you at any time of the day. The dock staff is always helpful and takes great care of our boat. Whenever we need service the Marine Dynamics service department is thorough and always charges a fair price. And lets be honest, we are year lucky enough to be year round residents and during the season business spikes a the marina and it may take longer to get any service completed. The manager always lets us know this when we need service so that we can plan accordingly. In summary Marine Dynamics is a great marina in the best location near the Gulf.
Purchased a SeaFox 226 Commander from Marine Dynamics. Have to say what a great experience with company. They made the whole process flawless, cant say enough about their service before and especially after the purchase of the boat.Captain Ed Kopp deserves a lot of credit for going out of his way every time with any question concerns and putts you at ease during the whole process. His knowledge in the boating industry is by far the best! Thanks again for helping me get my dream boat!
Marine Dynamics stored my boat for a very reasonable price and was very good about putting it in the water when I asked. Thats the good part. Some flotation cushions went missing while the boat was stored. They had been stowed, not just lying out in the open.If I went to the service department with a problem, they always promised to look at it and call me. They were pretty good about looking at the problem but they never managed to call me.I purchased the boat used from Marine Dynamics. After five months, I realized that it was not a good fit. Buying it was my error and no fault of theirs. I asked Claude to put it up for sale. He insisted on advertising it for much more than it was worth because he wanted to leave room for negotiation. After five months of no action, I decided to take it back and either keep it or sell it myself. I asked them to put it in the water so I could give it a check ride. They put it in the water and it wouldnt start. It had mysteriously died while sitting on their lot. At that point, I sold it to Claude for about the value of the GPS on it.Marine Dynamics is a good place to store a boat. (If you lock everything up.) For anything else, find a different marina.
Great marina nice quiet atmosphere plenty a room to move around & dock your boat, wash your boat the dock hands are very helpful and friendly.
It Presidents Week and both Forklifts were out. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional.
Ive stored my boat here for almost a year now and have had major repair work done there as well (engine work, new below hull 113 gallon fuel tank, and a lot of little things). The cost to store your boat is great and the folks there that I deal with most of the time (Stuart, Stephen, etc) treat me and my boat very well and are always friendly. Ive ordered parts too and prices are very reasonable and Don is always happy to assist. As it relates to my major issues, the work was always done in the time frame that I was told, the cost was as expected or LESS than originally estimated, and my boat is running great. Drew responded quickly to all my inquiies, he asnwers honestly, and he stands by the work performed. The mechanic, Shane, has done nothing but great work. I trust his work 100% and hes always been available if I had any questions at all.
DO NOT HAVE YOUR BOAT WORKED ON HERE!!! I took it in for what I was originally told was a $220 repair. When I finally got it back it was $7000. They broke my trim motor and tried to charge me $980 for it. When I questioned it, they finally owned up to it and didn’t charge me. When I got it back it wouldn’t start. Oddly enough, the repair to fix it was $980!!! AMAZING, huh? Every time they take it back in their shop they find something new. And continue to charge me for it. And yet it never seems to work when I get it back. Get this, I get it back AGAIN today. After paying ANOTHER $700 for a starter. My son and I go to take it out this morning and neither motor will start! The dock hand says he was able to get one started. (I have twin 220’s). Yet with only getting one motor running, I obviously couldn’t take it out. But that didn’t stop him from putting over $100 worth of fuel in it. Granted I told them to put fuel in it, you’d think he wouldn’t have done it if it didn’t start and I couldn’t use it.I will say this for them, after the astronomical repair bill, that was $3000 higher than I was quoted, they did work with me on getting it paid. Which I greatly appreciated. And Charles the manager is fairly easy to deal with. I think he truly cares. And the girls up front are fantastic! Really, my biggest beef is the service department. Absolutely sub-par and it all seems very crooked. I feel very much ripped off. Even when the put my boat at the marina, when it was still Marine Dynamics, I was told to NEVER let them work on it. I should’ve listened. I love the marina. But I wish I could give their service department less than one star.
The parts department guys did a great job helping with my boat. Don thanks a million for the help.
Very beautiful place to relax and have fun
Brought my newly purchased used 2013 boat to the marina on August 18th and signed a work order to me sure it ran ok. It is now September 9th and still no work completed. I kept calling and got nowhere. I am moving my boat asap. Advise all to avoid this marina.
I store my boat here and I have the highest recommendation for the people and facility. We relocated to the Sarasota/Charlotte County area due to work and I looked at homes in Nokomis, Venice, North Port, Englewood and Port Charlotte before settling in Port Charlotte. I wanted to live on the water but that didnt happen. Were a boating family and the thought of having to trailer our beloved 25 Everglades wasnt what we had in mind. As luck would have it, we stopped by the local Everglades dealer, Marine Dynamics in Englewood, just looking around. Turns out that they have dry storage that is incredibly convenient, great location and affordable. Weve been with them for a couple of months and love it. Friendly and helpful staff a major plus!
Very good outboard repair mechanic. Always dead on with the repairs
They dont deserve a star!I have pictures and invoices from certified VP mechanics that my repowered starboard engine was improperly installed! As of August 2014, Marine Dynamics has not registered my two year warranty! During the repowering process they trashed my boat! I have pictures! Even after disputing the charges and then forced to pay they will not complete the contracted service.Stay away~!!
I recently purchased the most expensive boat I have ever bought from this dealer. The boat was used and the agreement on my contract was to make everything work. I am now about 5 months into owning the boat and I am still getting things to work. They have been very slow to get things fixed and they are not motivated to get things done in a timely manor. The last time I brought my boat in they said they would need it for a few days and they had it 2 weeks and when I picked it up, it was dirty with black footprints all over my boat and this was after they told me they were detailing my boat and to come get it. There is no sense of quality with there workmanship and I think someone needs to help them understand what customer service is about. I tried to reach the owner but he does not come in very often and as I was told by the receptionist He lets us do our own thing here I am sorry to say, think they will be out of business if they dont make some changes soon. The moral to my story is dont pay them all of there money until they do everything they say they are going to do or you could be months getting it done.
Fast service nice people
All the folks are fantastic and very helpful at Quality Boats.
Great service
Nice people good storage
Good service good parts department
Staff is the BEST
Most unreliable people I met. They lied straight up on their faces. 1 in rating is too high.
