Absolutely love this place! Ben, Steve, and Tim are so awesome and helpful. Not sure if I would still be brewing if it hadnt been for all Bens recipe and troubleshooting help years ago! Their prices are good too!
The guys here are fairly helpful and tend to know their stuff. One thing I dont like about this store is that their mill is set way to coarse. Last time I bought grains here (first and last time) I noticed the grain wasnt as nicely milled as the other store I frequent. Sure enough I undershot on the OG significantly. You would need about 20% more grains to hit your target gravity if you mill at Beer at Home (even if you double mill). Id rather just go to the other home brew store where I still mill twice to get the consistency I want, but spend 20% less. This tends to be a common practice among brewing supply store to up their sales. In general Ive found this store to be a bit careless in their management and presentation. Often out of items I need and sometimes they still have shelf space designated for items they dont even carry anymore. Their immersion chillers are sloppily constructed.I dont hesitate to stop by for something I need as long as its not for grain (its the closest store by far). Theyre also fairly priced on most items.
I absolutely love shopping here. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable & incredibly helpful. Ive bought design Brew kits, rhizomes, and Brewing equipment from the store, and I dont shop anywhere else for my Brewing needs.
Like others have mentioned, these guys are super helpful and down to earth. They dont expect you to be a brew master the second you walk in the door, but are able to communicate with you even if you are. Customer service is great as well. They allowed me to pick and choose and customize my order when I initially purchased my startup kit. I stopped by weeks later because I noticed the bucket I bought didnt have the lid with it and they gave me one no questions asked. This is the first time Ive ever taken the time to leave a review for a company. That in itself should be enough for you to give em a try.
Ive traveled around to many of the homebrew stores in the Denver area. Most are friendly and helpful, but this place is hands down the best for product availability and helpful staff. I go out of my way to shop there.
Amazing service - this is what makes a business great. They have great selection of grains and equipment, but the service is what will keep me coming back.
These guys are super helpful, super friendly and I have had great success with their advice and supplies. I recommend it.
I love these guys! Great ingredients, great stories, and an amazing story network for your home brewing needs.
Good guys! They are real people. Im loyal after all they have done for me.
Good selection, competitive prices, knowledgeable staff. Worth checking it out.
This place rocks. The staff is incredibly helpful and can walk you through the brewing process of just about anything, even by phone as your wort is boiling on the stove.
Super friendly and helpful folks there.
Outstanding staff and service; good selection.
