I am extremely dissatisfied with this store. Today I experienced a physical threat by another costumer and when I tried to express my need for help, I was blamed and harassed by the managers. I am a senior white woman with my Asian American grandson and for some unknown reason, I was physically accosted by a white middle aged man. I was standing in the aisle looking at items and and I heard an “excuse me!” in a loud and harsh tone. I looked up and felt this man brush by me impatiently only to then stand right in front of my cart to block me. He did not have a cart and had plenty of room to pass us.I was surprised by his rudeness and close proximity, I said excuse me and that’s when he lit into me calling me rude and told me that I was standing in the middle of the aisle. I told him that he was too close and needed to give me some space and then he got right in my face and started shouting. I told him firmly to back away and him started to walk away. He kept harassing me as he walked off and I called him a piece of work and told him to stay the hell away from us. At that point a clerk stepped up and said he would kick us both out and as I tried to explain what had happened. He would not listen and called for a manager. The manager was also unwilling to listen even when I told her that I felt threatened. Another employee stepped in and insisted we leave. I got my grandson out of the cart and headed towards the door with the two unidentified store employees following me out. On the way out they called the police and began insist that I wait for the Police to arrive.I left because I wanted to protect my Grandson from this ugliness. As far as I could tell the man who started this mess had no consequence for his actions and we were harassed as we were just trying to leave. My Grandson is only three years old and I can’t help but think that this could have been racially motivated.I feel that I need to document this in the hopes that someone else can be spared from this horrible aggression and humiliation in the future.
Good place to find some interesting stuff. I was lucky enough to find a huge stuffed bear for my dog. Probably the cheapest one around (comparing other places).
Christmas sweaters. P.Js and shirts..very unique..
Was here for donating stuff which I don’t need anymore. It was pretty easy drop off. The donation center is back side of the store.
Third time now that Ive loaded up my truck to go donate good in shape clothing and furniture. It also happens to be the third time that Ive been told they are not accepting furniture when call prior and they say they are. Highly unprofessional and inconvenient to play such low levels of well now and forever be using the ARC.
I love this location, much less snobby and gross than the one on Broadway in Denver, I always find amazing stuff here! Good prices too.
Always fun to shop at Goodwill!! Awesome selection of clothes, dishes, clothes, etc.
This store is awful Ive shopped here for years its always have kind of an attitude about it but tonight I was actually told I couldnt puechase my items because it was 9 oclock in the dot they wouldnt not because the register shut down like alchohal sales or anything just because they didnt want to and then i was told that if I even tried to argue they would call the cops she opened the door and told me to come back another time i was out the door by 9:02 the lady behind me had a cart full of vases she spent awhile shopping for that is really really sad that they did that and. I shop at goodwill a lot and have been disappointed by their tacktics before i gave them another chance after they changed some of the policies and prices and brought 99cents tags but i will no longer be giving this greedy and non customer service oriented non- profit busisnness any of mine or anyone I know business. ARC you just got yourselves a very loyal very profitable customer and advocate.
School clothes shopping is more economical.Cashier was really nice.
Great service..less foot traffic during the week days. Fast checkouts
I can almost always find something good at this location although they definitely are price gauging to make more profit.
Drop off efficiency is terrible. Plan on waiting 15 min to drop one bag. You’re better off dropping at the arc.
Over priced for quality of items.Last time was very happy..this time not so much. Clean Store and clean restrooms
Always a good time. Great selection of suits, great selection of brand clothing as well. Shoes are abundant as well and you would be hard pressed to find any flaws/stains/tears on the clothing, if at all! Definitely recommend this GoodWill for in the clutch clothes shopping!Kind Employees as well!Kind RegardsJason Mitchell
Great employees and scored some good stuff!!!
Really, how much of our identity is actually our own?
Well, the assistant manager was a delight. No crowd. Got a neat night stand!
Found a couple things I could use. Clean and organized well.
Typical Goodwill. Clean and tidy enough. Difficult to get access to a bathroom.
Empty! Nothing on shelves except some glassware and Halloween stuff. Looked more like a garage sale. Skip this location. They either have someone with OCD running it or they should just close shop.
Pricey. Used to be more organized with better stuff
I thought it was great service is very good
Never been run out of a Goodwill parking lot trying to donate by a hooded employee smoking a cigarette out front before until I went to this Goodwill...So that was cool.
This store screams bed bugs and communal diseases they sell sandals with toe prints do not shop here
Stellar as usual, though the patrons at this instance in time made us feel like multi demential time traveling aliens with super space aids.
RUDE. Not even closing time and when I actually opened my car door some guy locked the front door. He didn’t do this while I was sitting in the car reading the door poster, or while I was grabbing my purse, but as soon as I opened the car door. Nor did he even smile, nod, or mouth anything my way. Which would have been some sort of understanding in common curtesy. Just flat out locked up, minus well of flipped me off. Don’t take your business here.
Cons to working at this location: over worked and under paid, no communication, no respect for employees, lazy employees, and bad management! Very disappointed in goodwill!
The manager was very rude.... seems miserable... and it sure rubbed off on me... i said, thank you and have a good day!He ignored me... will not be returning back to this store with that negative attitude!
Clean and organized but kind of pricey.
A couple of staff were kinda rude
Was quoted $20 on a bicycle by an employee. Had manager come inform me they’d be selling the bicycle on their e-commerce site for $99.00 This store wasn’t previously run by a group from Colorado Springs. Now that they run it they gouge their customers. I can’t recommend shopping here.
I usually go here to buy books. With a little time and patience a person can find some good books and on the right day apply a discount and Youre good to go. Weekend and holidays are always busy plan before you go.
We routinely visit this goodwill store about a couple times a month. We have pretty good luck finding different items. They have plenty of kids and baby clothes. The line for checking out can get long, but they are good about opening more registers.
This location is tiny and the parking lot is impossible. They offer drop-off even though they dont really have the room to do so. But the selection inside is pretty good.
I like shopping at Thrift Stores, in general. And I like a lot Good Will. But this specific location, is one of the best in my opinion. The Staff seems always in good mood and ready to help. When they have on the Saturdays the 50%, even if has big lines, they go fast. The Sessions are easy to find, lots of options, and what I like more about this locations is the prices. They made me ignore the sensation that I have sometimes, about the need of a good cleaning there. But, until this day, I cant think in another store that has real good stuff with sweet prices. I need to say to myself to not show up there, because I know, I know, when I go... it is always big bags! lol
Always good merchandise. Really nice, helpful, devoted employees. GREAT prices and WONDERFUL stuff! Clean store AND clean items for sale.
Great place. Organized. Gets busy every weekend bc they have some sales on certain color tags. A lot of new things donated from target. Friendly staff. Sundays are very calm here except early hours.
I Love this Goodwill, I come here a few times a week. The staff is very friendly, they always have great deals, lots of dressing rooms, and fair prices! One of cleaner Goodwills.
Good book selection. Clothes selection OK. Staff doesnt interact as much. Not much furniture. Smaller store. Better Goodwills in the area. Very generic.
Prices for used, broken or discarded items in dumpsters are priced here above retail. Staff rude.. May have to call health dept for the odor of unwashed clothing. Racks smelled like sour beer and vomit.
There is always something good you can find. Never leave empty handed. ☺️
They seem to be charging a lot more. Like new and ebay prices. The point of going to a thrift store is to find good deals, not paying what you would pay at a new store.
Can almost always go in and leave with something cool. All goodwills can be hit or miss. The staff if friendly, but i go every week.
Staff are always nice and respectful. Inventory is hit or miss just as all goodwills are but have found really good items here. Always clean.
Love love love this place! Awesome manager sales specials. But when manager sales arent in order prices could be lower!
Not the worst Goodwill. Wash your hands after, obviously. You can find some decent clothes and wares though.
Wasnt very organized compared to other companies but clean and nice folks shopping and working. Donation station outside was nice.
Got here at 8:55pm, asked if I could just view the mens shoes very quickly and was denied access at all by the plus -sized blond haired older woman. Guess Ill just stick with ARC.
Ive had decent experiences at this location up until my most recent visit...i had found a few things, and went to check out. as i approached the only open register (i was the one and only person checking out at the time) the cashier who was operating the register went on to stop me in my tracks and say the like starts over there, hun in a very condescending and snarky tone... keep in mind i was THE ONLY person checking out, and there was no line whatsoever. needless to say i walked out without buying anything. i will definitely not return to this location any time soon.
Its not bad. Ive found $20 in a pocket here once while trying on clothes, so that was cool.
The employees here are very rude!I called AHEAD of time to ask about leaving furniture donations (like it said to do online) and she said they would take it. When i got there they told me they would not take these because they were full. Yet when i called they told me they would! He asked me who had told me but i couldnt remember her name and told him i would call to find out. I asked him if he could make an exception and he said no. even though this was clearly their fault. Then one of the workers very rudely yelled at me and demanded I move my vehicle. The lady on the phone, Skyler, also was not understanding at all. If she is the manager she isnt a good one. I make donations frequently and Ive never had this experience at other locations. I ended up going to Arc where they gladly took my donation.
I know its a thrift store where everything is donated including lots of the time by people working off their community service. However this place is filthy hard to navigate and completely disorganized probably the least hospitable Goodwill in the Denver metro area
I have been going here since I was a kid and continue to do so. Always great finds for a good price! Only location that has seemed to stay true to the Goodwill thrift store prices.
This is the best Goodwill in Denver! A lot more shoes and bags compared to other locations.
We checked out this Goodwill location thinking, because of the location, we might not find anything. Glad we didnt trust our instincts because this has been one of our best Goodwill shopping trips. We found lots of Christmas items, all at significant savings (I compared prices when I got home). Most of the items were new in box, and the ones that werent were in great condition! Staff was also very friendly! Definitely will be back to find more stuff! If you are looking for furniture this is also a great location for that.
Arrived at 2:01pm to donate a car full of items. 5 workers standing in the donation area said they closed at 2pm and would not take our donation. Website said store hours were open until 7pm. Pitiful and rude interaction/experience.
Love this place!!! WIW they are a large GW - and of course the prices are mostly reasonable. I love their selection of audio components. Also they have a lot if furniture. The showcases always have cool treasures. The management there is really nice and works with the customer.
Always find the best deals! The workers are very helpful and always cleaning.
I go for the books! Excellent selection of NYT best sellers for only $1- $2. Not much furniture to choose from at this location.
Hit or miss, like most goodwills. Saturdays are 50% off which is nice but expect to wait in line for 30 minutes because they refuse to open more than one checkout line. Also expect children to be running around and breaking things while being ignored by their guardians that are on the other side of the store.
I call this Goodwill, My library !Always a great selection of books, neatly arranged, at a fabulous price. An adventure, looking for hidden treasures. Took home a Spyder ski jacket. Looked new?, for $21 today. Retail prob 3-$400. I have stumbled on new Clarks, Danskos, Uggs footwear at this store !This Goodwill is reliably clean, organized and staff are friendly. My, go-to Goodwill !!
Love Laura fien shes great with customers and is so sweet and kind. Always fast and helpful.
Best Goodwill around. I can always find high end shoes.
You can find some really good deals here if you look. Got my couch here for only $25.
Something for everyone plus helping others at the same time.
Great shoes behind the glass only $19.99
Very clean and orderly. Clothes are hung by color code.
Large store. Small parking lot. Decent selection. Great staff.
Over priced.. Used (free to them) items with at risk or people doing state mandated free labor (community service) at higher than new prices.. Really? Free labor along with cheap labor and free merchandise means very high profit.. Goodwill gave the minimum (10 percent) to the penny to keep their non profit status.. The rest 31 million in just denver metro went towards lobbying the government... Wheres the goodwill ?
Its a good store with terrible parking. It is better to park in the inner street and walk to the store.
Found a couple of pretty good deals ☺☺
Gotta say that when I went there recently versus when I went there 5 years ago is pretty disappointing. The organization as well as the DVD rack has totally changed. The DVD rack has gone to being in a public spot so the DVDs are more prone to being stolen. Went there for DVDs and clothing and ended up leaving with nothing. Waste of time.
I like the selection of purses and luggage and it is kept pretty organized. Downfall is other areas seem to not have a very big selection and this store seems to always have long lines at the register.
Great prices good finds!!! But it seems they are hiking the prices up😟
Loved the 50%off on a Sunday! Good selection
Small, very limited stock. There are far better thrift stores all over town
Good rotating stock and great deals. Fun staff.
Has definitely changed their overall appearance, cleanliness and organization of the store - nice job Goodwill!
Very nice little shop ole fashioned bit $$ how it use to be and I still think its a bit pricey..
Great cool selections. Friendly and helpful associates.
Love this place!! Great selection of items and prices :)
Very friendly environment especially the donation attendants very reasonable prices always come to this in
THE BEST GOODWILL IVE EVER BEEN IN
The lead cashier Skylar was a great help
Great deals and selection at this location!!
Everyone that works there is very helpful.
This is the greatest Goodwill ibn South Denver. Lots of inventory, great prices.
Just an excellent place to find the right bargain 😊
Sparce and undesirable inventory. Did not find one thing of value or interest here and came a long way to check it out. One of the worst thrift stores Ive ever been to. Highly over priced. Selling target over stock at regular retail price.
You can always find great deals.
Like to buy my jeans from the Good will good finds
This stores staff is really great. Its not in the nicest part of town but they have some pretty cool stuff.
Very higher priced items that are used (,like used things in a box coffee mskers, toasters etc. ) comparable to new items in box. Assuming that employees are not checking boxes if they are used and just assume they are new because they are displayed in box and or item in box doesnt match the box.
Nice place we got a mirror at a supriSelby low price really happy
Love this place. Vintage stuff at good prices
Awesome staff. Great setting.
I always find something special in this store!
