My spring broke last night, I called A1 and they said they could replace them between 2 & 5 PM the next day. I asked them if they had anything sooner and they said they would call back if there was a cancellation. She called back within about 15 minutes and said Jeremy would be out between 10 AM & noon. Jeremy called and said he would be there in 20 minutes. He arrived at 9:45 & was done by 10:15. Jeremy was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable, great service.

Tom was great. Both our springs broke and he came out and fixed them in about 20 minutes. He was running behind from an earlier appointment and called and said he would be late (which was fine since we weren’t in a hurry). Very courteous. We’ve used A-1 garage when our old house would have issues with the garage and now in our new house I wouldn’t think of using anyone else.

I had the most terrible experience with a garage door tech from A1. Upon inspection of my crumbled garage he came to the wrong conclusion. My door ripped off the coils and springs went flying. Screws shot all over the empty floor beneath the door. I never experienced anything like this before. I have used garage doors for over 30 years. This is important.After explaining verbatim what happened, I pushed the button walked away and quickly walked back to an obviously failed installation. I was upset because it was a 4 month old garage. It was just like the right side that has worked successfully for years. The one that was also installed by A1 but my wife was meet with denial when she made that claim. In my 12 years in this business Ive never seen this, Christian, the door tech quipped. There mustve been something under it. There was not.Its an half empty garage that gets used 8 times a month to empty the trash I retorted. I was met with the most condescending, patronizing of responses. User error says the door tech. No accountability for an install he didnt see nor check.We quickly realized that he was determined to not take responsibility for his lack of action. There must of been something to make it uneven. The garage is empty on one side... The side that collapsed. Plus theres a sensor. It lifts up when stuff is under it. There mustve been something . That was the last straw... If something had been blocking the door it would have just gone up.My contractor worked out a repair. He offered to pay for it. Its not his problem and its not mine. It was a warranty that A1 failed to respect and dodged. Im paying out of pocket for the repairs myself. My garage is being repaired by a company that will stand by their work is more important than a free garage from a company with sub par customer care and installation. Again, we had the door for 4 months. He also told us we should have called them when it happened. We did. It happened Saturday. He came monday. A little confused on how he got here if no one called him.I hired Rocky Mountain Garage Doors to rectify the situation. I was met with understanding and explanation. I was also informed that you really cant tell why it was broken by just looking at it and that it could be due to several reasons. I was also shown the tracking that was indeed not in line and could have accounted for the problem. I was also informed that it should always run smooth and not with initial clicks like my garage door had been doing since installation. I gladly paid for the repairs because it was never about free. It was about respect.

Our tenants garage door slipped one track this morning. We called A1 and within two hours a technician arrived. Tom discovered the spring system had snapped. Weve used A1 Garage Doors in the past to replace springs and were very happy with their service. We called them again when our existing 9 year old garage door opener from a big box store started to malfunction and we had already decided to get a new one with better features offered by A1. Danny was able to come out by the next day and got our new opener up and running smoothly without any hassle in early February 2020. The new opener is super quiet and I really appreciated Dannys help answering my questions to compare models and his attention to details.

I must say that was very shocked to be charged 269.00 for todays service . . I had the 262-36 Spring replaced 3 years ago, the garage door cable strand of wire bundle came lose on the left side, which was part the service that was done with the spring . . . it took them 20 minutes to tighten the cables back up . . . I have been over charged for a job that should have been covered under warranty or the most $100.00 . . . I still have not received a receipt for this Job, I have called twice asking for it . . . I have been told that I need a new garage door, which your company can do as well, I would of done this with your company, but from what I have seen today, i have to take my business elsewhere with someone that I can trust after 10 years that I have done with A1 garage doors, you have lost a loyal customer . . .I received a phone call from upper management . . . Josh listened and made corrections, he stated that his customers are everything to the company . . . This is the reason I have been a loyal customer to A1 Garage Doors . . . This was the second time using this company and unfortunately they have lost a customer. We had a good experience the first time and that’s why we called them the second time. They showed up early, which was great but, they said we needed new springs, a new opener and new doors. We had them replace the springs only, which after some research seamed to be about double of the going rate $500.00 +.We unplugged the opener for a couple minutes, plugged it back in and it’s been working fine now for a couple days now. Kind of bummer, as a business owner I know reviews are important.We will take our business elsewhere.An update on my review:A1 reached out to me and I had a conversation with one of the supervisors about my experience. I was impressed with his professionalism and willingness to improve as a company. We had a great talk and I will call them back when needed.

Zero stars. They are frauds. The guy came to my home and told me I needed a brand new garage opener because the motor and mother board were bad. I could hear the motor and the garage opened fine just needed the button replaced as we accidentally stapled the cord. These people are liars and charge me $20 to tell me a lie. Another company that I had a coupon for came by and fixed the button and told me there was nothing wrong with the opener or motherboard. I called the Co to complain and they told me the owner would call me back. They never did. Dont trust this company

Seth at A1 Garage Doors did a great job on my springs and motor. He gave me several options, and let me pick what best fit my needs. My door has never been quieter or worked better!

This company led my mother in law along to assume they could install a garage door for her. After the technician arrived they informed her they could not install the door as it was the technicians “first day” and he sped off. When we called to find out what was going on they changed their story and tried to say we did not have all the correct parts for the job so they couldn’t work on it even they we were in possession of as the gentleman was leaving. Coming from a sales background this is highly unprofessional as the manager Josh backtracked on the story a 3rd time and said their policy cannot install anything outside of new doors after multiple people said they could after multiple phone calls. They were extremely rude to her and we will not be recommending their service to anyone. If I could leave 0 stars I would this was extremely disappointing and frustrating to be a part of.

I had to replace my heavy, moisture soaked wood garage door as the weight made it almost impossible for the mechanical unit to open the door, plus it smelled bad due to the moisture last winter.I gave Lance a call and he came out straight away and in two days I had a new light weight aluminum garage door installed, keeping the cold winter snow out!There were a few glitches getting the door broke in, and Elijah and Lance came out straight away and made adjustments and tweaked the door components and its working great.Give them a call, super response and follow-up service!!

We have called on A1 Garage Doors for almost 10 years now. They have always been friendly, fast, and their customer service is tremendous.Our most recent call was due to a broken spring. I called on a Sunday, and Jeremy was at my home Monday morning at 8am.Not only did Jeremy get the job done quickly, he then spent the time with me to explain in detail options I had going forward regarding a new door, a smart opener, and about a dozen other questions I had for him. Since having my garage door replaced I have had multiple issues with the garage door track coming lose as well as the chain catching when shutting the door and it will reverse and open back up. Not very happy with the quality of work.

Careful here, they told us we needed an entire new system for $1800, had another company come by and fix the issue and do a tune-up for $212. Worker wanted to charge us $175 just to be able to drop the door for us while we wait for the install on top of the install price. When we told the worker we were going to get another quote he got pretty confrontational. Give Don’s garage door a call, they are amazing.Response to owner—-Actually the technician quoted $2600 for both doors, the $1800 was just for the two car garage door which was the one that was stuck. If you would like I can forward you texts from the technician stating that he just got authorization for 2500 out the door??? This was after the technician left, he texted about 10 minutes later. We have all the texts if you would like to see them. Nothing to lie about from our side. Don’s garage door spent about two full hours on the garage door replacing the the parts that needed to be replaced and doing a tune-up, garage door works like new now. Don’s charged us $212 for everything...including “dropping the garage door” to a shut position which your technician was going to charge us $175 for alone.

What an awesome company for garage doors repair! Sent an inquiry earlier in the week about having someone come and take a look at our garage doors. I wasnt sure of the condition of our garage door so I wanted someone to take a look and see what was causing our door to squeak and make so much noise. Also, I wanted to upgrade my old garage door opener with something new that would connect to my smartphone. Hosea came out and was super professional and probably the nicest contractor Ive ever met. He was upfront and very honest about the condition of my garage door. He went over my options and went over the plan of upgrades that I had wanted for in the garage. About a couple hours later I was now humming along with a new lift master garage door opener and a lube and tune garage door that makes no noise what-so-ever. Hosea went over all the new features of the new garage door opener with me and double checked that all the bolts on the door were tighten down. He also corrected the wiring from the last installed door opener to be sure they wouldnt get tangled up on my door and cause any future damage. Really amazing job and Im happy! Shout out to Hosea!

A-1 was the original installer of my garage door opener probably five years ago and I was impressed by their level of professionalism at that time. Everything went off without a hitch. And I have not had any problems since. Until one day last week when the door stopped working. I called the office and they were more than willing to work around my schedule to set an appointment. Christian was at my house at the time agreed upon and knew immediately what the problem was. It took him about ten minutes to align the sensors and even gave me a part I was missing off my remote to enable me to clip it on my visor. All this at no charge to me because I am a previous customer. I would recommend this local business to anyone and already have to my neighbor. Great company with great people. I just had them install new double side insulated doors (with windows) along with new bluetooth enabled openers. They do great work, haul all the old stuff away, are helpful and friendly. All at a very fair price.Simply put, I give them my highest recommendation!

Excellent communication from start to finish. Jeremy did a excellent job with installation, showing up on time and the after care instructions he gave me for the new garage was greatly appreciated. Will definitely use them again for future garage needs.

Update so my garage door got hit by my roommate. Rollers broken and rails bent. Called A1 they came out that day and fixed my door. When the guy showed me the bent rails he stated I might start to think of a new door. I then asked the price which was very reasonable so I went with the insulated door. They came out the next week put it in while I was at work. I LOVE my new door and the garage is nice and warm no wind coming in. I can not believe the difference well worth the price. The installers and the people in the office were great! I highly recommend this company. If I could I would give them 10 stars.Very professional, friendly, Knew just what was wrong. Fixed it fast and even gave me tips on how to keep up the maintenance on the opener. I would definitely call them again. My tech was the best in customer service that I have ever experienced.

Installation of garage door opener was very fast and professionally done. The tech, Josh, was very good. Same day service was great. The price was very good as well. He answered all questions and gave me a good understanding of the process and my garage door needs. Likewise, my installer, Jeremy West, showed up exactly on time, and in an impressive display of talent and technique, dismantled my old door and opener, and installed all new equipment (door, rails, opener, etc.) all by himself in a little over two hours. Jeremy was also a pleasure to be around. I felt the company deserves the highest rating I can give it.

I had one of my garage door springs break. I have used A1Garage Doors in the past and had a wonderful experience. So I reached back out when I needed help this time. I got an appointment the very next morning and greeted by a very nice customer service employee to set my appointment. Robert, my service tech, called me prior to him arriving, showed up within the 2 hour window, was amazingly friendly and very knowledgable. He not only came and just changed out my spring, he did a complete check on my door, motor, tracks, along with the springs. He provided all of my options so that I could make the right decision for myself. He took great care of me and the service was stellar. I would highly recommend using A1 Garage Doors over any other company. The service, products, and customer service is very above and beyond and I will definitely be doing business with them in the future!!!

The service fee was super reasonable and they came within 24 hours of my call-I was very happy that they even showed me some quick fixes I could doin my own in the future should I have the issue again.

We have used this company several times in the past - they installed our two garage openers ~14 years ago, and have replaced springs in the past. We recently had to replace another spring on our main door, so opted to have both springs replaced at the same time. Labor cost was reasonable - keep in mind that this is a potentially dangerous job with insurance costs, etc... The springs are more expensive than what you may typically see online, but they are 30000+ cycle Springs, and have a 10 year warranty. The warranty is clearly stated on the receipt which is emailed to you. The Springs installation went smoothly and our door is working again - Thanks!

We had a great experience with A1 and will highly recommend them to all our friends and family. After having a garage door tune up done with another company, we were told that we needed to replace our garage door springs and quoted an outrageous price. We called around and spoke to several other garage door companies and A1 was nearly half the price of our original quote and someone was available to come out the next morning. Josh answered our call and was very knowledgeable and got us scheduled right away. Taylor came out and changed our springs the next day and we were very happy with his work. In todays world, as homeowners, its difficult to distinguish who we trust to perform any required emergency repair services. Normally we do our own, what we can, but a garage door torsion spring replacement, is like asking typical homeowners to purchase flame torch and solder copper fittings instead of licensed plumber.
