We were looking to upgrade our landscaping around our new house. We knew we wanted a smaller palm close to the house but we were unsure what to purchase. We went to Gulf Breeze and were immediately approached by an employee who showed us the different varieties and explained the rate of growth and how big they would get.We settled on 3 trunk bottle palm and set up installation. We were told about 5-7 days for the install but it was done in 3 days. The install team was friendly and efficient and provided me with instructions on how to care for our new tree.From start to finish we had a really good experience with the Gulf Breeze staff. We will certainly go back and recommend them to anyone who asks.

The clerks who walked around with us knew everything there is to know about their plants, plant care and how to get them safely in the ground. Ordered 4 coconut palms over the phone and when they arrived they exceeded my expectations! Beautiful palms and the guys that installed them were very professional. They gave a lot of attention to detail to make sure they were installed correctly and answered all my questions about care. Quality work!

We are extremely disappointed with our experience at Gulf Breeze. My husband and I spent a lot of time looking for the right mini barn for our property and found one we liked on their lot.We were told in order to purchase the barn we needed to speak with the owner Mike. We called him on a Wednesday afternoon to verify that the barn was still available- he said, Yes it was available and that we needed to make an appointment to come in and pay for it. We made an appointment for 930 am Thurs (the very next morning.) We arrived on time to pay for the building only to discover they had sold it to someone else an hour before we arrived. We won’t be returning or giving them any of our business in the future due to dishonest practices.

Sundance, the new owner, is a super great guy. Stop in to see him and his staff and don’t forget to ask him about Fruita.

2 stars. 1 star goes to very polite girl that sold me the tree and the other star goes to nice and patient guys that took the time to plant the tree for me. As for Mike Mullins the arrogant and condescending owner that called me to confirm the time of the drop off of the tree makes me never want to buy anything from here again. I have never been treated so rudely over the phone for something as simple as confirming a drop off. He basically insulted my intelligence over the phone and was extremely rude to me. Too bad because we were interested in buying some more trees to fill out our front yard of our new house and I felt that the guys did a good job of planting the tree we bought. We will be using another landscaping company all because of the way Mike treated me over the phone and I wasnt shocked to read the other reviews to see that this wasnt an isolated incident of his condescending attitude towards his customers.

We had a great experience at the garden center buying a foxtail palm. We worked with Tori and she was very personable & knowledgeable. We’ve been to some other garden centers and Tori’s customer service far exceeded any of them. We’ll definitely be back to buy some more plants! Dealt with Cheryl / Sheryl (unsure of spelling). She was a bit rude, didn’t listen and interjected while we were explaining what we needed. Seemed very rushed and that was off putting as we are trying to do an entire landscaping with a friend and needed somebody who would listen to our needs and explain how to go about things.

I love plant nurseries. This has to be one of the best Ive ever been to. Their plants are beautiful and extremely healthy. Their Palm trees look like they were hand selected by the owners (or whoever does the ordering) themselves. They have a good variety of landscaping plants and unique plants. Its all very well organized. I even got to do a little nature watching in the back! Lots of birds in the stream. Thank you for the plants and the experience! This is well worth the trip, and Ill definitely be back! ❤️

Ive driven by this place 100 times and finally decided to go in. A very nice employee immediately came over and ask if I needed help (I very much did) and she helped me find the right plants for my garden. I also had my toddler with me so she helped me carry plants and load them into my car. This is now my go-to place for plants and gardening needs!

I was literally just chased out of this business for asking a question. I am a contractor looking to develop a relationship with this business and spend thousands of dollars. These people are obviously not from this area. Extremely rude and condescending. Go down the street and save yourself the time. People like this dont belong in the retail industry. For the record we were dealing with the owners wife. Poor man.Furthermore I never demanded a thing. I simply asked a question and was yelled at and treated like Garbage. Oak Farms was far more accommodating.

The owners have helped me and my wife with any and all questions. They have provided advise that has helped make our gardens come to life. We wouldnt shop at any other garden center. Love this place. 5 stars every day! Our names are Annie & Al Schrul

This nursery is wonderful! They have ample staff to take care of customers, you can ask them Anything about their plants, fertilizers, etc, and they know about all their products! They are also open 7 days a week, they close at 4:00 on Sunday, but its well worth the trip!

CONSUMER BEWARE! I bought a landscape plan for $150. I was told at the time I gave them that money that itd applied to work done. However, I do not want to implement the entire plan. After getting it home and orienting myself as to what all those plants were, I wanted to start small and add as I went along, to see what itd look like. Now owner Mike Mullins tells me repeatedly within the scope of a 4 minute conversation that I only get the $150 credited back if I have the whole job done. I was NEVER informed of that, so they keep the money.

I was discussing my lawn needs with an Emoloyee and another employee came up and interrupted and literally grabbed her by the hair to hold onto her and said “this lady needs help with trees.” So she left me to go help another customer. The rudest thing ever and terrible customer service. Will not return Would give zero stars if it was an option

Had a great designer. The whole time the crew was here they just complained about the job. They didnt even plant all the items that were bid. on the job. Tried to get them to come back and check on plants I didnt feel were doing well and they wont even return my call. Stopped in and they took my contact information and it has been 3 weeks and no call. Their guarantee isnt worth much.

Went to buy a 700 plus dollar tree after we saw a week earlier. Overweight fat guy on a golf cart came up to an older couple with a dog and asked is that your car with Tennessee tags. Couple said yes and this guy said well your parked on my irrigation line and we have a whole parking lot in the front you can park in. Its the Asphalt lot with yellow lines, park between them. Do you need a bag for your dog or do you already have one? Guy was a total mean unfriendly person. We turned around and left and didnt buy the tree after his mean comments. No wonder no one was there on a Sunday.

Didnt get what I wanted or paid for, lousy job, grumpy owner!We had a really nice salesman come to our home to make a plan for replacing sod in an uneven area, making a walk, a small landscape design area and 2 drains. He came up with a great plan, so I didnt argue price.1st problem. they showed up late. They decided to do a smaller job on the way to mine that morning,even though I made the appointment for them to come at a certain date and time more than a month in advance. This started a a cascade of problems. It messed up the timing of other contractors, e.g. plumber and sprinkler, and the designer couldnt stay to over see the job because he had another appointment later that morning (would not have had that problem if they were there on time).2nd problem, Owner tried to claim that the walk wasnt in the contract, even though I had brought the blocks to his store for him to approve ahead of my purchasing them and having them delivered before the job. I even had to lay most of them myself in order for me to get them the way I wanted them, They even broke a sprinkler head, right down to the pipe, so that cost me to have fixed (no they didnt offer to do it).3rd, they didnt bring enough sod or plugs. I ran to Lowes to get extra plugs to go between the blocks. but I was left for weeks with a dirt area, that when they finally came to fill, they did when I wasnt at home and covered sprinklers, went over a section of a drain that will be impossible to mow, and some areas still bare. The sod they laid originally, was literally falling apart when they put it down so very lumpy and uneven, and now is actually dying. So my primary reason for replacing the sod was so I could walk without tripping, but I am still tripping because it is so uneven!4th, a few of the plants in the landscaped area didnt take, but they have not replaced them. Also, the stone laid was not of sufficient depth to stop the grass and weeds from coming through in less than 1 monthLastly, when the salesman came back to my house, he said he would make it right and get back to me within a few days. Although they came back with the sod, I never heard from them again.
