Weve wanted a hot tub for years. Our online research led us to Presque Isle Hot Tubs, and we couldnt be happier with our investment. Our hot tub was delivered in August, a few months after we initially purchased it; this was due to the time it took to have a cement pad poured. We contacted Ryan as soon as we were ready to take possession. The entire process, from purchase to delivery and set-up couldnt have gone more smoothly. Wed like to add that a family member is an electrician that has been involved in wiring a number of hot tubs throughout Erie County, and he was highly impressed with the quality of our hot tub as compared to the many hes wired through his work. Weve used our new hot tub almost daily and cant say enough good things about Ryan, Hot Springs spas, and Presque Isle Hot Tubs. They have our highest recommendation!

We are very pleased with our new Hot Springs tub! The staff are very knowledgeable and pleasant. When the tub came in, we werent quite ready to have it delivered and they kindly agreed to store it for us for 3 weeks. At delivery, the placement of the electricity wasnt quite right but they were able to make it work. They thoroughly explained how to maintain it as this is our first hot tub. Then they called us a few days later to make sure we didnt have any problems or questions. Highly recommend Presque Isle hot tubs, they are a top notch local business!

I hope those who are interested in buying will take the time to read this. I want to start with our buying experience which was great! Ryan had answers to all of our questions and gave a compelling pitch for us to buy from a local company who had been servicing and selling the same hot tub for nearly 40 years. We purchased ours during the pandemic so we had a long wait ahead of us and Ryan was upfront about that. We did end up waiting about a month longer than anticipated and we would have appreciated more communication or “check ins” to let us know about the additional wait time. Once they came to install, Mark was very very helpful and knowledgeable. We were all set up and just waiting for the tub to get up to temp that night so we could use it. The next morning I realized there was a puddle of water around the base of the tub and after opening the tub realized it had a LEAK! Our brand new, nearly $11k hot tub had a leak. I called the store immediately and talked with Ryan about the issue. There was a long pause and he said something to the effect of “okay, we can see if we can get someone out there today and if not it will be tomorrow”. In my head I’m thinking ‘if I’m a customer service professional who sells big ticket items and someone’s first experience in the 24 hours of ownership is the worst case scenario’ then I would be reassuring the customer that we’ll take care of this. We did not receive even a hint of an apology in this initial call. It turned out the leak was due to the position it was shipped in and a jet housing needed to be replaced. Mark mentioned that if it weren’t for the long wait times due to COVID, this would likely be a reason to replace the entire unit. At this point, they tear into our brand new tub and we see that the inner panel is saturated. Mark made a few comments like “I think we have a little bit of extra insulation at the shop that we can use to replace what’s there”. This is not exactly what you want to hear when talking about your investment needing repairs. They ended up doing a full repair with the promise of some free supplies for our troubles. Ryan said he just needed to get the okay from Hot Springs on what they were willing to give and then Presque Isle would front the items until they received the replacements from the distributor. It has now been nearly 3 months since our hot tub was delivered and the repairs were made, and we are still waiting on our “compensation items”. I called Ryan two weeks ago because the trim piece on the side of our spa is falling off. He mentioned there would be no repairman availability until the following week. I called him again today (6/25) he said they didn’t have a chance to come look at it yet. That would not be a big deal at all but a little communication and customer service goes a long way. A simple call is all that was needed. The hot tub itself is great and we love it. My interactions with Mark have been mostly positive. Ryan has an response to everything and a way of making you feel like you’re being unreasonable. I was very open and honest with him in our conversations, going so far as to tell him why we weren’t very satisfied with his level of customer service after they had our money, but he seems to have a reason or response for everything. I could go on and on about other interactions, but at the end of the day my wife and I had very high hopes for this company and so far they haven’t come close to satisfying them. We are very concerned about how any additional needs will be handled going forward over the lifetime of our tub.

We bought a used hot tub and while installing it we broke the heating element. Never owning a hot tub before we brought the entire heating setup into multiple spa places locally, asking if they had the thing in stock. Most didn’t even know what it was I was bringing them.Enter Ryan at Presque Isle... he knew exactly what the part was and informed me I only needed the heating element piece, which was far cheaper than the entire heating tube thing. He also had it in stock, grabbed it and I was out the door. He answered my questions while I was there. I returned home, installed the new heating element and it worked like a charm. Ryan was the only person I spoke to in town that had a clue. You can tell he knows spas and is an expert. So thankful he pointed me in the right direction and even provided guidance, when I didn’t even buy our spa there. Very helpful! I’m so grateful for his advice and service, they’ve earned our chemical business for life. Thanks again Ryan!

Bought used/refurbished hottub from them. It was a few month out of warranty when it died. They promptly came and fixed it. They fixed it for free because they felt it was the right thing to do. I was amazed. These guys are Awesome. God bless you.

No one else in the entire store but you still insisted we wear a mask... so unfortunately for you we bought a $10,000 spa at another business!

My husband and I have been looking for a hot tub for about a month. With a quick “ thought of the moment” we went and bought online ... second guessing ourselves we started looking around... as we made an effort to stop in the actual store to speak with Ryan, we felt like we couldn’t ask questions with out getting a clear answer ... eventually Ryan had made a comment about the only reason we were not buying was cause “ financially” ... which I’m sorry but if someone is looking for a hot tub regardless of their budget in mind you don’t say that to potential customers... a tad irritated ... my husband and I both were on the same page when we left.. we felt belittled and annoyed with all the pointless information given with the questions we had asked, But after talking and weighing pros and cons we wanted to go ahead and buy locally ...regardless of how arrogant Ryan was. I talked to Ryan shortly after leaving trying to make a deal with getting it delivered a little sooner than we had talked about. My last conversation I specifically stated we are most likely going to sign paperwork I just wanted to confirm with my husband everything ... with short notice and the store closing Ryan called me with a voicemail stating he was leaving for the day and I had missed his call .. thinking I’d hear from him first thing in the morning Monday (cause you know great salesmanship) he would reach out and ask what we decided.. that was not the case I had worked Monday and once I got out j had to call the store to happily tell him we were available to come get the hot tub ourselves ... well he SOLD THE TUB we had basically verbally tried to hold .. as I know they are not hurting for sales right now which is great and awesome for a locally owned business the way my husband and I had been treated from the moment he made a comment about our financial status to him selling the tub with out even checking in with me was rude, disappointing, and poor salesmanship. Unfortunately they do sell good hot tubs .. but “my financial status” will go else whereThe response to this review shows how poor you treat people . Your salesman should have called me first thing in the morning, as a good salesman, made me at least feel like we are appreciated, and worth the time .. since we did in fact spend so much time in the show room, on the phone asking multiple questions, you could clearly see we were interested .. and with my phone call before you left... I got a voicemail that I still have that says you would be in touch !

After having a horrific experience at another hot tub facility; we thought that we would give Presque Isle a try. From the moment we entered the door, to the time we had our spa delivered, Presque Isle has exceeded our expectations!! They are friendly, knowledgeable, and their hot tubs are of high quality. I would highly recommend this store and the brand of spa they carry. I have nothing negative to say about this company. The sales rep was very educated in the product.. there was no surprises when we got our spa. We knew exactly what to expect. The owner stayed with us the day our tub arrived, taught us how to take care of the water, took his time to review our owners manual in detail, and patiently answered all of our questions. Presque Isle adds the little special touches that makes the customer experience even that much better.. they sent a card in the mail thanking us for choosing their company and called the day after the hot tub arrived to answer any questions we may have had. If I had any advice ... stop looking and shop at Presque Isle!! You will not be disappointed!

I Purchased a Flare Hot Springs salt water spa in May 2018. Ryan and Mark were excellent to work with! I spent about 3 months searching for the ideal spa and went to all of the local retailers as well as another out of the area. At Presque Isle, I was informed but never pressured. There was a small issue with the manufacturers recommended length of the ACE coil in the 2018 spas. They were at my house the same day to adjust it and everything works perfectly! It is awesome to know you can count on them if needed. I will definitely be a life long customer!! Great product and great people!

This is the second hot tub we have purchased from Presque Isle hot tubs. So we have dealt with them for a long time. Our previous one had to be serviced a couple of times in the 12 years we owned it. And they were always excellent with the service (one time even taking it back to the shop and then re-turning it fixed one week later). We are redoing our back patio and the old hot tub was in the way, but they came out and removed it and then brought the new one three weeks later when the patio was done. What an excellent company they are to do business with.

We have been dealing with Presque Isle Hot Tubs for about 10 years now. We recently purchased a new Prodigy model, and couldn’t be happier. The staff has always been friendly and very knowledgeable. Whenever we needed service, they always responded promptly and fixed the problem the first time, even when someone broke into our hut tub in the middle of winter and everything froze. Great people terrible in store service. Purchased a tub that was supposed to be a certain year and found out it was one year older. Errors were made with the equipment received and in store staff simply told us “they were a history major...” I avoid at all costs.

Didnt they tell you what you need? Maybe you should ask the people you bought it from. Needless to say I left empty handed. Seriously!! You cant buy chemicals or get help unless you bought it there..

Ive had two bad experiences with this company- 1st i went to buy chemicals and waited forever to be waited on, just to be told to go to wherever i purchased my pool from if i needed help 2nd i googled another competitor name because of their stellar customer service just to find out that this company stole their name! I called Presque Isle by accident because they stole someone elses name.... Let your product and team speak for itself, dont sink to a unprofessional level and try to mislead customers. DONT USE THIS COMPANY....
