We hired Arco Iris to do our granite countertops and were happy with the work they did. We were able to get 2 remnant pieces for our kitchen and save a little money in doing so. We received the installation within 2-3 weeks of hiring them and it was done in a few hours by the two workers. I recommend this company for your granite updates.

I have depended on Charlie to design a number of granite items for me over the past couple of years. He made my granite counter tops in the kitchen, along with a granite table top, also, for the kitchen. They installed a one inch plywood support board on the bottom side of the granite table top, along with four stainless table legs. Charlie also made a very nice Lazy Susan to match the granite that was used on the kitchen table. They replaced three bathroom laminate counter tops with granite. I have a large coffee table with cast iron legs and a wood top…I just recently replaced the wood top with a beautiful piece of granite. I could not be happier with the various patterns of granite that I selected, with Charlie’s help, for each job…and the quality of the workmanship has been the best. I have always been impressed with the quick turn-a-round time, the reasonable pricing and the excellent, professional installation for all of the granite tops. Charlie is a pathetic business owner. If I could give negative stars I would. A very large, and expensive, counter top was purchased for a new kitchen remodel. During the installation the granite was damaged. Charlie came personally and saw the damage and said if he needed to cut a new piece he would. But, when the time comes to fix the damaged piece he denies it and then decides to get nasty with everyone and refuses to do anything. On the phone he will say whatever you want him to say but then will text you acting all big and bag taking back everything he said. He doesnt even know my clients name!! Hes been dealing with them for weeks, even has a contract, but cant even call her by the right name. All he is worried about is getting the check. As soon as he gets the check he doesnt care what happens. Ive never met a person who blatantly says AND I QUOTE I would like to help you but I have no interest in arguing or hearing about your damage replacement theory. Dont waste your time or your money with this joke of a business.

My husband and I could not have been more satisfied with Arco Iris. The entire project turned out great and we are so glad we chose this company. Ive been searching for about 2 years to find the right fabricator. I felt comfortable with Arco Iris and one thing that really set them apart from the other fabricators is their quote sheet. It was detailed and transparent. The installation guys were courteous and patient as well.

This vendor was extremely professional and easy to work with. They walked us through the process of selecting our granite, took precise measurements and installed it perfectly. They gave us a great price for a beautiful piece of granite. We love our kitchen and our granite countertops looks fantastic. I would definitely recommend this company.

STAY AWAY! Charlie Schneider is threatening to place a lien on my clients home. His craftsmanship was EXTREMELY poor on the counter top project for my clients home. Multiple granite and quartz experts were consulted after the counter tops were made to get a 2nd and 3rd professional opinion to determine if our opinion was incorrect. We were not wrong. Charlie did not make the counter tops as agreed upon by the home owner, the designer (myself), the cabinet contractor, and the general contractor. All of us were present at the time that the plan for the counter tops was made. He claimed that there would only be one seam in the counter top. There are currently 2 very uneven seams in obvious places. The front of the counter top varies 7/8 in. in depth. Both of the other experts in the field that examined the work, stated it was done to allow Charlie to save a larger remnant so that he could double dip on my clients investment and turn around and sell the remnant to another person. Charlie sent me a text that stated I quote, We do granite/quartz on our terms Not yours not customer not contractor That is not the type of person ANYONE wants to work with. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND USE SOMEONE ELSE!

Outstanding job!My entire house was done by Arcoiris Granite - kitchen, bathrooms and bar.The crew was very professional, the work was done in a timely manner and the granite was of high quality. I was able to get at least a 10% discount compared to other vendors. I would highly recommend this company to others and I plan to use them for future work in my home as well.

My remodel project was at the point of needing to make a decision regarding hard surface material. I wanted at least one more quote and discovered Arco-Iris Granite during an internet search. My initial contact with Charlie resulted in a prompt (and appealing) preliminary quote followed by granite selection, custom measuring, fixture selection, final quote and expert installation. Every step throughout the entire process either met or exceeded my expectations. A small family owned and operated company that I do not hesitate to recommend.

Worst service, damaged granite during installation on and poor installation with wide seams, Charlie stole our second purchased slab and claimed it was destroyed without reimbursement. We could easily take them to court, but instead we are cutting our losses. We are warning others of their horrible professionalism, etiquette and installation. STAY AWAY! I have 100% proof of receipt and emails to prove that we were customers despite what he says.

Charlie Schneider is a nut case and so is his company. Installed cracked granite and will not replace it. Will not return phone calls. Do not give him your money. Leaves a mess and never returns once he gets your money you have to sue him.

Charles Schneider installed a faulty piece of granite that I did NOT select from the showroom and attempted to cash a check that I had to put a stop payment on after he quit returning my calls. I urge you to go somewhere else. He will attempt to say they are natural imperfections after pulling a switch on you. Total con-man. I am filing a claim in small claims court as I have heard he will put a lien on your property. He cam and installed a piece that looked like it had two big pieces of duct tape on it.

I wish I could give zero stars!! This man ripped my parent off and refuses to make it right. He did not deliver the granite at all, first stating he lost the measurements then saying he did not have the granite they picked out. He is a crook and if you choose to use this company do so at your own peril. In a country where the little man is struggling to stay in business to large national competitors like Home Depot, Lowes, etc., you would think supporting small business would be the way to go. Well NOT in this case. There is little if any accountability and no real repercussions for this quasi criminal behavior. Arco Iris is a SCAM and run by nothing more than a common thief hiding behind loopholes in the law.

Our experience with owner Charles Schneider and his company Arco-Iris Granite, LLC has absolutely been the WORST experience of our lives. We have hired many companies to do various jobs around our home from roofing and siding, to plumbing, and even an electrician – and never had any problems.In 2012 we hired Arco Iris to install granite in our kitchen. When Mr. Schneider was seeking to earn our business, he was polite, answered all of our questions and said “yes” to all of our requests, so we hired him. It was only after the installation began that we realized his politeness was really just the carefully practiced disguise of a snake oil salesman – and that him saying “yes” to our requests did not actually mean he intended to meet our requests. For example, he promised to properly support our under-mounted sink with brackets, sand smooth the underside of the granite on our kitchen bar and that the seams in our granite would be “invisible” – none of this turned out to be true. What was worse, there were glaring defects in workmanship such as the countertops not fully covering our cabinets and the granite backsplashes not fully covering the new countertops.During the installation, we immediately called Mr. Schneider as we saw these problems arising - but he refused to return our calls. Then, when his workers reported they were “finished” and we said we were not happy with the work, they told us there was nothing they could do – that we would have to “talk to Charles”. At that point, we informed them we would not be paying them the other half of the contract amount until the work was completed as promised and to our satisfaction – so they left. This prompted a surprise visit to our home by Mr. Schneider at 9pm that same night. He stormed into our house, agitated from the moment we opened the door to him, took one look at the work his men had done in our kitchen, and then proceed to yell and scream at us and demand we pay him for his “perfect job” or else he would file a lien against our home. It was completely appalling how unprofessional this Jekyll and Hyde became when there was a problem with his company’s work.To make a long story short, he did file a lien against our home, we filed a lawsuit against him (learned then that he has been involved in MANY lawsuits against him and his company) and after three years we finally got all of his crappy work replaced in our kitchen at the expense of Arco-Iris Granite.Take our advice, save yourself the years of frustration and attorney’s fees – do not hire Arco-Iris to install granite for you, and do not hire its owner, Mr. Charles Schneider, for ANY reason

Worst experience ever with a contractor. Stay Away!!!Horrible craftsman. Sued him in small claims court in Butler County.

I would give negative stars if I could. I hired them to go an 80 sq ft kitchen & a 16 sq ft laundry room counter from a remnant. They tried to squeeze all of this from 2 slabs with a known imperfection in the corner...& wouldnt you know it...they put that imperfection right across my counter after I asked him multiple times to avoid it. They forgot the laundry room piece & never delivered it with no refund either. Their work was shotty at best & pathetic in most instances. I have crooked seams that were sanded to fit, chips with fill throughout (with a 2 x 1 1/2 inch area in front of my sink!)...just a mess!! and they left a mess as well...glue all over my cabinets & a layer of dust throughout my house. Charlie, the owner, resorts to bullying with name calling when you try to talk to him...& will not own up to any of his work. Not a proud craftsman,,,not a craftsman at all really.

Would NEVER do business with Charlie Schneider. He takes your money and you never hear from him again. When he messes up your kitchen and installs defective granite, you will never hear from him again! Do not use this man. He is a con man!!!
