10:30 Monday morning. Not only were there several employees loading crates/carts for mobile orders zipping through the aisles, there were MANY employees pushing large metal blue things around while using hand held devices to do inventory(?). So the aisles were very busy with little regard for customers.In addition, there was only ONE staffed check out line, no bagger to help. The line of customers stretched halfway down the aisle waiting to check out.Unacceptable customer service in my opinion.

The store is a ways from my house and I wanted to make sure they had the item I needed. Simple solution.***** just call and ask***for 2 days at different times I called and it rang and rang and rang. No one ever answered! If they had, I would have given the 5 stars! To be fair, I had the same problem at the San Marcos Walmart!

This neighborhood Walmart is just focus on groceries, cleaning supplies, and school supplies. Its so different than other Walmart. They have scan and go check out, which is so convenient.

If I could I would give this no stars I loved the fact that I was able to order and get it delivered to my house after trying out the free trial I paid to subscribe, first couple deliveries were awesome they even got here before my delivery time, but recently they suddenly changed my address and have been sending my drivers to the wrong address yet it states my home address, complained to customer service and they reach out to the store and said they would fix the problem so it wouldn’t happen again, well it happened AGAIN for the 4th time! I shouldn’t have to call my drivers to hunt down my groceries it’s absolutely ridiculous, I’m done with you Walmart not even your employees want you

Usually pretty clean, compared to most Walmart locations. The staff is always friendly and helpful, from my experiences. Sometimes they run out of stuff but at a much lesser rate than the standard Walmart locations. Usually never nearly as crowded either. All around a good location for quick trips or anything else Walmart carries other than clothes and toys. So if you’re like me and don’t have kids, skip the traditional Walmart across the street and shop here instead.

Cashier was very nice and polite!!!! I find everything that I need the only bad thing is when I got in my car they were cleaning the parking lot and I just went to wash my car before I went to Walmart when back.... it was all all dirty and dusty the man that it was cleaning the parking lot with a blower ..... I went to him and I let him know that I just washed my car he was very unprofessional and very rude!!!!!

This place is close to my pad and very clutch. I wish they stayed open past 10 pm. Its always busy at any given time. Lots of RV campers and weird people in the lot. But like I said its clutch for groceries and I love the self checkout line.

Heres all I wanted. Im impressed because I need the latest and new goods in this grocery store. Theyve got it all, and Im glad that their workers are really supportive and polite. I was powerless to press these guys for more because I had a wonderful time with them. Keep up with the good job!

Got some hard object in my muffins that I bought here. Its not even food I dont think and sure not chewable!

Wow. Besides the great prices on most items, the variety of foods and merchandise was quite impressive. Found everything i needed plus a lot more.

Its Walmart I go for the low prices but I still like to buy food from my local super market. I go to my small town market and the meat department is supper excellent so I do like to shop local its alway the best if you are looking for quality and that what Im looking for .

I went in there bought my groceries and bought a 12 dollar beef jearky bag full of mold.... went back to return it and tell the manager about it.. no where to be found. In the end they didnt even bother to make the experience less horrible. After I told them I consumed the top layer all they said was oh disgusting. If I get sick which I feel my throat closing as I write this I will be speaking to a lawyer. Its ridiculous how no concern was even brought to notice.

This is a great place to get into and out of. They keep the shelves well stocked but, the produce selection is a little slim but the have the basics.

Very disappointed that shelves are not full. So many items are missing. I have difficulty with both Walmart stores in Escondido that I have to go to other stores to find what I need.

Its really easy to find what youre looking for inside the store. Just look at the signs of whats in the aisle and you can find whatever you need.

Nice fresh produce and other items that you need for everyday needs

Tried a new roasted chicken today, and wow! Best grocery store roasted chicken I think Ive had. Very good. Pretty much my go to Walmart for this area, but especially good today.

There were only 3 checkout stands open with long very lines. The self checkout lines were even longer. It also was very busy. Without a person out side keeping track of how many people were going in & out. This place is definitely not worth going to if you youre trying 2 avoid big crowds.

Long lines. People need to quit milking covid and apply. Lol

The carts are not always clean nor push well. Prices are better than like Vons. Its hit and miss regarding in stock items.

Get rid of self checkout!! I want people not machines...The people are great, the machines suck!!

I like this store because its conveniently located, its kept clean and tidy, plus they have a great selection of the products I buy on a regular basis, at reasonable prices. The customer service at Walmart Neighborhood Market is the BEST! Help is always available when you need it the most from employees wholl go above and beyond the call of duty to get you the help you need in a friendly, responsive manner.5 stars for sure! 😃

This place is very convenient, has great produce. Lots of self check out registers, which I always use. Their French bread they bake on site is the best in town! Trust me, Ive definitely compared. Ladies at the deli counter are always helpful and nice.

Try the Chocolate Chip pancakes in the freezer section! Also sugar-free Popsicles are yummy. No after taste.

I decided to go to this Wal-Mart to see what they have different then the other one close to home. My son luv the Hawian food there

Great store and immaculate! Employees were friendly, helpful and store was stocked nicely. Everything easy to find. With all the covid19 issues going on, it was nice to walk into a place of business and see that the employees were happy to be there and working and happy to see their customers. This was my first visit to this store as I had an appointment near that store and though I dont live nearby, I will make it a point to visit when in Escondido again.

Its alright...its Walmart. Nothing remarkable, really. Its one of the rare places its acceptable for a worker to tell you I dont know when you ask where something is. And then they continue walking by or walk off. Then youre like...Im trippin this is Walmart. Prices are low, sometimes you get what ya came for sometimes you dont cause they ALWAYS run out of things. Not COVID media fueled apocalypse run out. But whoever orders stuff is reading the wrong projections out or doesnt realize if it sells out before you have more, you should increase your order quantity! But its whatever. You go back when you need to because its CHEAP.

Good place for a quick stop, but they are pretty disappointing with the curb side pickup seevice which is why I rated it low.Half the time they have no items available even though online it gave no indication they were out, and staff too lazy or busy to substitute. For example, no 16 oz hunts tomato sauce and zero attempts to substitute with any other sauce. They do the same with vegetables, sometimes the workers give wrong items. Like parsley instead of cilantro, or cucumbers instead of squash. I wish I was kidding, but its pretty hot or miss, mostly miss.

I come to this store just because of the prices of some of the items, they are just a little better than other stores but their meat has gone up and it doesnt seem like it goes on sale. The produce department is not the best in stock and prices are higher than across the street. In stock levels on some items are out or low depending on what time you buy your groceries since they only stock the items when their load gets there and it seems for some items thats late in the evening.

I STOPPED going to other grocery stores because at Walmart grocery the food is the same or better quality and its Soooo much cheaper folks. Try it just once and buy the things you normally buy. Then check out your savings. They seem to have a few things at this branch of Escondido Walmart that even the main store, a little ways away, doesnt have. I end up coming here more. Right by Carls Jr., too.

Love this is mostly food and cheap prices.

They are totally following CDC guidelines. Thete is a security guard outside sanitizing shopping cart handles and monitoring shoppers to make sure they have face coverings. Social distancing protocols are in place ad well as crowd control and foot traffic markers.They are constanly restocking shelves. A little irksome but necessary. It is really a good thing, as many items return to the shelves, finally.Last, but not least...you cannot beat Walmart prices.

Not to crowded face masks and social distancing a must not sure about how often they sanitize though.

This location is clean and the staff is nice. On occasion they are out of stock on some items, but overall they have a large selection and decent prices.

Love Walmart but it just doesnt seem like Walmart loves us as the customers. We used to have friendly cashier that would help us check out. Now we are forced to use self check out. So sad searching for the American way where you used to get paid for your labor.

Employees are always quick to help, store is always clean and almost always well stocked. I come here about 2 or 3 times a week. And i almost never have problems finding what I need or with the self checkout machines. Shopping here is altogether a better experience than the one on Grand.
