Phenomenal place to grind on your game. Family owned business that makes frequent customers always feel welcomed. Tremendous value for what you get. I really appreciate Hodges and their family.

The Hodges is terrible and has been for several months! What they consider the grass area for hitting is always uneven, lumpy and mostly weeds and dirt. The two sides both need to be bulldozed, leveled and sodded. It doesnt appear ownership has the capital or the interest (?) in fixing this place. For serious golfers wanting to hit off grass, Hodges is NOT the place to go.

Jeanette Gilliand is a fantastic instructor. My kids had her years ago for golf camp from the ages of 4 to about 7 for multiple years . My oldest is now 15 and taking lessons from her. Still the best coach around.

Great driving range! $16 jumbo bucket of balls.

Would give a full 5 but only experienced the driving range portion. Was really satisfied with overall experience, Prices were great, Friendly & helpful staff, not too crowded when i arrived around 7:40 pm. Love the fact taht they are open until 9:00 pm. Again overall great experience, great prices & stress relieving.

Decent enough practice facility. Pros on staff. Very small selection of used clubs. They have separate putting and chipping practice areas, but they are not free. The chipping area is actually really neat - more realistic than others.Driving range is huge, so never a problem finding a spot. They have a couple of shaded picnic tables, which you will appreciate about halfway through a 100 balls in a sunny day. Staff is very friendly.Right across the street from the Escondido Mall (my MO is drop off the wife there, hit the range, pick her up).

Its an alright facility, however, it’s always crowded and the Asian lady behind the counter is a little rude.

Short game practice area not worth the $5 fee...any range charging for short game practice is wrong in principle on its own. Tried chip/putting on the dead grass fringe on the putting green and ownership quickly chased me off the putting green. Lost my full swing bucket buying business forever.

A good place to hit balls. The chipping practice area was nice once upon a time. Its barely maintained now.

Hodges is the best range around. Tjey have mats and grass. Also they have a chipping area that really helps fine tune your game.

Lots of hitting bays, both grass and artificial. People are nice. Ive also had my clubs regripped here at very reasonable cost.

Not a bad practice range. Prices are competitive.Putting greens are a bit tiny, but well kept.They used to have a club special where you could pre-purchase buckets of balls. They would put the money on a card and just deduct the amount each time you visit.It was quite convenient. (Not entirely sure if they still have that program).Very easy to find as its right off the I-15 and across the street from the Westfield shopping mall.

Needs more mid range targets fo the huge area it has

Generally pretty busy. Some of the mats have been replaced which is a plus. The yardage signs could use replacing.

Good value, staff is professional and courteous. Balls are in decent shape.

This is a great place in the Escondido area, it has a fantastic short game area for 5 bucks. They got 4 soft sand bunkers, trees, shady areas and nice greens to practice on. At one time the driving range had grass and the yardage markers were visible, it would be nice to have these items updated.

Hodges has THE BEST short game area that is publically available. The driving offers both mats and grass. High skies and sun can be an issue with the south facing range

Nice driving range featuring grass and mat practice areas. Think theres a putting and sand trap practice area but I have never made use. The distance range markers seem to be fairly accurate. I like Hodges and use the facility when Im in San Diego visitng from Arizona.

Great place, gentlemen at the counter threw some extra balls in for us. Ground is a little uneven from all the divots, but I appreciate being able to work on medium range from real grass.

Extended their hours for grass range. Lots of pads too. Makes it easy to get practice time in late in the evening after a long work day.

Rates on website are wrong...actual rate are much higher. Beware!!

My go to practice facility for several years. Well maintained separate mat, grass, putting, and short game sections. The staff is always friendly and engaging. Convenient access directly across from the Escondido Westfield Mall. Ample parking and floodlights for evening practice are big plusses too. The prepaid range cards offer nice effective discounts on range balls for the serious hacker committed to practice time..

Ok I know most people have there own clubs, but Im just starting out so Im still renting and practicing. So I went here to warm up before I go play and this place didnt have any drivers. Wth? Get some drivers guys! That just sucks

I work at fujikura so I hit the range alot and Hodges is very friendly with good driving mats, putting, and dirt /sand area for using your irons.

Very hard to see your ball at certain hours of the day. Chipping grass is terrible. Should add more barrels, flags, and obstacles to hit at.
