I want to compliment the service I received from Lacy at the Essex Maryland location yesterday. I had a dead battery in my car and she helped me purchase and also installed my battery. Her knowledge, passion and professionalism was impressive. As a woman, she made the transaction and interaction comfortable and I couldnt be more happy with the excellent service she provided. I will return to visit that location to see her specifically for any of my auto purchase needs.

Some of the best customer service ever.

Had to research a universal part for relevant applications. My 07 Subaru was down for 2 weeks between my initial call to ask if this part was in stock, and finding out through internet research that a part that was in stock and listed as universal fits a dozen other vehicles (including mine) than the Honda that they had listed in their database. Funny how the main corporate website realized that this part fit my car, but the store database was clueless.

Laziest people I’ve seen. On the phone, talking amongst themselves and NOT helping customers.

I’m so thankful to the 2 managers at this location Jerry S and Lacy P. They were so helpful and really got me back on the road after my horrible experience at the Dundalk location.I wish I could give them 10 stars. They took great care of me and even apologized for the poor service I received at the Dundalk location. Thank you both so much!!!!

They accepted dead battery when I purchased a new battery. Staff was very friendly and courteous.

Went here with my dad today looking for brake pads. Needless to say, the manager working ( older woman with blonde hair ) was completely rude to my dad when all he was trying to do was look himself up in the system to buy parts. The only reason I give this place a 2 star review is because the other employees working there were very nice and just trying to do their jobs. The other employees did not seem very comfortable when this woman decided to stick her nose into what my dad and an employee were discussing. Do better. Be nice to people who are just trying to give YOU business.

I went in to the AutoZone on 6-18-20 to pick up a part that my son had ordered online. A female employee in the store accosted me when I walked in and told me that I would have to wear a mask. I told her that I have a medical disability that affects my breathing, and that I cannot wear a mask. She told me that she didn’t care and that she wasn’t going to wait on me. I approached another employee and she said that no one was going to wait on me because I was not wearing a mask. She would not hear that it’s been stated by the Maryland Department of Health: “Cloth face coverings should NOT be placed on anyone who has trouble breathing. People with disabilities who are unable to wear a mask are provided reasonable accommodations per the Americans with Disabilities Act.” Never have I been treated so poorly by an employee of Auto Zone. I will NEVER go there again. I couldn’t post zero stars, so they got at least one.

The few times that I have shipped there. The employees have been friendly and helpful. I shop the Essex, Maryland. One in particular Id like to make a shoutout too is Jerry S. who went above and beyond by replacing the battery in my Chrysler Town and Country. Thank you again Jerry. Very much appreciated your knowledge and help!

Ive always loved the AutoZone brand! Being a former Mechanic, sometimes I need to do an oil change or fix certain things on my car & this place always has whatever I need in stock! Brake pads, brake rotors, brake lines, spark plugs, air filter, etc! The prices are always decent, especially compared to the dealerships!

Great place to buy car parts and auto supplies. I shop there quite a bit!! Right on Eastern Blvd! You have to make a u-turn in order to access the business!!! But, other than that great customer service and help purchasing!!!

Was very impressed today with excellent customer service and speed of finding out the problem with my car. They checked my Engine Light and pulled up what was wrong. Very friendly staff. Only 4 stars due to items moderately high priced. Other than that, definitely recommend this business.

Be careful what you buy when you shop here. Dependent on the person behind the counter, if you dont have a receipt, sometimes they will go back and find your last purchases and refund money back to your card, other employees will be lazy because they want to go and smoke every 5 mins and will just put it on a gift card and say sorry. Oh well. (This was a manager working on 8/31 2018 at 1130...so when the district manager sees this) Also, when you do have a receipt, they will then make the excuse of its too old although everything is still in original packaging. Advanced always returns wrong or unused items...its 1 min up the road.

I called about and alternatorand the gentleman at the front desk told me that my truck didnt have any in it and does it signal doesnt have that we can have that engineering cuz of the Dodge you knew nothing that he was talking about waited on hold for 45 minutes Ive been in advance customer for 10 years I thought Id sendI was going to switch to AutoZone but after that misinformation Im going back to advance because I called him they put the engine in and told me what what what it was as far as the alternator I would never go back Im a true blue advanced customer now
