The original Poly finish was bubbling off of this 2005 MIM Telecaster. I stripped it and sent it to Bill to refinish in Nitro. WOW, what a difference, it looks so much better than it did. His workmanship is spot on!

My husband, who is a professional guitarist thought I should throw my.mothers guitar out. Bill fixed it and sounds beautiful. I used to carry my mothers guitar for her when she taught at Andrews School For Girls. It is so wonderful to sing and play songs she wrote.It was unplayable before he fixed it.

Ive been playing bass for over 20 years now and guitar before that. Bill at Jancar Guitar is the best guitar tech I know in the Cleveland area. Ive known him for many years now and he is not only a great tech but a great human being. He has done everything from mods to my basses, fret jobs, refinish work, rewinding pickups(as opposed to buying new ones), creative mods like a push/pull dual tone cap mod on my G&L SB-2s(that allow you to switch which cap the tone knob uses...an amazing mod...his idea!), to just about anything related to guitar or bass that I can think of. Hes also very honest...i.e. he has ended up charging less then estimated for a job in which he didnt have to do everything he thought he had too. Honest people and people that have a fair price as well as a good work ethic are hard to come by nowadays especially in the guitar repair world! Bill is top notch in every way and I highly recommend him!

Bill is a true professional with an impressive resume which includes experience working for Gibson Custom Shop, Gretsch Guitars, Mojotone as well as other reputable companies in the musical instrument industry. He recently replaced a bone nut on my vintage Stratocaster and addressed a few minor but annoying issues. His work is top notch, his cost and turnaround time is extremely reasonable. I believe, with the support of the local music community, that he could become an extremely valuable asset to the players in an region currently reliant on technicians who are either on the edge of retirement or those who could benefit from a few more years of experience.
