Fast, friendly and professional service. I ordered parts with an overnight delivery, the UPS Shipping truck wasn’t going to make it in time, so a Moto Gear Staff member went and picked the parts up and personally delivered it to my house that night! They care about their customers, Moto Gear Speed Shop is always our first stop for all our Moto needs.

Im sorry, I just cannot give this shop a good review.I drove up from Southern Oregon because we do not have anyone with a dyno down here (that I know of). I brought 2 bikes - raptor 700 and yfz450r. The raptor turned out fine. The YFZ wouldnt start because apparently my boys had put the tipover sensor back on wrong. When they fixed that, they put on an MSD Blaster...literally a 10 minute install because my bike doesnt have the cover over the ecu. Cable is right there, there is space between the frame/plastics to route the wires without removing it. It is one plug/connector.I dropped it off on a Thursday and was told they would get it done the next day on Friday so I made plans to get them the following Monday. No dice. The following Thursday, I had to finally call and tell them Im coming up to get it - done or not. So they put it on the dyno while I drove up to get it. On my way, I got a call and he said there is something majorly wrong in the front sprocket area that is making a lot of noise so he is terminating the dyno run because he doesnt feel good about it. We just put a new chain and rear sprocket on it so I thought it could be the wrong size chain.When I got there, I got a bill for over $800. Im fine with the Raptor charges because I knew what was coming. For the YFZ they charged me 2 hours labor to install the MSD and flip the tipover sensor - literally 15 minutes of work. When I questioned the tech about the amount of labor, he told me it took time to put the quad on the dyno machine.Then, when I got home, I noticed a rhythmic noise coming from the front sprocket area while I pushed the yfz into the garage. It literally took me 30 seconds max to see that the master link had been put on prongs out (new chain my son installed) so it was hitting the subframe. Another 30 second fix and it could have been actually dynod (something that I had already apparently paid for part of according to the tech.) The whole reason I drove up there was to get the YFZ dynod. I decided to do the raptor too since I was going there. There is no way a mechanic who pushed this quad from the shop outside should not have immediately figured out the chain master link was hitting the subframe.VERY disappointed. The problem is it costs me $100 in gas to pull a trailer up to Eugene and back so Im literally stuck with what I got and what I paid for unless I want to throw down another 100 bucks in gas to drive it back. So 2 trips to Eugene and 2 hours of labor = $400 for something I could have done in 15 minutes and just plugged in a preset tune - which is what I got since no dyno.

I would like to thank this shop, Ron and the boys in helping me get a new front tire spooned on. I had traveled 4000 miles so far on a motorcycle trip and had used up my front tire. Called Ramsey-Waite Co., they had the tire but would not work on any motorcycle older than 1997, real support for a traveler, NOT. I called Cycle -Gear and they had the tire and she told me to call Ron at Moto Gear, he said they could help me so off I went, purchased the tire at Cycle Gear, strapped it on the bike and found MOTO GEAR. They immediately took the bike in and started removing the front wheel, all good. I then asked about an oil change, no problem, they had the oil, PERFECT. These guys really helped me stay on schedule and feel good with a new tire and oil. As for the bike I was riding, a perfect example of a 1992 Yamaha FJ1200 ABS model, a bike that helped define Sports Touring, and thats what I was doing on it.

I recently made performance upgrades to my VTX 1800. Moto Gear ordered the part, installed and dyno tuned my bike. They also found a few issues that needed fixing. They did a great job and took the time to make sure it was done right. My bike runs amazing now. They helped unlock the speed performance of my 1800. Thanks guys!!!! 🏍💨

I love this shop! They are friendly, fast and extremely knowledgeable. I had them do a tire swap on my Harley. They took extra care with her and gave me the best price in town. When I forgot the key they sent someone to deliver it to me. I highly recommend Moto Gear of Eugene.

This is seriously the best shop I’ve ever been to. I race motocross and I’m constantly needing parts and help and work. All of the staff at Moto gear are genuine in trying to help me. The mechanics there are truly awesome and know exactly what to look for. I’ve been to so many small bike shops and none of them ever have what I need but moto gear ALWAYS has so much stuff in stock that I rarely need anything ordered. 10/10 only shop I’ll ever use again

Went in to check my tire pressure. They did a full safety inspection for $5. Looks like a good place to do other maintenance

Great shop! Always super helpful and are more than willing to go out of their way to accommodate. These guys clearly share a passion for the sport and will do what ever it takes to keep you riding. Great selection of riding gear, oil and chemicals, only shop in town that stocks my favorite Dumonde Tech chain lube. I will always go out of my way to give them my business.

I walked in and it looks good nice displays and clean. I asked if they had time to do a tire this morning and the cute young lady behind the desk said yes. 20 minutes later I was putting my rim with a nice new tire on it back in my car trunk quick simple in and out. Awesome local shop with great people here. Good prices on everything and they even give military discounts. Also they are the only place in Eugene that can order goldentyre tires so thats a big plus for me. Plus they have quite a bit in stock for pretty much any bike or atv

I took my Girlfriend’s TRX450R in to get the suspension set up as a Christmas gift, while it was in there the staff helped me surprise her with a new Yoshimura exhaust and custom dyno tune! They went about and beyond to keep the exhaust a secret for me and get the suspension dialed in for her weight and riding style! Thank you guys so much for your help on it! The bike run better then ever! Very affordable too!

They tried to rip me off. They said my bearings were shot and wanted to charge me $2600 dollars to fix it but in reality my carburetor was bad. I dont recommend going here for mechanical work.
