In business since the beginning of tabletop hobbies in the area. They have a great selection of products, especially MTG, and are able to work with high end orders. The owner has cultivated a well established competitive scene for card tournaments. They also have a pretty cool logo ;)

Consistent errors in online inventory. I’ve ordered from them probably a half dozen times, and nearly every time there’s an issue.Clayton is rude, won’t admit mistakes, and shouldn’t be managing a Lemonade stand.I’m done dealing with them. I would recommend “wild things games” in Salem. Those guys are pros and know how to run a shop.

To have my magic cards appraised, I was asked to leave them for several days up to two weeks. 5 days return the call, I was offered .55 for a full deck of cards that are very uncommon, complete, high level characters, and fully flushed out theme. I was very surprised that they were not even interested in the illegal tournament rarities. Weird.

They always ship cards quickly and well packaged. In the one incident I had with USPS, the staff were very easy to work with in resolving the issue. I would definitely recommend this as a place to order cards from!

Not a very welcome place unless you frequent there store. Card prices are marked up higher than any other competition local. If you sell them cards they buy them for light play prices then re sell for near mint. So understand that you are not buying near mint and you are buying a lesser grade. Some of the workers act like they have better stuff to do that be there and tend to ignore you again unless known and frequent the store. Going to go to a shop way out of my way but I feel its worth it for nicer people and better rates and prices.

I ordered a few singles from here and the delivery was insanely fast!! My cards arrived in great packaging and condition and I could not be happier! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a well run Abe’s and family owned game store!!

I gotta say, I used to love this place but I’m gonna have to abandon it. I came in with friends every week for months and they didn’t even talk to me except to boast about their product, I thought I could be a regular and maybe participate in events there but I guess you have to be a male regular to get that treatment. Their prices are insane for no reason. 2x the price online. I wouldn’t go here unless you desperately need something for 2x the online price and 3x msrp

Took in 10 of my YuGiOh cards. They are never played near mint were in sleeves. Of the 10 I had 2 first edition, 3 ultra rare, 3 rare, 2 ghost rares. Idk if its because i dont look like i play or know what I have but got offered $4.00 for them. The lowest price for common ones is about $20. Yes I understand they need to make money, but again all rare in one way shape or form and NM. The cards valued at $186. $4.00 was a complete insult and in my opinion attempted thievery. Anyways thanks guys, keep being solid.

I can’t believe how incredibly rude the staff is here. Upon entering I could tell that they were having an inappropriate conversation and ignored what they were saying. I inadvertently made eye contact which prompted a rude response from who I’m assuming was the manager: “what are you looking at”.While there I was never asked if they could help and I was never acknowledged again. The taller employee working noon shift on 6/23 was beyond rude. Why would you want to be insulted when you can simply go online to purchase everything they have. Fire this guy if you want your business to keep its doors open.

Solid selection of DnD, Pokemon, and Magic products plus a few other games available for sale. Has an additional room with large windows for game play with some candy and drinks for sale. Staff friendly and had some special deals going.

Extremely rude staff when calling in. Made me feel stupid for asking questions even when I was being polite I do not recommend them. Not community minded. persons on the phone was short with me rude and you could tell they wanted to be done talking to me.

I started my M:tG competitiveness here at AB. I have known the staff, regulars, and community for over 8 years. In that time I have never met a more knowledgeable staff when it comes to cards (You could describe anything and they will name it for you). I have seen some reviews about the card prices being higher at this store but people dont mention that you can get great discounts on those prices by participating in events and FNMs. In addition, absolutley nobody has a better available selection in Lane County. As a business owner, I expect AB to be around for decades to come, they are THE card game Mecca for our area.

Again Shady owner beware! I am responding to the owners response below.First, I did not arrive before opening as my Google location time stamp photo will show I was there at open 1200 and was forced to stay till 1323.Second, I was offered the damaged window displays which I still purchased owner would not know this as he was not present and had ZERO communication with me.Third, I was not offered what I wanted only 4 of two of the sets and 2 of the one set which was all that was in stock of that set which was fine. As stated bellow I was buying almost the entire stock of this product line but was restricted to a verbally stated quantity limit even though the website did not state limits and I had purchased way over 4 of an item in the past.Lastly, you were not called untill an employee said they had to clear the quantity with you which up until that point was totally fine with zero issues. Besides that if you were called because I was so terrifying to your employees why did you not swoop in to jump between the out of control customer and your employees. Again I had ZERO interaction on the phone or face to face with the owner.Also I recieved a private email from an employee later personally apologizing for our interaction. Again employees are GREAT this was 100% on the owner. I repeatedly told the employees I was not mad at them and knew it was entirely the owners doing.Shop where you want but personally I would choose to do business with a more honest and decent individual. Shop Mox Valley in Springfield or Edge of the World in Eugene.Shady owner(s) I Have spent hundreds if not thousands here over the last few years. Shady owner employees are great mind you. The staff is literally the best. I can bring a list of 60 specific cards I want in a magic deck and because of their gigantic selection of pretty much every card and their amazing staff, they will sit there and go through every set and flip through binder after binder to meticulously find every card I want. The have the most patient staff every and they go above and beyond for all their customers. They also host a lot of events. If you need a card, not even necessarily magic cards, go here first. They also give great advice about decks and are VERY knowledgeable about magic and what would be a good addition to a deck of not. If you have a card in your deck, they probably know a better card from a different set that youve never heard of that does the same thing better and more. Just a great place overall

Walked in and found some cool dice. No problems or hassle over my service animal, and they even have a few hard to find materials. Staff is very easy to speak to as well.

Great store for all ages with plenty of hobbies, from role play books for games like dungeons and dragons, to cards for Magic The Gathering or Pokemon. They are very family friendly and hold both competitive and non-competitive tournament making it a great shop for beginners.All the employees are happy to help and very knowledgeable.

Five stars if you belong to the community, however, people tend to keep to themselves and exclude newer players. The staff is very helpful, on the other hand, but i dont see myself going for just the staff and getting left out at events. They do have good stock of everything they sell relative to other shops

Addictive Behaviors is good for those who love to play in Magic tournaments and have all the accessories in the same place. As a game store they have a decent selection but other small stores have different games or even more games. Cant beat their card selection though!

Rude customer service, they do not respect new players and are very rude to their customers. The tall man obviously doesn’t like his job and needs to quit.Edit: Gave them another shot 4 months later, same exact thing happened. The customer service of the tall guy with the black hair and glasses is the worse I have ever received in Eugene. If I could give them less stars I would.

This is the card shop that I have used the most since I moved to Eugene in 2013. I love this place- I have made a ton of new friends and have played many memorable games of both Force of Will TCG and Magic the Gathering. The staff are great people and well known to the regulars. Seems like a nice place online orders take days to be filled. Maybe they need more employees to dedicate them between events and buy/sell process. In my personal opinion, if you need to buy or sell,t is the best route for hassle free buying/selling.

Best place in Eugene for tabletop games. Weekly tournaments and meets for popular games such as MTG. Large selection of cards and games available for purchase. The crowd can sometimes be overwhelming, and I would like to see some ground rules established so that everyone can have fun.

Good hell this place is great! They have a wide variety of games and gaming accessories, as well as spots to play with groups large and small. While it is generally fairly quiet during the days (especially during the week) events on nights and weekends are packed with all ages playing their hearts out. If you are looking for a spot to get your game on, or maybe just a hard to find single, this is worth driving into Eugene for.

The very best MtG shop in Eugene! A fantastic place to go for either trading cards or finding great deals on something to fill out your decks! They have regular Competitive Gaming events here as well as a large selection of card games. Magic the Gathering is still the lifes blood of the shop. The shop staff are very helpful and friendly as well!!

You cant beat the prices here if you are building a new deck. Also, they have a lot of cool events. Wish I had more time to check them out.

Been playing Magic casually for a year or two now. Finally started getting into Legacy constructed because of the environment AB brings. Its nice knowing that the staff also plays on these nights and teach you the best way to play your deck. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Cards are a little pricey compared to some cards you can find on TCG, but what can you expect? Theyre a local business that needs to make some sort of overhead and profit. Overall the best place to buy singles and packs in Eugene as well as make some friends who also play.

One of the better game stores. If you get there when they have good staff. One guy that works there is very abrasive.

They give you about 60% lower then what your cards are worth. The tall guy with glasses needs some customer service experience. Never smiles or greets anyone and seems to always be in a mean upset mood. I will now never take my magic there again. I had some really high-end magic cards when I tried to tell the tall dude about them. He talked over me and he is very disrespectful. He does not need to work there any longer.

I watched these dudes pull down cards like master librarians out of binders just from a list my friend brought in that didnt even have the set names, it was a magical experience

In the past, Addictive Behaviors (A.B.) was considered the less family friendly, more competitive scenes available to players. While the latter still holds true, A.B. has implemented sufficient rules to tame and enrich the atmosphere.

I like this place because there are so many people playing here its fun to drop in buy somthing and play cards with friends. A bonus being if you need a card they just might have it.

My roommate and I went here a couple weeks ago. Im going again today. The people there are really helpful and answered a ton of questions that we both had, even apologized when a customer just came up and interrupted. They gave us a ton of information and invited us to check out the tournaments to get an idea of how it runs. Very excited to go back!

I come in whenever I can. The staff are great, and suprisingly, they actually call you back when you leave an inquiry about an item. Sometimes there is a bit of a line when people are searching for an exact card, but thats the only thing I dislike about this place.

AMAZING people always trying to do there best, even if you messed up alot.. they will do there best to fix a mistake and keep you updated! people here are so friendly and open that its hard to now stay for hours. its a 100% must go to if you love pokemon, magic, DnD, anything card game or fantastic table top gaming! i would give this a 6 star if there was an option too

Also carries some stock for Pokémon, as well as card sleeves and deck boxes for your deck. Also, even though they dont host D&D ( Dungeons and Dragons) events, they do sell D&D Books!Good place!

Ive been here several times and had no problems at all. Of course they pay rather upsetting costs if youre seeking to sell cards, but the employees were nice and even let me carry a backpack inside.

I have been coming to Addictive Behaviors for over 10 years now, and even though I live in Albany, I still find my-self coming to this store just to play magic. Just like any card shop, they have some deals, some over priced cards and pay poorly for magic cards. This is nothing new to anyone whos been around to a lot of different card shops, its how they stay in business.However, at Addictive Behaviors they have a slight customer service problem. They do wear suits and ties which is professional but their behavior is very lack luster almost to the point of apathy even disdain. Sometimes theyll be downright rude, other times acceptable depending on who you get and how busy theyve been.In short, if youre looking for magic or Yu-Gi-Oh cards, their respective accessories as well as dice and board games, they have them and decently priced for being in downtown Eugene but dont expect good customer service.
