This seems like a great place to get used and some new clothing. The also have some camping equipment so it is a good place to check out of you are looking to get something for outdoor activities. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Eugene Gear Traders is also in a very convenient location and they have ample bicycle parking. It is a good place to check in on occasionally as their selection probably changes.

EGT has a fantastic selection of outdoor gear and clothing. For stuff that you can’t be bothered selling on eBay or Craigslist, this is a convenient avenue to sell your excess outdoor equipment. Bring your gear in, have it inspected for stains and dings, and off it goes on the store floor. When your items sell, you can either redeem your earnings in store credit or check.Added bonus is that the owner, Bevin, is awesome and has a memory of an elephant. I’m not sure how they remembered my name out of the countless customers that walk through their doors, but they managed to do so. This is a wonderful addition to Eugene’s collection of small businesses!

EGT is by far my favorite store in town, next to the climbing store! The owner and the crew at Eugene Gear Traders are so awesome and knowledgeable, and no matter what they can get you what you need for a chill weekend, or a mountain trip! Ive found everything from camp chairs to ice axes in there! I highly recommend stopping by before you go to the big stores, youll likely find what you need used at a better price!

What an amazing resource in the valley. Run by an awesome business owner and her family and they are ethical, fair and have incredible knowledge of outdoor sports and adventure.The store has improved greatly as time goes on as well with added items and even lots of new gear, some produced by local makers.I have benefited from this business as has people in my network I’ve referred who have consigned gear.Support local is more important than ever with corporations ie Amazon etc trying to take over the world.I am now a loyal and stoked Eugene Gear Traders customer and recommend them 100%.
