All of the staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and assist each other when needed. I have been using this office since I was 14, and been to others as well, but this one has ALWAYS been a great business. Veronica (staff member) is super friendly and extremely helpful. Her and Hollis (whom I have seen work at this same business for 30 years) are a great team! Thank you both (and all of your team) for being super friendly, always willing to work to get customers a great deal, and help my unique situation when nobody else could. You all rock! Definitely recommend!

I found the staff at the Eugene Lens Crafters to be extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Additionally, I was amazed at how quickly they were able to deliver my new glasses/sunglasses. Two paid of bifocals delivered in 3 days! In my prior experience with another optical shop, I had to wait almost 2 weeks. I highly recommend this shop.

The glasses I originally ordered were way to heavy, made my eyes swell, water, and gave me headaches. We tried progressive lenses and I think they just didnt work. Because of the cost I expected a hassle to replace them but your agent was amazing, and your customer service simply over the top. I came in with BUSTED frames (screws broken in glasses) and a messy prescription (high astigmatism and bad eyes). Basically, if my glasses are unusable then I cant see more than a few feet out. I was so lucky when the wonderful gals Sadie and Veronica helped me get fit with a new, perfect pair in 30 freakin minutes!! So super kind and went out of their way to make sure I got what I needed. Ive always relied on this Lenscrafters to help me get my eye needs met and this just sealed the deal. Im definitely a for-life customer!!

Really nice staff. Ok frame selection. Prices for lenses are outrageous. They wanted double the price than other places I’ve been to - $400 for single vision. They told me their lenses were better - but I looked it up and it’s just a sales pitch. They’re no better or worse than their competitors.I went to Visionworks after. Much better selection of frames and I paid about $100-150 for lenses.

Would have given a zero stars if it were possible. They do NOT stand behind their products. Paid for the anti glare, anti scratch, and the blue light coatings which started coming off within 90 days. They do not back their product, said nothing they could do because I didn’t have the protection plan. I spent $900 for a pair of daily glasses and sun glasses, the daily glasses are unwearable. Total rip off to not stand behind their products. I will never return to LensCrafters!

Sadie, and the staff at the Eugene, OR, store are amazing! I was traveling from California to Oregon and realized I’d only brought my prescription sunglasses. I called the Eugene store and spoke with Sadie. She immediately pulled up my prescription. I drive there directly after landing. Sadie helped me pick out frames and got the technicians working on the lenses. I was out the door within a half-hour.LensCrafters went above and beyond!

UPDATED 6/29/21 Lenscrafters, Eugene, OR. I am updating my review and want to thank 1st Assitant Manager Olivia Van Riper who helped my with the last pair received 6/23/21. I still needed to have them adjusted and had to return to the Eugene store and Oliva, kindly adjusted them and assured me that if down the road I have any issues they would be happy to help. Also thank you to Manager Veronica Lampe who provided excellent service and helped me with the first pair following my negative expierence at the Salem, OR store where I was talked to rudely and told they could not provide the frames I was able to purchase in Eugene store.I still believe Luxottica owes me a significant finacial adjustment for the 5 90 mile trips to Eugene to get what I paid for in Salem (closer to me) or Online and for having to wait and have my funds in transit during this 3 months of poor service and having to wait nearly three months to get the NEW glasses I paid for.ORIGINAL REVIEW: It started is the Salem OR store. Then it was online, the glasses came with incorrect lenes not a fault of any store. The policy for online on a return is a major fail in customer service. So, to fix the incorrect lenses I was required to return the glasses to online. (separate business enitity owned by the same company Luxottica) wait for a refund then I could go to a store and re-purchase them. However, my lenses have to mailed out, and the frames I wanted from jump street were not in stock at any stores. So, 3+ weeks later, then back to Eugene store 45 miles each way to re-purchase them. I was not real happy. Been 2 months of buying and returning and waiting on multiple pairs. (not this store in the beginning, that was Salem, then online, now Eugene) As a business owner, this would be unacceptable in my industry. Got the last pair Wednesday, June 23rd. Oakley Holbrooks with Oakley Gen8 Trns Brn RX Lenses. They targeted the pupil incorrectly on this latest pair.I feel awful having to return them again! But with no insurance and out of pocket cash they need to be right...Right?So disappointed and I hope they dont give me a hard time I suck at this. Just venting, planning on driving the 48 miles each way to see what happens Tuesday.I have found Oakley is owned by Luxottica Group. Who owns Lens Crafters? Luxottica Group....HMMMMI will update my review IF THEY DO SOMETHINGI think they should just call me up and offer to have me come down and fix them and provide a fast turnaround, since my lenses cannot be made on-site then overnight shipping when they are delivered to the store so I do not have to return. refund the cost in full except for the 2-year warranty I purchased. At this point, this seems fair to me.

They would not adjust my frames at all because they were scared of the lenses popping out, now I have useless prescription sunglass that feel better off my face. If you want to get any assistance, just do it yourself, these people were useless.

Lenscrafters refused to release a copy of my prescription that I had already paid for. I was told they would not provide my prescription because the prescription was almost two years old. I told them I no longer had vision insurance and could not afford to pay for an eye exam that would result in the same prescription as my astigmatism has not changed for decades. I assumed this was a state or federal rule and left. Upon research there is no rule or guideline for eye prescription expiration. I went back to the location and asked why they would not release my prescription since there is no legal issue. The manager stated it is a company policy. This is a Federal Trade Commission violation.This is nothing more than a hussle to get consumers to spend more money in the store via needless eye exams and marked up eye glasses. Waste of my time. I will take my business to a more ethical company.

Horrible customer service. Lady working there with a tree tattoo on her arm openly complaining about customers right in front of me to her manager. She wouldn’t help me find a pair of glasses that matched an old pair I had; instead she told me I’d have to dig around myself while she just went and sat down doing nothing. They tried to get me to run a scam on my insurance and pay their store prices instead of using my insurance. They also let multiple people sit in multiple seats without sanitizing them. It seemed as if no one wanted to be there and they thought they were doing me a favor by being open. In addition to all of this, their prices are outrageous. No thanks, go somewhere else and save yourself a big headache and waste of time.

I came in for my appointment that I had previously scheduled. When I arrived to my appointment the “receptionist Jennifer” was the most rude and unprofessional personal I have ever met in my life. She made this experience horrible. I am sorry she has a miserable life but as a customer I never was expected to received this type of customer service on her behalf. The OD Christopher Leder is very professional I am so sorry he has such representative with such bad behavior in this location. I hope someone can pay attention to this employee so someone else does not experience what I went thru.

This place is a joke, the prices are obscene. My wife returned with a pair of glasses bought from them for $1000. She thought she could get a reasonable price for new lenses. She made an appointment for an eye exam that costs a ridiculous $120. Upon arrival, she inquired about clear lens price, they quoted $400, in addition to exam cost. I realize every business needs to make a profit, but this cost is absurd, a horrible value for even the most wealthiest consumer. Visionworks, another vendor in the mall charged only $89 for an eye exam. You can buy two pair of frames with lenses, including transition lenses from Costco, including eye exam for less than these jokers charge for a single set of clear lenses. Buyer beware.

Had a difficult time obtaining new glasses, but not entirely LensCrafters fault. When I originally went in to order the glasses, the customer service rep and I both thought something was not right about the Rx. He (A _____, dark curly hair) called the doctors office, but they insisted the Rx was correct. So we went ahead with the order. I wore them for several days and had several problems with them. So I went back to the doctor, they lowered the Rx in the eye that was bothering me. I took the Rx back to LensCrafters. I forgot that my copy of the Rx was at home, so we (Olivia) called and asked that the Rx be faxed. Apparently, the doctors office transposed the fax # and it took 45 minutes to get a copy. We ordered the new lens and it arrived in less than a week. The person (Lainey ??)who helped me couldnt seem to adjust the frames to fit me after sending them back three times. I tried them and had to go back within three days to try again. Had a different sales rep (I didnt catch her name, but she did a much better job.) They do fit now, the lenses work and I am satisfied.

The store has a very limited inventory. The store is also behind in eyeglasses fitting. The sales person who helped me needs more training on insurance help, progressive glasses and sales. Not happy with the visit as it should be because glasses are a necessity for me.

After breaking my glasses (which can be a nightmare without insurance) and then finding out that they can’t be fixed (even worse!!), I went into LensCrafters and was helped by Veronica, she was super friendly and helpful. As I was looking at new frames, she was in the back fixing my old frames so they could be worn while I wait for my new pair. I called and they said, if they had the lenses they would try their best make them for me.I went in, and found designer frames on sale, they verified the lenses were in stock. Great overall experience here. I am new to glasses and had a hard time getting what I wanted the first few years. This time I wanted to work out all the kinks. I ended up with a great pair of glasses that fit right and look good at a decent price. I returned for a lens exchange and adjustment within 30 days and the staff was helpful and quick about getting it right.

My wife and I live on the coast and went to this Lense Crafters because its close to our daughters home. We live in Lincoln City about 2.5 hours away.We chose Lense Crafters because we had been to another LC shop in Salem and were happy with that outcome.Im not going to mention names here. We had new exams by a woman.. My wife was getting prescription sunglasses. I was getting a new pair of regular glasses. We spoke with a couple staff about the new frames. There was a bit of back and forth regarding the frames. We left expecting to pick up new glasses in about 10 days or so. We get the text notice to pick up our glasses. Our daughter picks them up for us. We meet her a few days later. Guess what my wifes glasses are not sunglasses just regular glasses. My glasses were the wrong prescription, not usable. Long story short the staff offer to get my wifes lenses changed out (after another 5hr round trip) and offer a credit for the inconvenience (never got a credit!,). Our daughter picked up that pair and we got them from her later. I had to drive 5 hrs round trip to go back for a new exam. This time by an older man... guy seemed he could not have been less interested in my exam. This time they would ship them. Week later I get a notice I have to come to their store to pick up the glasses. Another 5 hr round trip. After a desperate search for the glasses Guess what, NO... that was just an auto generated notice the glasses are being shipped after all!!! The young woman at the counter tells the guy in back oh its ok Were good they are being shipped No young lady you are most certainly NOT GOOD.. Still waiting for the delivery to see if this pair works. So after about $1500 out of pocket plus 3 unnecessary 5 hour drives I will NEVER return to this bunch of bozos and I would not recommend them.

I got some sawdust in my eye and couldn’t flush it out. I went to Urgent Care and they said there was nothing in my eye. The next day, completely miserable, I found the only optometrist open on a Saturday. They squeezed me into their schedule without an appointment and found the big chunk of sawdust within about about twenty seconds. LensCrafters usually isn’t the first name that comes to mind with this kind of emergency, but I’m grateful for their help.

I was a little hesitant going to this Lenscrafters after seeing the other reviews but I have had such great experiences at Lenscrafter in different cities so I decided to go ahead with my eye exam and getting new frames. My eye exam was THE BEST I have had. The doctor was so nice and so informative I was able to ask him a number of questions and he was incredibly patient and kind. The entire staff was friendly and made shopping for frames an easy experience. I loved this location and will absolutely go back!

I called and hassled Elizabeth at this location about getting my prescription from the eye doctor, finding my glasses, that I had already saved, and making sure that my glasses were ready relatively soon after work.Then we figured out that I had called the wrong I place within Valley River Center. Elizabeth as a superstar customer service human and ran my prescription down to the other Place! Maybe next time I’ll visit LensCrafters for my vision wear needs!

Totally made the wrong prescription (which I had to redo a few months later in a medical test of a new job).The lenses were not put in the frames correct so within two months of buying the glasses the lenses cracked. Wouldnt help me when I said it was an issue on their part. Got lectured for using the wrong cleaners ( which I didnt) and tried to make up dumb excuses to why using the wrong cleaner would create the cracks. Now a few months later after getting my lenses swapped out and done by a professional ( but keeping the old frames) the damn frames completely broke. Cheaply made. Just go to a professional. Only redeeming quality was the sales person being nice originally.

Every time Im there I have gotten great service. The young lady that checked me in was awesome. Absolutely love Dr. Wellwood he was pleasant and explained everything to me. Then my experience in the lobby was AMAZING! The young lady ( I didnt ask her name) with blonde hair was absolutely a godsend. I had 4 year old metal frames that had lost the nose pieces. I had a great experiance, got my eyes checked and brought in my own versace glasses and got them fitted with new lenses and all that good stuff then the next day i get them back they had put in the cheap plastic lenses and not the poly ones we has literally just talked about the day before. I was very upset because I had payed for the poly whatever kind and now one of my lenses is hella thicker than the other. Great service other than that!! lol.

I called for a appointment and they said my insurance will cover the cost. When I arrive they say they dont know how much my insurance will pay for the frames. So I would have to come back 2 days later when they could actually contact my insurance. They could have called and informed me, but I guess that makes to much sense. The doctor refused to accommodate my request of using Goldmann Tonometry to check my eye pressure.And, he got quite ANGRY at me for asking him to check my pressures using Goldmann.He insisted on using the hand held, and he was angry enough I had to calm him down... The man has temper issues.He insisted that the hand held device was the gold standard of applanation tonometry...NOT SO!In most ophthalmologists offices, eye pressure is measured using “Goldmann applanation tonometry,” and this is considered a “gold standard” eye pressure measurement. In this test, the eyes are anesthetized with numbing drops. In addition, a small amount of non-toxic dye is placed in the eye.May 14, 2018O/W good eye exam.Had to wait for my glasses they were WAY wrong.Then had to wait 2 weeks to get them fixed, due to not wanting to see Dr Cuevas again.They made the glasses again...But now that they have screwed with the frame so much it is torqued, and the left bifocal add is tipped instead of straight...It all went so right the first time I came here two years ago... It all went so badly the second time!Dont know if I will bother to have them corrected.

Never go here... Went in to get some lenses put into my moms frames. They took a look at the frames, then lied straight to my moms face and said that they dont have the right tools to be able to do it... Another one of the employees said that there is too much metal on the frames... It is not hard to say you dont feel comfortable doing it... Lying to your possible future customers isnt a great idea...Visioncare said that they can do it without an issue.

First time there Dr cuevas would not let me be in the room with my wife which I found very odd. My wife is a Spanish speaker and the staff assured me he spoke Spanish. He would not respond to my wife's questions and got her prescription totally wrong. Came back later and had a very helpful doctor who was very professional and funny. Returned yesterday for an appointment and lo and behold, it was Dr cuevas again. I made sure to be in the room with my wife this time. First thing he does is demand that my wife put away her phone. His Spanish is horrible. He wouldnt answer my wifes questions again and when I asked him, he acted like I was an idiot for asking. After that, my wife asked him if he was in a bad mood and he said yes. At that point I asked him if there was a problem with us because he was super short and rude. My wife and I were very uncomfortable and only wanted a simple eye exam. I complained to the staff and they assured me a manager would call me. I still have heard nothing from anybody there. It was the most unpleasant experience Ive ever had from a health Care professional. I will never ever go back to lens Crafters ever again.

I have been going to Dr. Cuevas and Lenscrafters in Eugene for years. Their customer service is outstanding. Their prices on contacts are less than any other online store I could find.
