Consistently understaffed and/or staffed with undertrained employees. Prices at the register very regularly are more than the prices on the labels, and the cashiers are not empowered to fix it. Buy 2 is disrespectful to their employees here and it shows.
This place is great!I was in there on January 18th and the employee didn’t do anything wrong. He was actually really nice.It was Sheba and Sean Dwyer that we’re being aggressive to him.He really did try to helpThem but Sean seemed to be drunk and High then the crazy quack job started brandishing his weapon yelling at us to stay the F AWAY from this place.I really didn’t know he was running forCity council! Not until I watched the news.I would never VOTE FOR A QUACK LIKE THAT!Also did some research and found a whole lot about this guy trying to sue people.I wouldn’t be surprised if he tries to fabricate a story to sue these people. It seems like this guy and his Sheba have a lot of issues.
Just left this location (July 27, 2020 at appx 9:50pm). I tried to buy two cereal bars labeled as $1.49 each and a 1-ltr bottle of Dr Pepper ($1.99 + $0.10 deposit). I got to the register and saw that it was trying to charge me $1.69 per bar. I pointed it out to the cashier, who got upset because it was a void sale. I said that the bars rang up wrong, so he tried again, this time charging me $5.60 and asked if that was fair. I, of course, said no, because $1.49 x 2 + $2.09 doesnt equal $5.60 (in fact, my total shouldve been $5.07, and even IF the price of the bars were $1.69 each, that still comes to $5.47, so he tried to over charge me even more!) When I told him that it was wrong and tried to explain the math, he got mad, accused me of having an attitude, which I didnt, the said, Are you going to buy this or not? Thats when I said no, that I didnt have an attitude, that he did and left. I understand thats a stressful job; HOWEVER, you need mark/price your items accurately or its false advertising AND you need to hire people who can do basic math.UPDATE (8/13/20): They have not fixed their prices, still insist that theres nothing they can do about it, and give the usual blow offs. I went in last night to make the previous purchases, I took pics and vids of the display, and sure enough, theyre still over charging. I brought it up to the cashier, who blew me off, so I called the assistant manager a few minutes ago, who blew me off and didnt even offer a refund for the difference. So, I called the Oregon Attorney Generals Office and am filing a fraud complaint. I believe theyre doing this at more locations and will other products. This is clearly false advertising and their blazé attitude towards it shows that they know theyre knowing violating the law and not caring.
Clean store, considerate staff, and the staff I have met even asked me my pronouns.
I went to this Buy2 on the 18th of January 2020. One of the clerks named Jerahime Hardgraves kept calling me a he after I repeatedly told him that I use female pronouns. He then called me a Shemale and refused us service. I looked him up through the lane county court records and found he has numerous charges for possession of meth and at least one charge of felon in possession of a firearm. I don’t know why Buy2 would allow a person to work for the company who is so much of a liability.
I wil boycott any store that will not honor there advertised prices while there are standing right next to a 2 by 4 foot sign with the price on it. I or anyone in my famliy will not ever again set foot inside a Buy2 store or purchase gas from any Buy2 gas station. I can go right around the corner to 7/11 for better prices without being harassed by panhandlers. The best thing about 7/11 is they will honor there price that have displayed.
The staff here do a great job of keeping stuff stocked in spite of it being intensly busy. The service is friendly every single time and they move long lines through efficiently too so I dont let a long line deture me.
I went to buy 2 on Broadway, which I do a few times a week, first the new lady working caused a huge delay by accusing a you girl of steali g items that are not even sold in the store. Then she could not even properly ring up an order which had some paid for with food stamps and a cup of coffee paid for with cash. Eventually she figured it out, I paid with a 20 dollar bill and put what I thought was correct change into my jacket pocket and zipped it up. Returning to work, where I tried to eat lunch but could not since the employee wasted most of my lunch break with her false stealing accusation, and inability to correctly ring up orders. When I opened my jack pocket to move my change to my wallet I realized I had only been given $8.53, when I should have had $18.53, I was never even offered a receipt for the cash transaction, the employee Insisted she had given me the correct change, she had not, refused to print a receipt and I had to leave to get back to work. After seeing her ineptitude I am sure it was possibly a mistake, but with her resistance to doing anything to look into it I believe she stole the money and knew I had no leg stand on if she did not give me a receipt. I will never shop at Buy 2 again as the employ thieves and vouch for the thieves when they are questioned. Terrible business. I will be talking to management to see if I can recover the $10dollats this lady employee stole from me. Do not shop here, they might pocket your change.
Nice place to get something on the go!
