He returns your phone calls and doesn’t try to sell you something you don’t need. If you have a question or need service he is there to help immediately or as soon as he can.

Brendon was very helpful over the phone. Even though the product I was looking for was our of stock, he gave me suggestions on how I might find the product in stock elsewhere. Great customer service!

My wife and I purchased a recumbent stationary bike and the sales experience was easy thanks to the help of Brendan. Just prior to the delivery date, I had a conflict arise and I called Fitness Equipment and they gladly changed it to the next day. When the bike was delivered, the team of Paul and Neil arrived on time and were dressed very professionally. They set the bike up in a spare bedroom and then helped me by moving an old treadmill into the garage. I really appreciated their willingness to take the time to go the extra mile as the treadmill was heavy and I could not get it through the door and down the steps into the garage.I would HIGHLY recommend Fitness Equipment of Eugene if you are in need of exercise equipment.

Amazing customer service! I was searching for service and repairs on a treadmill purchased through Sears several years ago but Sears no longer has technicians to do this in our area anymore. The service was great and they found a treadmill that suited my needs perfectly. They delivered and assembled the treadmill in my garage without issue. Additionally, the owner and his mechanic were there for the install and are very nice! Paul and staff are great! During the pandemic, I decided to actually try to get in shape. My 14 year old Precor elliptical died on me, which was bad enough but Precor wasn’t able to manufacture the part which was worse. Paul and staff kept me updated weekly on his efforts to prod Precor to come through. Paul took my now-broken machine in a trade in and installed the new elliptical on a Sunday, his only day off! Can’t say enough about the broad product selection and stellar service at Eugene Exercise Equipment. I purchased my first set of weights from them in 2001, and they have consistently delivered. The only place to get Precor exercise equipment, the original and undisputed best elliptical.

We had a used treadmill that we could no longer use. Paul gave us a fair price, and then came and disassembled it and hauled it away the same day. It was a great experience. He was both professional and personable.

These guys are true professionals. Ive had my TRUE elliptical for almost 10 years and never had a single problem. recently we needed it moved out of the room it was in to paint and install new carpet and then reinstall. These guy are polite, courteous, and friendly and work hard. when it come time to replace my elliptical there is no doubt where I will be going. Thanks guys

Bought a used treadmill here for my fiance. It was a great price and in great condition. The owner was very nice and helpful. He walked us through the upkeep and encouraged us to call back anytime in the future if we had questions or needed to troubleshoot issues. We checked out other stores first...next time well come here first!

I recently visited Sports Fitness of Eugene, hoping they had expanded into the home-gym business. (I knew of them because I purchased a treadmill there years ago and have been very satisfied with their service of it.) I was happy to see they HAVE expanded, and after talking with Chris, I purchased a Hoist V4 Series home gym. Shortly thereafter, owner Paul and his assistant, Neal, delivered and set it up for me. I’m so excited to discover this family owned business with such knowledgeable staff and diverse inventory. I spoke with Paul, the first time at the home and garden show, and was so impressed that I had to check out the store. I’m glad I did. Paul was able to assess what I needed from my work out and help me find the right equipment. Charming, knowledgeable but without high pressure. Do yourself a favor, invest in your physical health here. I’m hoping I can get my trainer to come in with me, so we can update the equipment at my gym!

Only place in town I could find an Olympic barbell and weight plates. I dont think their business is centered around selling to individuals but they definitely do and they are very helpful.

This is a great place with really friendly staff and interesting products for sale.I wandered in here because I saw that they advertise used exercise equipment on the exterior, but as it turns out they also sell brand new equipment that is really interesting. Apparently they supply professional grade equipment to gyms in the area, and then resell the old machines, so this is an excellent place to acquire used exercise stuff.

Very happy customer! I dropped into this shop for the first time to look at elliptical trainers and was pleased to find the exact unit Id been interested in from online reviews. The store is clean, light, spacious, and they have tons of equipment set up to look at and try out. I ended up buying the unit Id originally been researching, and they came & installed it at our house, including removing the old worn-out unit I was replacing. Paul & Jarl were friendly, helpful, efficient, and Im completely happy with the elliptical. Im hoping I never need service, but its awfully nice having a local service center in case I do. Definitely a shop Id recommend to anyone looking for fitness equipment!

This place is THE BEST. Paul is extremely knowledgeable about available equipment and are experts at matching your workout needs with the best equipment solution. Beyond that Paul and Jarl are extremely friendly and customer service oriented. I purchased high end equipment because I work out daily. I couldnt be more please with the selection process, ordering and expert installation. Wow! Dropped in late Friday afternoon and walked out with the base model of the LeMond spin cycling exercise bike. It is AWESOME. Super smooth, very easy to adjust, and incredibly quiet. I dont have to use headphones like I have done with other equipment, and it is very stable even when coming out of the saddle. Had not been to this business in several years (bought an excellent rower years ago) and there is a new energy and higher quality than was there previously. I suspect this will do me for this winter, but I am intrigued by the other equipment they have there. Highly recommend.

This has been my go-to store for Fitness Equipment as I have put together my home exercise room, to be able to do the exercises I like to do best at the gym. For me, unfortunately getting to the gym did not work out on a consistent basis. My good intentions were not realized. Good intentions do not count for exercise benefits of weight and stress reduction. I joined great gyms but did not seem to get there enough so I would cancel after a year.With a busy schedule, I like to do 15-20min sessions of exercise at home before going to or after work. For me, it is just easier to be disciplined to work out when the exercise equipment is conveniently at home, vs having to leave home to go out to a gym. Also, I like doing exercise breaks during the day when home. This works best for my schedule and helps me to reenergize during the day.At Fitness Equipment, Paul who is the owner helped me out when I first shopped with Fitness Equipment 5 years ago for a running machine. He has been working on exercise equipment for 20 yrs and knows the inner workings and quality of different brands. I find him straight forward, honest, and a kind gentleman. He was very helpful with my decisions to buy as he thought through solutions to my stated exercise type of needs, and where at home I could fit in fitness equipment.I bought the Octane Z-runner 5 years ago from this store, to be able to run with a long stride, without impact to spare my knees. It is a very high-quality machine, does not need maintenance and worked perfectly for my needs. Paul and an assistant came to my home to deliver it and set it up at no cost. I found their service to be professional and excellent at each stage of my purchase. After the sale, they were courteous when I called with questions.Recently, I wanted to start doing weight machine workouts like I use to do a gym. I did my research on the internet and at the local vendors in Eugene. Other stores that sell equipment for my residential needs regionally, did not have the equipment set up so I could check out the quality and fit to see if this was going to work for me. Bought unseen, they would ship it to my home, and I would have to spend the many hours it takes to put together. I wanted quality equipment, but not expensive commercial equipment for my home use. I wanted to buy locally to support my regions economy and be able to rely on a local vendor if unforeseen needs came up later.I went back to Fitness Equipment because I wanted to work with Paul who I trusted on this and provided great service before. Paul and his colleague Chris were great. No sales tactics, no rush, just straight up professionalism with patience helping me out as a customer to make an important decision. I went with the Hoist V4 Elite weight machine. It has many exercises offered on it, with the ability to make adjustments easily to personalize the fit for whoever at home is using it. Hoist is a very high quality for materials and innovative for the design. Built and priced for home use, with commercial quality. I appreciate it is USA made. It fits great in my home space. As before, Paul delivered and professionally put it together which took multiple hours. Definity, a job for a professional to do; not for a rookie.I highly recommend this family run store.

I needed service on an eliptical machine. I called on Aug 29, 2014 and spoke to the owner. He informed me that they could come service my eliptical at my house and that the service repairman would be calling me. On Sept 2nd I called them again to tell them that I had not received a call to set up an appointment. As I spoke to the woman on the phone, the owner walked up and heard our conversation. He told the woman that he had spoken to me and had taken down my information. The woman then informed me that I would be the first call from the repairman on this Tuesday, the first day back after Labor Day weekend. I called them a third time on Sept 4th, again speaking to the owner, and I informed him that I had never received a call to have the appointment set up.This was horrendous customer service. And to think that I was speaking to the owner of this business two out of the three times. I would not recommend this company to anyone, as I feel when you spend a lot of money on exercise equipment, that you need to keep up with the maintenance on them.
