I liked working there. Unfortunately there were more downers towards the end of my employmentTye CEO was let go and the business for JCI went to nothing. Last year was the best year for sales and profits for the JCI company owned by Astec in Chattanooga Tennessee. Now JCI looks and sounds like its going to have to close. Maybe they will be moved out of Oregon to Chattanooga. To bad for the hard workers here in Oregon that made Astec a lot of money and who have been laid off. Some who have been with company for 20 plus years. The president of jci even turned in his resignation. Now tell me that just does not compute. Plenty of others jobs for welders and fabricators in the Oregon area but you might wait in JCI to see if they are going to pull through. Make you wonder what the real story is. Let keep jci right where it is at.
