Im glad I found El Torito! I went to another carneceria down the street and the service was bad, I walked out without buying anything. The selection and service at El Torito was great! They have papayas and everything I was looking for! Im glad I can find all my favorote foods & ingredients while Im away from home here in Eugene. Highly recommended!

Mix of products, good for trying to find Latino products but quality is hit or miss. Fresh tortillas is probably the best thing here

Go to El Torito on Saturday and Sunday for the Roasted Chicken Combo. The Chicken is juicy and perfectly spiced.You also get delicious Rice and creamy Refried Beans, plus a fat stack of small Tortillas.They also give you fresh Hot Sauce and it was great. We had three meals from their generous special and enjoyed them all.

They have great selection in the meat department. People is always friendly and theyre bringing a lot of GOYA products that for me as a puertorican is a A+. In our last visit 4/16/2021 they brought Malta India, big bottle, whhaaaatt more reasons to keep coming here. Malanga y guineos para las alcapurrias y bacalao y aguacates para el gaspacho. A little of spanish for my hispanic people. 😁👍

Fantastic neighborhood Mexican market. They have everything that one would expect from a Mexican market, and also a restaurant, butcher shop and baked goods. You can get all cuts of Mexican meats and cheeses there. I love the place!

Just a bit of an issue with freshness of the meat I bought but I wasnt able to communicate with the butcher as I do not speak Spanish unfortunately it is something im learning but not fluent. I felt like I was being glared at and rushed through the order the whole time because I couldnt do more than point and pronounce to the best of my ability and hold up fingers for how many pounds, etc. Partially my own fault but the freshness of the meat is on them.

Oh my goodness I didnt even realize they changed the name!! Some items are a little bit more but thats typical in a specialty store!! I literally drive across town for their Pan Dulce!! MY ALL TIME FAVORITE!! It reminds me of being a little girl back in San Jose and going to the Mexican store for chorizo, eggs and Pan Dulce!! They pretty much have every thing you need to make something delicious!!if you want nice, beautiful clean, corn husks this is the place to get them!! Every year I can count on them to have my husks for my tamales!! The cashiers are very friendly and curteous!! Unfortunately I dont speak Spanish too well but the employees do speak english!!

It is a very good good place to find our Latin food this place. In Eugene it is for me the best place to buy what one kiere.d our Latin meals.and the prices are quite reasonable.and the attention.d first.I encourage you to go ah check.and do not regret it.👍
