I am relatively inexperienced when it comes to archery and bow hunting. I have owned one compound bow which I purchased approximately 6 years ago and loved shooting until a shoulder injury intervened. I’d given up shooting for at least 3 years until visiting Eunice Archery one day. The staff was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and most importantly patient. My experience at Eunice Archery was very similar to one of the previous reviewers. Over the next 1-2 hours 3 bows with different but gentler (on the draw shoulder) draw cycles were set up to my specs (draw length and preferred draw tension) and I was able to shoot them in a private area with my bow for comparison. There was never any sales pressure (apparently they let their quality products sell themselves) and in fact I left the first day with no purchase because it was not unusual for my shoulder to begin aching hours after shooting. I returned several days later and shot only the 2 bows that were my favorites and left again to make sure I remained pain free (which I did). When I finally decided to buy a new bow (2 days later) and was waffling between my two favorites it was the owner (Mike Hebert) that pointed out which was the better deal if all other things were equal in my decision.I ended up with a great new Matthews bow at an incredible price and had a great, truly customized purchasing experience. The facility is incredible and the attitude of the staff is like a step back in time to the days of craftsmen selling products they cared about and knowing their reputations depended on it.For bows, accessories, indoor target (3D or paper), instruction or just information go to Eunice Archery...you will not be disappointed.
I went there looking for advice. Thats what I got. They spent time with me. I shot several bows. They personalized each bow to my specs. When it was said and done, I had 4 bows on a rack that I liked, next to my bow. In honesty I had to admit that if I were buying a bow, I wouldnt buy mine. I knew what I had to do. I narrowed down to 2, then chose the one bow that was right for me. Its a big purchase. One that Im going to live with for years to come. Im glad I got to take the time to make a careful decision. They care about the customer. Thats obvious. This is the third bow shop Ive used in 30 years of bowhunting. I dont jump around at the drop of a hat, but I feel very comfortable going there and recommending them.
They new how to work my bow all the way to crossbow. And new every little bel and Wiesel.
