Spent 1k as a family to have the first three packages of ground meat we have used be FULL of bits of bone. Almost every other bite. So disappointed. I have a freezer full of meat I can’t even use or donate. I’m scared to fix it for friends or older family members who may crack a tooth. Do not recommend!!

I love this store, its clean and the people are helpful and friendly and their meat products are fabulous, high quality.

Meat was very hard and dated. There is no point in putting out meat in a display if it isn’t fresh. I bought some meat there and it was too dated to safely cook. It is to my understanding that they are no longer slaughtering local animals anymore but are buying carcasses from BIG BOX chain companies. They then cut the calf as needed. You think you are buying fresh cow but you are not. Ground meat has gristle grounded into the meat. (LOOK AT THE GROUND MEAT AND YOU WILL SEE) That makes it weight more at the register. Never again if I can help it!!! Boudin tastes and smells like pig hide. Wash your casings sir!!! Never again will I go.😞😞😞

Best place to buy meat in louisiana... always fresh quality meat.. i live in baton rouge i do my absolute best to purchase most of my meat at the Superette.. the meat just as good as Wholefood’s but reasonably priced... highly recommend...

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Everything is very overpriced, the meat isnt good quality, the boudin is so greasy that it soaks through the paper and the bag. Dont go there, its seriously the worst.

Best Quality Meats in the area. Large variety of hard to find meats. Now that they have opened their new location on Laurel Avenue they have expanded their grocery items which makes it better for One-Stop shopping.

This is the best place in the world to buy meats. They have been in business for a very long time. They have a huge selection of meats and packages you can pre-order or create your own. They have the best boudin and crackling. The boneless stuff chickens are delicious.

Terrible service and terrible prices. Boudin is over priced and greasy. Do yourself and your pocket a favor and find somewhere else to shop.

One of the last slaughterhouses and meat markets around. You really cant get beef and pork much fresher, they also specialize in Cajun specialties like ponce (chaudin), boullie, and boudin.
