I had engine issues with dual Honda 225s on my 2005 25 S.A.F.E boat. Being brand new to the area and taking a look at online reviews it seemed like a shot in the dark at finding the right person. Im glad I found Travis and Scout (the owners), they are an honest, hard working couple that cares about their reputation and clients. My outboards were in bad shape, Travis had them both up and running within 24 hours. Its now been several months since the repairs and the engines are still running perfectly. I had Travis come out a few more times to address some power issues and each time hes done a fantastic job. Travis knows what hes doing and isnt afraid to say no if the job isnt in his wheelhouse, bottom line is youre going to be treated right by these folks.

Absolutely amazing customer service. Family owned and locals that just want to get you out fishing. Told them I was on a budget and they did everything in their power to get my boat running at the lowest cost possible. They were able to take my mess of a boat and fix every issue that it had. Extremely honest and very professional work, I will definitely be back anytime I need something done right. Would recommend Time and Tide to anyone that needs a boat mechanic.

Honest, professional service at reasonable prices. Travis knows what he’s doing, is great to work with and did a terrific job fixing my jet boat. I highly recommend this business. They are new and deserve our support.

I’m a duck hunter and use my boat regularly during hunting season. Every other shop in town wasn’t able to get me in for over a week. When I explained my situation, these guys made time to help me out. I would definitely recommend these guys if you have any boat repair needs!

Sailors Beware:The initial visit with our boat took 7 months. It’s now been 15 months since we first dropped off our boat with them. 5 additional visits later, two strandings in the bay, MANY replaced parts, faulty parts, parts not hooked up, spark plugs and header bolts not tightened, the boat is still not running right. They refuse to continue work on it citing the fact they have no clue whatsoever what the problem is. They also claim they cannot water test the craft so proper adjustments can be made to the engine. Not sure how they can test a water craft on dry land. Clearly they didn’t get it right with ours. Sooo, we’ll muddle through. Do the adjustments ourselves, pray that Poseidon looks the other way while we steam along and have a proper shop fine tune the rest.Postscript; since our first visit to this shop we have had numerous sailors tell us of their poor experiences with Time and Tide and also concur with the poor quality of service received. Unfortunately for us they had replaced so many parts initially that we had to deal with “warranty work”. Look elsewhere friends.

Fantastic family run place. Very helpful and priced well. They went above and beyond to help me (a new boat owner) to understand the its and outs of our maintenance. We will be seeing them every year to prep the boat for the lake.

Refused to even acknowledge us when we came into the shop. Drove all the way from Southern Humboldt after talking with someone on the phone about getting thing done. My husband walks into the shop and the workers just look up at him and go back to what they are doing, refusing to even point him to the office. Do not bother with them.

My friend bought a new 150 Yamaha and had it installed at time and tide they gave him 1000 for his old motor and told thim they were going to part it out a couple weeks pass he decided he would like to buy his old motor back so I called time and tide they said it would be no problem as long as he bought all the new parts they had allready purchased that was around $1900 he agreed then when the time came to pick the motor up the price went up to 2550 they sent me a parts list I added the parts up came to under 900 dollars so I called them because the difference in cost she said they had a business to run they need to make money but they had already made a deal for a 1000 plus parts and I told them that a deal is a deal where Im from so she said she would call me later after talking to her husband then called me back and told me they are not selling the motor back because it would be worth allot more after fixed they ar not honest people so I would never recommend this place .this is my only bad review I have ever made on a business and I hate to do it
