Had a brewed dark 20 oz coffee with cream and honey. Cant get much better than that. Nice outdoor sidewalk seating in a beautiful historic downtown setting. With free wifi.

Great coffee in a comfortable setting with friendly staff.

Ive gotten coffee there a few times and absolutely love the coffee, but I wont go there again after the brunette today charged me $7.75 for a coffee off the menu that I usually get thats never that expensive. Coffee is an important part of starting your day out right and dealing with a rude barista that intentionally overcharges is not a good experience.

Have chess and other board games which is nice. Just got a truffle and capaccino so I could get some work done. Wifi was good, they give out unique tokens that last an hour.

Proper coffee shop in Eureka downtown. Has plenty of space to sit and good choice of things coffee shop should have. Located in some historical building.

Beautiful exterior. Local art inside. Coffee and pastries are good. Diverse crowd. Bulletin board w/events etc. Location is ideal.

Walked in when they opened and ordered coffee and a scone. It was delicious scone little soft of currents. Coffee was hot and Rich. Enjoyed sitting outside in the misty fog in the summer. Would come back again.

Cute, inviting place to enjoy a coffee and a light breakfast. Right next to the main square of downtown eureka and easy walking distance to many historic buildings and beautiful architecture.Ordered a Mexican mocha and the banana Walnut waffles. Have never seen waffle boats like this but great way to serve with toppings. Mocha and waffles were tasty. I think I should have gotten a smaller mocha a I overdid it on the sugar.Beautiful photos on the wall worth checking out. Gets pretty busy so get there early.Sidewalk seating available as well.

Cashier was snappy during the whole order, and forgot one of the drinks. Claimed someone else took it (which wasnt true, the only other drink was called out was not that). Got it, and within one minute of closing while the kids were trying to fonish up their cookies, she came out and rudely said can you please leave? Were trying to close. Been running a restaurant for some time and have never spoken to any customers like that before. I get when someone wants to hurry and get home but thats inexcusable.

I love Old Town Coffee and Chocolates. The service is great and the shop is beautiful and unique and the baristas are always friendly and knowledgeable. I have tried just about every drink and have never been disappointed. They roast their own coffee beans and make candy and fudge and its a fun shop to stop for a coffee and goodie or to order one of their delicious chicken wraps for lunch. If you are a local or just passing through town I highly recommend you check them out.

I have spent years looking for a truly excellent cappuccino in America. A combination of perfectly roasted beans and foamed milk crafted by a skilled hand. A hard ask in this country that values economy and speed over quality.When the barista asked me if I wanted my cappuccino wet or dry I was surprised, but no where near as surprised as when I got the best freakin dry cappuccino Ive had since 1995.

My apologies to anyone who has ever served me a fine cup espresso or coffee, but this was the THE BEST espresso I had in my life!! Barristas were friendly and colorful environment too.

This place is super cute & looks like it belongs in an upscale beachside community. The service was great & the coffee drinks were delicious as was our breakfast on the go! Highly recommend!

Cute place, but the workers ruined the experience. Gal taking orders was haughty, and almost dismissive. We ordered 2 coffees and some chocolates. Brewed coffee was served immediately but she forgot the cream and sugar. Iced coffee took over 20 mins because 2 separate parties who ordered before us came back in to have their order corrected.

The cashier was incredibly rude, talking badly about customers and was glaring at them. The hot chocolate is watery and the other mochas we ordered were just not that good. Over all I would never recommend this shop.

Amazing coffee (truly, and we are from the Portland area, so we know good coffee) and fritters, delicious breakfast bagels, a fun, funky atmosphere and delightful customer service from the owner and her employees. We will be return customers if we ever float through Eureka again!

This coffee shop needs some competition because the 16oz triple shot latte I had was the worst latte ive ever had. There was no effort in making the latte. A 7eleven black coffee with milk would be better than this. Not sure why it has 4.5 stars;maybe because of brick walls and a fancy hanging menu lol

Its a great spot to stop by and have a cup of coffee, Ive met some pretty interesting people here too. Its got a warm homey atmosphere in the winter and a pretty good brew. Their prices also are very affordable depending on what you order.Also its a coffee shop that serves mimosas whats not to love?

Lots of choices. I had the iced chai. It was good. My wife dark and white was very good.

I got an almond milk latte to go, it was quite good. Its a shame I didnt have time to grab something to eat, their menu looks great.

The chicks at this place are the bomb. They patiently walked me through figuring out what kind of coffee I like (Im a newbie) and then thoughtfully taught me how to order it! 🤣 ❤️

I actually really like this place for food! Got the soup and salad combo for $7. Healthy and delicious. They also have great grilled cheese-->Biscuits n gravy (good for hangovers) -->Waffles! AND their bagels are nice and big and chewy..not like the other bagel place in town...N all of the yummy drinks...only thing is they give you 1.5hrs of wifi...Sometimes I got more work to do then that!

Such a cool place, tons of amazing sweets and treats and some amazing quality coffee also. When you walk in there are some awesome pieces of art on the walls. Saw a few locals come in, simply for the truffles. Wanted to try to specialty shakes, so ill be back for that.

They have always been so accommodating of my ridiculous coffee orders. Ex: A barista once looked at every non-dairy milk they had to tell me which one had the highest amount of calcium per serving. So needless to say, if I could marry a coffee shop, yeah...The white chocolate dipped red vines are probably the best snack in the history of the Universe. Top 10 for sure. Their sweets are the perfect gift for pretty much everyone. Their biscuits and gravy involve massive proportions and are so good you will want another plate despite being full.Great spot, great coffee, great service, and snacks galore!

I used to come to this place all the time in my younger days and loved it. The staff used to be super friendly and the drinks were great. I’m back in town visiting family and took my husband and kids here the other day. The food and drinks are still great, but the service (2/3rd of the staff) is rotten. The guy taking our order seemed so annoyed by us and the girl making my daughter’s waffle also seemed annoyed that we ordered one. If they don’t want to make the waffles, don’t have them on the menu. We felt out of place and not welcome. This is probably a great place if you are just a single person ordering a drink, but I don’t think they want families in there ordering food. I’m sorry my family of four made them work. Don’t worry, we won’t come again. At least we know for next time and will continue having breakfast at Los Bagels where they are always friendly to us.

Tasty chocolates!

This place is located in the heart of downtown and while the ambiance is nice the staff was rude. Way overpriced for average product (seriously nothing special).Blondie at the counter snarled at me when I walked up to place my order and was rudely (not politely) telling a patron in line to place his mask over his nose.I spent an entire week in the area and never gave it a second chance, your mileage may vary.

Great place with friendly baristas.

The staff is always very friendly and helpful! Always fun grabbing a bite or drink from them. A great selection of breakfast food, from biscuits and gravy to a quick bagel, they also have lunch specials and great sweet treats. Not just coffee, also fresh smoothies! The hours are convenient as well!

One of my favorite places in Old Town! Great people, good music. Relaxing area. To me, its the most feel good coffee house in Eureka. They do have open mic night for acoustic guitar. When its Arts Alive they have a live band which is a lot of fun. Always had a great warm experience being the coffee house. A must if you are just taking a visit to Eureka. This should be one of your first stops.

This is my favorite coffee shop! The workers are sooo nice and the food and drinks are heavenly. The atmosphere is calm and warming, providing a great place to study or relax. And the old town building its located in is enchanting! :)

Without a doubt my favorite coffee shop in the area. They have stellar service and a great atmosphere. Do yourself a favor and stop in here for a cup of coffee or espresso.

Delicious pastries and the espresso drinks are perfectly made. So many options for flavors too. Donuts mmmmm!Really comfortable and varied seating options available for all folks. Didn’t get to use the bathroom, but seemed like a single stall kinda place.

This is one of my husband and mines favorite coffee places. He loves the ice cream blended drinks, I love the non-dairy espresso drinks (thumbs up on the black and white mocha). Youve got to try the biscuits and gravy!! Tastes like mamas cooking. The atmosphere is so comfortable. Gorgeous windows and awesome art!

Have been here a few times. Always quick service and good drinks. I have eyed the sweets which look amazing. When they are not to crowed it is great to take a seat and enjoy the ambiance. When they are getting a beverage to go and walk around downtown is a great way to see downtown.

We’ve been here for coffee two days in a row. The coffee is so good! Today we stopped and had something to eat and we’re happy with it. He had a croissant which he said was delicious. I had toasted sesame bagel with cream cheese, good stuff (I’ve had some disappointing ones. Turns out that you can make a bad bagel w/cream cheese).

Awesome, helpful and knowledgeable staff here helped this out-of-towner with a special order gift for my dad who thinks their Redwood Roast coffee is the best in the world, which is saying something considering how much he travels. Thanks!

Usually a great place that i like going to for coffee or tea. Really good hot drinks, but my partner and I ordered iced drinks in our personal cups today and were super disappointed. Our cups were mistakenly switched, which is normally fine except my cup was larger and I paid for a larger size drink than what was received. Also once we got our drinks the cups were filled to the top with ice and an entire 16oz cold brew was drinkable in 3 sips... Im also a barista, and there was literally about 6-8 oz of liquid which isnt cool when a customer is paying for more. I totally understand that the amount of ice is a tricky judgment call sometimes, but our drinks were a little ridiculous.

Best coffee and cute atmosphere

We stopped here at the end of May 2019. I got a hot mocha- they use really good chocolate for their drinks so it was incredible. Definitely recommend the mocha.

It’s chocolate..... what can I say except you cannot go wrong with chocolate. Very friendly staff and very helpful. We love to get their chocolate banana slugs for out of town folks!

Plenty of hot and cold beverages to pick from. Food is limited to pastries, candy and a few other snacks. Soup is served on weekdays. I wish their soup makerwould make more good old fashioned traditional soups like chicken noodle, creamy potatoe, veggie etc...Prices are a little higher than I would like.

Ordered an iced coffee. Coffee tasted a little burnt but still decent. First experience so it could be a fluke. So almost gave a 4 star otherwise. Staff was nice and friendly.

Great hot spot in Old Town Eureka. Spacious and enough room to feel like you have some privacy. They have a large selection of sweet treats and some nice coffee to compliment the whole place. They also display local artists painting on the walls. Nice place to hang out.

This is a very nice place. It has a pleasant ambiance. The staff is friendly and efficient. The coffee smells wonderful. They also have hot chocolate, juice, Italian sodas, croissants, donuts, and chocolate in many forms. They have Wi-Fi, but only for 30 minutes at a time. Other than that restriction it is an excellent place to hang out, meet people, and enjoy the day.

A very solid choice for coffee in Old Town Eureka. This place has the standard features: drip, espresso, various steamed milk concoctions. I especially enjoy that they always have a variety of roasts available, and those roasts are on a rotating schedule. One week its Colombian, the next youve got a nice Ethiopian available.Food is available here, and Ive seen people order it, but I havent partaken. Looks to be decent, and the prices arent that steep.Nice location in town, with comfortable interior and exterior seating options.

They have great coffee and some live entertainment on the weekends. Also plenty of seating and even board games for entertainment while drinking your coffee with your friends. Overall a great coffee shop and a great place to hang out.

Love Old Towne Coffee & Chocolates! We are from the city, but visit every time we are in town. My 2 little ones (2 and 7), love to pick out a sweet treat (caramel apples, and all the chocolate dipped treats are favorites). The staff has been very sweet and helpful each time we stop by. Its a perfect stop for sweet treats and a delicious drink-for both kids and adults.

The environment is very relaxed with great smoothies and chocolates. The brick walls are warm and turn the cozy levels up to an 11. There is always new artwork on the walls to refresh the eyes and possibly your home, if you like.I love going on monday and friday evenings to see the improv act. Its fun, especially when theres a big group to shout out suggestions. Some days are better than others but Ive really enjoyed it whenever Ive gone. And the cafe also has live music acts throughout the week in the evenings. Its a great stop on a tour of old town and a favorite for a caffeine fix.

Great coffee and chocolate with a nice ambient. Good for meeting friends of working with your laptop, although the Wi-Fi times out. Totally recommended as youre strolling around downtown Eureka.

Its a great place for coffee. I had a toasted bagel with sun-dried tomato cream cheese...lovely and the sweet woman today behind the register called me sweety...awww that just made my day...thank you beautiful whoever you are!!!

A decadent selection of baked goods. Id recommend their french vanilla truffle and fudge! The staff was also friendly and patient as it took me quite some time to decide what to order.

I always come here to study on the weekends. They have amazing coffee, wifi, power strips for laptops and chargers, and lots of sitting room. Great place to chill, work, study, hang out and more. The baristas are super friendly. I love their cold brew, but they are famous for their mochas!

It just brings back a lot of good memories when I see this place. I was the victim of a serious hate crime in 2006 which was very traumatic for me however this coffee shop was always a safe place to hang out with friends before someone tried to take my life for being LGBTQ in Los Angeles. This coffee shop shows me that despite the hate there is still joy in life

Wonderful, warm and cozy place to have coffee and out if this world delish muffins and other treats! Great acoustics for conversation yet has a calm and quiet atmosphere. Cant wait to stop in again. 😋
