Best donuts around! the owner, Lily, is an absolute joy, certainty living up to the happy name. not a huge selection, but they do what they do well. apple fritter and buttermilk are my go to choices. fritter is loaded with fruit and flavor, always a great crunchy exterior, too.

Good donuts, the usual fresh nice fare seen at most donut stores. The Chinese food is mediocre. It is also often late coming out of the kitchen. Dont show up at noon and expect to find the steam trays ready. Ran by some very nice folks though. I just wish they were more organized.

This place has great donuts. The staff are amazing and always very nice and happy to help. Its my favorite place in town for donuts. If its for bringing to work for coworkers or enjoying at home on the weekend, its always a great place for tasty treats!

Excellent donuts! Ive tried the old-fashioned, buttermilk bars, and yeast donuts - they really get it right. The breakfast burritos are pretty good, too but I really like the hot sauce that comes with.

Coffee cold, donuts werent fully cooked, doughy, we told then and they were rude. It was $40 spent for nothing, awful. Try Dons donuts in Arcata, thats where we went since then and was great service and great donuts.

AMAZING. i see some people have decided mainstream stores are better but if youre someone who likes quality over low rent base sugar patties, this is the place. the woman at the window is always so nice, and they serve chinese food at lunch too. the doughnuts dont even really mess with my diabetes (but everyone is different.) i HIGHLY recommend their apple fritter and java chip drink. good size, you get what youre paying for (which isnt that much!!) the size is also great, and i love that its a local business with poc!!! :) /poc is anyone that isnt white/. my hands are big btw, the fritter is just HUGE. handmade everyday, great customer service. love them

Been here twice so I dont know if Ive just had bad luck but a couple months ago the food made my partner kinda sick. And today I go and try the boba, it was 8$ (!!!) and not good. The actual bobas themselves were not cooked right so they were hard and the drink was so sweet I couldnt even have more than 2 sips. I give her credit for attempting to make her own boba and having vegan milk options but overall it was a bad experience.

Fantastic little donut shop. The blueberry Old Fashioned is particularly good. Very friendly service that makes even a stranger feel like a regular after a couple of visits.

The people who work there are amazing and so kind. Every month when Im in town, my family and I grab a boba and a honeydew drink. When we had to wait a brief bit, she came to us in the drive thru, and told us our order from memory. She was so kind and amazing, and Im so grateful for her service. I recommend this place to everyone. And may I recommend the honeydew boba? 💕 Its so good!!

Definitely overpriced for there quality. Youd be better off going to Safeway, at least there donuts are fresh and priced to sell. Everytime Ive gone there I leave wondering why I just paid that. 12 dollars for a plate of biscuits and gravy is ridiculous, 4 dollars for a cinnamon roll with no cinnamon and drinks are always hit and miss.

They have the best donuts in the area. If youve only had donuts from Safeway, come here and youll be in for a treat. The apple fritters are large and taste amazing. They have a great selection. The staff is attentive and friendly. I look forward to my next visit for a nice old fashioned donut.

Driving down the coast on vacation and was craving a donut. The rest of the year, I eat quite healthy, except during vacation. Because I was craving the donuts, Hubby found a donut shop nearby. I was skeptical because it was 2 p.m. and you just never know if a donut shop will be good or not. We were very pleasantly surprised! Lots of donuts available and they were huge! We bought several and ate a few before getting back on the road. Fresh, delicious and didnt have that dreaded stale greasy taste. Would definitely stop here again. Theyre a little off the beaten path, but well worth it. And the lady working there was very sweet.

I love great donuts, these were stale. The clerk was friendly, but recommended heating them up for the best taste. This was a new one for me, but she knew they were stale. I noticed Chinese food also there, but it did not look fresh. I think if they did absolutely the best at donuts or Chinese food they would have better success. To put all this in prospective it was about 4:00 PM, but no reduction in price for stale food.

Bad customer service. They gave us half old donuts with some new ones and refused to give me fresh ones. After charging $1.50 per donut. We used to go there a lot but they are beginning to mix in old donuts with the fresh ones and refused to correct their issue.

Natalie is always friendly, even at 5am or 8pm. It doesnt matter. The donuts are fresh and the appearance is just like a picture. Its like every donut is a work of art.

I am a big donut lover so I buy donuts pretty much any time I can and this place definitely has one of the best dough recipes that I have tried in all of California! I also think its unique that they serve Chinese food (have not tried it though) and they have a drive through. Double score!

Love love this place I go there every friday with my son it makes for a great start to our day. Friendly people and super fast service. The owner is really tuned in to her customers and puts lots of love into her food.

Got the Thai tea and Strawberry smoothie with bubbles. The tea was yummy. The smoothie was sickly sweet and the bubbles were gross! They had a weird texture. Not like any Id had before, which was disappointing.

Very rude first time going there they only had drive they couldnt see donuts asked to come in then waited 30 minutes changed my mind and got only 4 instead of a dozen and was told I thought you were buying more must wait till 630 to come in next time wont be a next time I buy dozens of donuts when grandkids come over on weekends but I will drive to h street eventhough this is right around the corner. Little boy opened the door and sign blew off he did not even see it fall she was very rude telling him to hang it back up. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of 5 because the Donuts are delicious, I just burped a peanut butter taste for a while afterwards. So if you have a peanut allergy oh, you might want to avoid this place.

The woman who runs Happy Donuts is incredibly friendly and the donuts are fantastic. Theyve won Best of Humboldt for the last few years for a good reason. Theyve also got warm food, Boba tea, and other beverages. Their selection of donuts is good, but I have been there a couple times where theyve run out of most varieties due to demand.

I love the food and the customer service goes above and beyond to put a smile on everyones face. Highly recommend if youre wanting a good cup of coffee and a couple yummy donuts or even a meal to go. They serve Chinese food too lol! I love it! It may be a small little shop but whoever owns that place knows how to work with what they got. They even have a drive through!!

Incredibly nice staff and workers. I was told by several sources they sell vegan donuts, but the woman didnt even know what vegan was. They dont have any egg/milk/honey/lard free donuts. Bought Chinese noodles (chow mein with no meat) because I felt bad if I left without buying anything. It was okay. The red sauce stained my teeth. Tasted old, but still good. Just not great.
